The best restaurants serving British food in Mancroft Norwich East of England

Cracking little real ale and cider pub. Not a drop of bloody inch's in sight, and more the better for it. 12 odd ciders from the barrel and about the same number of beers. 15 mins walk from the city centre but come up the riverside and it's much nicer. A must visit pub in Norwich with a great and knowledgeable landlord &team.

Popped in here with friends for a morning coffee and pastry. Really enjoyed our first visit. Plenty of seating. Good choice of pastries and snacks. Similar pricing to other local coffee stops. Would recommend as somewhere new for a coffee with friends or family.

Stayed recently, and I did like being there other than the staff refusing to accept scottish money saying. we have had a scottish forgery so we dont accept any scottish money (really). The most commonly forged currency in the uk is a bank of England £20 note. There are many ways to verify if money is genuine pens and machines. This prejudice needs to stop. Post office state Scottish money is accepted but not given back out except in Scotland. And all banks will accept Scottish notes.

Perfect host , Perfect food .couldn't fault it. Yummy food. Had breakfast last week and it was the best breakfast I've had out .

I love to drink, I love Karaoke and I love a good time. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a good time!!

What a fantastic place this was for Norwich city centre with a hard working long suffering director who even paid her way through Covid to stay open. Our cities small independents similar to this have a bleak future ahead as the burden of an increased VAT bill is the result of price increases to cover the forced minimum wage increase, higher taxes and raw material costs. To be brought down by this mess of scaffolding seems an absolute tragedy and certainly an exit with no dignity- but does prove that our independents are disappearing fast.

A cute little place, a nice area for children to play. The latte was really nice. A friendly place.

As always an excellent stay. Fantastic evening meal, and a great breakfast included with the room. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend ☺️👍

A really nice, traditional pub not too far from the city centre. Good food menu and roast options, and friendly bar staff. Will definitely be coming back here again soon

I love the friendliness of this cafe. The food is always good and freshly prepared and sensibly priced. My go-to place for coffee or lunch when I'm in Norwich. It is occasionally a little slow if it is really busy

Its a 1 from me Jarrolds. No matter how many years of good service you get, 1 bad experience can sour you, after all its how you deal with problems that shines through, and the store manager did not return my call to discuss my complaint, so what else can you give but a 1 star review. I saw a member of staff treating a customer, a man of around 75, in a rather shocking manner and certainly not the HIGH level of customer service you expect from a premium store like Jarrolds. I called to share my concerns, and was told the store manager would call me back as soon as the staff on the phone could locate them. That was 5 days ago, too late now to resolve and I should not have to chase it up. I wont be making any grandiose claims about not shopping there any more, but every visit will be tarnished with disappointment.

Partenope is a visually and poetic stunning film by Sorrentino, full of Neapolitan melancholy and beauty. A contemplative experience. Watching it in the comfortable, Cinemacity Norwich cinema made it even more special. Great image and sound quality.

Lovely pub to go for a drink and a chat or some boardgames with friends Food wasn't the best in my opinion however I will say most people I know love their pies so maybe I just caught an unlucky day. Give it go
