Nice venue, I was first person here just after 9.30 by 10.00 more than a dozen. Took a while before I was given a menu and when I wanted to pay. I went for the Vegetarian breakfast. Unfortunately the bubble and squeak was not available. That had been an attraction for me from the online menu Overall reasonable but £5 more than I pay locally and not as good. Maybe just me but three not very good vegetarian sausages shows a lack of imagination. OK but the sort of vegetarian breakfast that you would normally have got say 5-10 years ago.

We were served by Izzie, a very friendly girl who was very attentive to details, if we could we would ask for her to serve us next time.

Myself & my friends popped into The Crown at Litlington. The moment we walked in the door there was a frosty, Hostile feel, for everyone to turn around and stare. We were then welcomed by the rather gruff Landlady/Barmaid, without even saying anything demanded to see my ID (i.e hello) even though I have visited this pub before. I have never been asked to see my ID even though I am 29 years old. I mistakenly forgot my ID, I had lemonade which was presented in a pint glass. At this point the atmosphere was still poor, so me & my friends decided to leave. Which was ashame as all local pubs seem to be struggling in the current economy climate and you would think a small local pub, would be happy for the customers and make you feel welcome and want to stay there. For this reason, me & my friends won’t be returning.
