I love the friendliness of this cafe. The food is always good and freshly prepared and sensibly priced. My go-to place for coffee or lunch when I'm in Norwich. It is occasionally a little slow if it is really busy

Pop in for lunch and happy hour cocktails. Slightly disappointed with the cocktails as Most were redball mixed. The cocktails we order (4) none were like the pictures of had any garnish when I complained I was told they didn’t have any “stuff”. We both had the duck wraps which were nice. Staff were friendly.

This cafe (and Christian bookshop) is inside a former church, which makes the surroundings particularly apt for a peaceful morning stop for refreshment. The staff are very friendly, which makes the coffee/tea experience peaceful and homey. An enjoyable experience.

A reasonably priced and pleasant lunch, which had a "home cooked" feel about it was enjoyed by family members in this former church.

Popped in unplanned with an old friend. Both of us ordered coffee and a hot ciabatta. Despite being quite early they had run out of chicken fillings. However the food I ordered was perfectly tasty, and the coffees were fine too. Service was relaxed, if a little slow...but not too bad and worth the wait as food was cooked fresh from scratch and they had only just opened. I would certainly visit again.

Called in having seen the board outside advertising meals, only had a warm sausage roll (absolutely fine, and ketchup/brown sauce freely available to accompany) and a good pot of tea (so nice when you get a pot of hot water too, meant I had a really good drink). Place was clean and quite a few customers, with clean bathroom facilities too. Very reasonably priced: if I was in Norwich again I would try to go back and have something home made like the soup. Having a chance to brows the shop afterwards before going back into the grey drizzle was a bonus.

I went for lunch here last week with my parents. I ordered a mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini. It took ages to arrive and when it finally did, I was very disappointed. Considering it cost £5.25, I expected a little more than a few drops of pesto and a couple of slices of tomato. There was also no seasoning so the whole thing was very bland. The measly salad on the side of the plate had dry, old pieces of celery and radish. I will not be coming back here again and I honestly would rather have gone to KFC or Burger King.

Spent the day in Norwich site seeing and found this place by chance. Very popular lunchtime venue. Good menu choice and staff were welcoming. It is value for money too. We enjoyed the surroundings and perused books afterwards. Jacket potato with coronation chicken and garnish was very tasty. The fig and stilton quiche was equally as good. Good choice of teas. The cakes were also tempting. Would return when in Norwich.

Came to cathedral to see GA. & norm. The peregrines who have a nesting platform at Norwich. Sadly 3chicks were lost leaving one who was named solo. Wanted a coffee so went for a stroll. Hate chain coffee shops. Found this lovely cafe. The cakes looked lovely and they were homemade. You could tell by taste. Coffee was hot and tasty. Young man served us and was polite. I have vowed to come back and so nice to get away from chain cafes. Lovely place to sit and contemplate

Good Evening, On Tuesday (10th April) I paid a visit to Norwich from Cromer. After having a look at the Peregrine Falcons nesting on the Spire of Norwich Cathedral, I decided to pay a visit to Revelation Café and Bookshop. And as it is "Off the Beaten Track" it made it special as it is away from the Hustle and Bustle of the Market and High Street Shops

I usually call in at least once a week, quite often with my wheelchair bound Mum, who loves the staff, atmosphere and the puddings!!! The food and drink is always excellent - even the sarnies are top notch!!! To my mind the Belgian chocolate in the Decaf Mocha makes it the best Mocha in the City hands down! The staff are all fantastic and very welcoming. It's a 15 minute walk to get there from where I live, but happily make the time to take a trip there. It's a haven I tells ya!

We were in Norwich for the Heritage Open Weekend recently and popped in here as this was one of the places open to visit. At the back is a little café so we browsed the shop and bought a few things, thinking we might stop and have something to eat. However, it was after 4pm (closing time for the café) so were going to put it on our radar to come back the next day but we didn't like the attitude and language being banded about by one of the older men who maybe seemed to think he was 'in charge' of sorting out the next day's arrangements in the café and could be heard by anyone within about 25 yards of the back of the church. As Christians, we would not have expected this from people also supposedly Christian and were saddened by it, so this put us off coming back the next day. Hopefully just a one off incident..? Shop itself is very nice :-)

This is an oasis of peace in a busy city. The Church has now been converted into a Christian bookshop and a café. We stumbled upon it after a long journey, wanting a basic healthy very late lunch and found it here. We had the Carrot and Coriander soup which came with a roll and was delicious, so delicious that we went back the next day and had another bowlful. The staff are friendly and there is no feeling that you are being rushed out, even though they were busy on both days. A tempting selection of cakes is also available, mostly homebaked. Highly recommended for a light lunch (and the bookshop is very good too)

I walked past at lunch time having been to the cathedral. I wanted soup but didn't fancy the soup at the cathedral. I went into revelation which felt homely, down to earth and honest! There were every day people talking about everyday things. Made me smile! The soup was the best cream of tomato soup I have ever eaten - I'm not far off 50 years old and tomato is my favourite, so that's high praise! The staff were friendly and kind. Thank you!
