I'm told this is the best Thai in Cambridgeshire, I could agree with that. Definitely try the lunch time express menu, full of flavour, good hosts and pleasant atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Ordered dim sum, fried tofu and tom yum mushroom and was ok, nothing special. The main courses, prig Thai dum pork and pad ga prao duck, were very salty and heavy, especially the pad ga prao duck, they were not enjoyable at all due to the amount of salt. The service from the lady was great, 5 stars for service!!!

Great experience as always! Used this takeaway/restaurant for years! The best one in Ely by far. Well done guys.

Hadn't eaten here for nearly 20 years and wondering why not. We ordered food to take away. It was ready on time and was absolutely delicious. Three big eaters, none of whom could manage a dessert. Fresh tasting, well spiced food. Service impeccable. We are already planning our next meal.

2405 Warm comfort food after a chilly concert evening Pad kee mao : probably not too much noodle but I don’t eat much carb anyway. It’s flavorful and actually a little spicy. Tom kha is very coconuty and has a hint of fish sauce. Yellow curry is also nice and not too salty. The beef not very tender but still not too touch. Really friendly service. Food came fast.

Very nice, small and cozy Thai restaurant in Ely, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! Staff is friendly and accommodating, the food comes out quickly. Veggie spring rolls and the skewers satay were very good. We had 46 and 47 from the menu. I loved the duck slices in the peanut sauce, it was very well cooked and the meat was very tender! Had a nice little collection of beers as well. Overall a nice surprise at the center of Ely! There is feee parking less that 2' walk behind the restaurant.

I think everything we ordered taste wise was alright, food came out very fast and I loved the Thai milk tea but the sauces was just too sweet for my preference and there wasn’t a lot of rice dishes to choose from.

If you visit definitely opt for the green curry, this was great. The pad Thai and red curry were too sweet. The service was lovely and friendly, unfortunately two out of the three dishes we had were not the best.

I ordered via JustEat. I was notified that my meal was supposed to ready for collection at 20.05. Instead it was ready at 20.30. I sat waiting. Not happy with my experience

Absolutely amazing food! We have been numerous times, having both eat in and takeaway. Every time the food has been amazing and we could not fault it at all. The variety of lovely good is massive and we are always recommending to people. The service is fantastic too, which makes the experience even better. If you are looking for a Thai restaurant, look no further!

Another excellent, value for money lunch at Eat Thai.Good lunchtime menu for under a tenner. Main menu also available. Great flavours and well presented. Not the biggest restaurant and it does fill up quickly at lunchtime. Well worth a visit if you are in Ely.

Visited Ely for the day and our last stop was dinner at Eat Thai! We had a lovely time at the restaurant, delicious Thai food and great drink options and top service from the team. I don’t live near Ely unfortunately, but if I revisit I’ll be sure to stop by again! Wholeheartedly recommend!

Literally just order the food from here and I’ve never been shocked at how small a portion and quality of the food delivered for £30. The tiniest chicken wings and the smallest proportioned shredded beef I’ve eer had. A joke for that price. Won’t order from here again

WE GO TO THIS PLACE SO MUCH AND EVERY SINGLE TIME ME AND MY DAD MARTIN ALWAYS GET THE CHILLI BASIL WHITH BEEF AND JASMINE RICE THE STAFF IS ASTONISHING AND THE FOOD IS JUST ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND THE PRICES ARE REALLY GOOD HIGHLY RECCOMEND KEEP IT UP WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON JAMIE CROSS AGE 11

staffs are very kind, and the food was nice. They have a large table set for 11 people, so it fits for dining with a group of friends or family members. The only concern is the sunlight during the day time. I got sun burn by sitting near the window. It’s better to sit somewhere far away from the window or choose a dinner instead of lunch.

Awesome as always Proper Thai food

We were very late for our table booking due to traffic. The staff were friendly and didn’t rush us out despite they were closing. The meal was very tasty and reasonably price. Highly recommended

We love Eat Thai, have eaten here about 6 times now (both in and takeaway) and you just can't go wrong with it. The food is lovely, fresh and so flavourful. The staff are lovely.

Got a takeaway. Been before and was good. This time ordered half a crispy duck. Must have been a very emaciated duck because I have had bigger quarter ducks. The noodles and rice we ordered to go with it were stunning in their price and indifference. Never again

Very high quality Thai food, was impressed with the mixed starters as well as the main dishes. Went for the Chicken Gang Kari curry and it had a good consistency and spice, want really well with an egg fried rice and would definitely recommend! A table of 9 and all the food came out together at the same time and hot which can be a concern with a larger group.

Great food, good service but quite small as access from one part of the restaurant to the back is the same as the bar so can be a choke point though that's minor. More of an issue for me is the gents toilet, which is very small and you have to turn sideways to close the door, it could also do with a refresh. However this would not stop me visiting again.

Food was later than the indicated slot but I got an apology & the food was hot & delicious. So not an issue really in the end.

We were greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival. Ordering drinks and food took place pretty swiftly. We were the first lots to be there, so didn't have to wait for too long for food. For starter, we had the Mix Starter. Although very tasty, I wish they could double the portion. We are talking one serving per item, so you can't have another one because they taste so good. (Well, I'm sure you can if you order more.) For mains, we had a Gang Kiew Wan (Green Curry), a Weeping Tiger and a Pad Thai. As indicated on their menu, be aware that the Green Curry is quite spicy - not a problem for us as we can take that. Pad Thai is slightly on the "sweet" side, but still VERY NICE. Weeping tiger was just perfect!. All in all, food was GREAT! Service was good and friendly. A place that we would definitely return. We were there on a Friday night and glad we made a booking in advance. It got quite busy and they had to turn away a few walk-ins.

Used to go here 5 years ago virtually every week for lunch. First time back in 5 years. Met with the same quality, tasty, fresh and hot food and a warm welcome. DEFINITELY go here if you like Thai food!! It's the best for miles in my opinion. The lunchtime menu is great and very reasonable at £10:95 for a starter and a main. Can't go wrong! Well worth a visit! 👍👍

Service and food has always been excellent.

Really friendly staff, very welcoming. We have dietary intolerances and allergies which they were happy to cater for which made our experience so much less stressful. Amazing food! Like out of this world...I have not had thai food any better than here. Eating in is definitely a bit cosy, but I really enjoyed it, the atmosphere was chill and we had a nice anniversary meal. Highly recommend visiting, but they also do takeaway for the Ely area.

They were quite busy on the Saturday evening, but the friendly staff were on top of things, so the wait for food was reasonable. Singapore noodles were great, actually quite spicy hot, unlike some I've had elsewhere and from supermarkets. Be aware that rice is not included, but available as a side.

We visited our son and family in Ely and wanted a takeaway. They recommended this restuarent and it did not disappoint. In fact I can safely say, it was the best Tai meal ever. All that this type of cuisine should be (and often isn't) and more. The flavours balanced and brought together to taste great, with that extra bit of something that set it apart from the rest. Can't wait to have it again!

We just walked in on a friday night and managed to get a table it was very busy but was quick friendly service . The menu was quite big we had a selection of starters dumplings,chilli beef and salt and pepper squid which was all lovely i had a beef massamam which wasn’t great chewy beef and quite a thin sauce we also had a spicy fried fish dish which was good and a really nice pad thai .

This is myself and my girlfriend’s favourite place to eat in Ely. The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious and great value for money. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend giving it a try.
