Love this chip shop! Good quality food, staff always friendly and smiling!

Great traditional boozer. No television or muzac.

Mediocre food, unsure why it’s rated so highly, the tacos were good but starters and everything a little more “out of the norm” were pretty tasteless. The menu seems intriguing but execution lacking. Was told we needed to give the table up in 20 mins despite getting there half hour before our booking and the restaurant being less than half full.

Went here today for lunch with a girlfriend. Lovely, warm welcoming pub. Landlords Tina and Danny are very friendly and helpful. It was quiet so we could choose where we wanted to sit. Food was delicious. I had cheeseburger and chips. Very thick burger and lovely chunky chips. I still made room for pudding, chocolate pudding and ice-cream. The log burner was on, but not too hot, perfect! Such a homely village pub, bright and clean. Water bowl outside for dogs, a boot scraper and seating outside. Car park at the rear. Highly recommend and will be visiting again for sure, taking our puppy with us next time. Thank you. Angela

I took my mother here for breakfast on Mother’s Day. There's a great selection on the menu and the coffee is fresh and so good we had two with our breakfast! Service is exceptional and relaxed. Décor is very attractive and stylish too. Will definitely return!

As a regular to the venue I cannot fault the friendliness of the place The owner is always friendly and will go out of his way to make sure you get what you want, and the staff are always happy and welcoming. The food is always cooked just the way I like it and in big or large portions if you ever visit Soham you cannot miss it as it is close to the town monument on the high street.

Popped in on a lunchtime for a swift Old Speckled Hen, which was in superb condition. Lovely, friendly village pub.

I love my indian food and must have visited every indian restaurant in Cambridgeshire many times.but i have discovered the best one of the lot the Ali Taj in soham.it should be packed on there buffett Thurs and Sunday nights.As the value for money is amazing and the food is exceptional .The best Bombay Potatoes off all time and there onion bhajis and Chicken TIkka Pathia is amazing.The staff are so friendly and you can take your own booze . What a place can't wait for Sunday.
