Such great value for money....Especially the senior citizens menu where you can get 3 courses for £12. Helpful and polite staff.

Awesome pub with great beer and even better food

We only stayed one night, but the room was fabulous. It was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was amazing. Mike, you and your team were amazing. Thank you.

Another great steak meal, cooked by the Steve, I’m not a big chip fan but Steve’s chips are so tasty. Nice cosy atmosphere with the log fire on. The waitresses are always friendly and the service is very good.

Sunday roast is a must here, all very fresh and hot, staff were lovely. The crumble was delicious just saying! There were 8 of us and everything came out at same time again hot and fresh, nothing was to much trouble. A lovely experience thanks to all the staff!

Pretty good food and atmosphere. Easy to get into for Sunday lunch.

Two starters of padron peppers and a salad with artichokes and guacamole, generous mains of pulled beef rigatoni and a burger (with a nice option to have pickled salad instead of a bun. All really good and fairly priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, and dealt professionally with a customer who could have been "awkward". Riders tethered their horses in the garden whilst getting drinks and snacks.

It is an absolute pleasure to visit a pub with well kept ales that are gravity served. If only more pubs would take the time to do this. There is also a selection of excellent sandwiches on tasty, fresh bread. The main courses were good. I recommend the Powters sausages.

Food was hot, tasty & plentiful!

The food was of an excellent standard, we very much enjoyed our visit and shall return in future. Also, epic playlist. And Soylent Green is people.

The new owners ( just 3 weeks) Have a good attitude . The food is fresh and well cooked . The layout does raise some challenges especially in the varying floor heights .Better signage is being installed i am informed as i missed a step down. WE had a nice time there will be going back as they do caterer for gluten free. Lets hope that they get more staff as there seemed to be a lack of front of house staff at present .

We stopped at this pub while doing a circular walk around Stretham. The greeting from the lady behind the bar was perfect. Bring a Sunday it was only a choice of a roast or the basket meals. We sat in the garden at the back and had scampi and chips. The food was excellent and very hot. The service was perfect and attentive.
