Spring rolls were not very good, wonton soup had bits of plastic in it.

The food was lovely and the delivery man Dan I believe his name was, was an absolutely amazing guy who saved my dogs life as my stupid dog ran out into the street and Dan saved him before a speeding car almost took him out. If it wasn’t for Dan I do not think my lil pup would still be with us. Praise you Dan and bless your soul. Also crispy beef 10/10

We’ve previously had ok meals from here. But this time. The vegetaable spring rolls didn’t have much filling (if any). The sweet ‘n’ sour sauce, was just sour (un eat able). Which annoyed me bc I’ve had ordered an extra. Prawn crackers got binned bc they were like eating rubber. Very disappointed. Will be looking to go else where.

We tried this takeaway right years ago and vowed never again. How desperate must we have been to think things might have changed ! Don't waste your money, there are far better chinese takeaways in Ely who know how to cook.

The delivery was quick and the driver was nice but the food was terrible. The fried rice was bland, the crispy seaweed tasted burnt, the ribs were chewy and dry as was most of the other meat also the chips were bland frozen french fries and the sweet and sour balls were mostly greasy batter with very little meat. We usually order from a different Chinese but they were closed so we thought we'd give this one a go, won't be ordering from here again.

Food was very mediocre... aside from the chicken noodle soup which was inedible because the broth had a disgusting glue like consistency. Disappointing as it's the only Chinese available for delivery around Ely. I'll be sticking to my local place which is much better.

Used to be good, not great, but not bin-worthy. Notice the hygiene rating has recently dropped too, possibly related to drop in quality. Last order rundown; pork fried rice drier than the Sahara, burnt crispy seaweed, bitter tasting prawn toast (absolutely no idea why or what the hell was in that) and sweet and sour balls that if wrung out and bottled would solve the current cooking oil crisis. Really grim. Lost a repeat customer.

Delivery was quick and delivery driver was friendly as to why I've given 2 stars but the food was awful , worst chinese I've ever had!! Spent £42 and what a waste of money ..Chicken balls were hard chicken inside , hardly chew it and the chow main no taste , ribs were so chewy and the rice was awful !! Never again 😷

We have used this takeaway over 20 times in the last three years, according to my order hostory, but never again. Over the past 9 months or so the quality of the food has deteriorated. The pork fried rice is now gristly and resists biting into, so I avoid ordering that now. Recently had pork balls, and same, had to rush to the kitchen and dispose of whatever it was in the pork ball in my mouth that didn't want biting into. I didn't feel brave enough to check what it was. This is disappointing as the food used to be quite excellent.

Was visiting area and unfortunately chose this takeaway at random. The only edible food was chicken chow mein. The chicken balls were full of at/ greasy. The pancake roll can be described as vile. The black slimey smelly pancake roll went straight into the bin. Followed by the rest.

Quick delivery and hot food. Ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style and Sweet & Sour King Prawns Hong Kong Style. Unfortunately, the chicken pieces were way too big and the sauce was bland. Prawns were alright but again, bland sauce. Egg fried rice was fine. Won’t order again though.

Good online ordering system but food is average. The seaweed is always burnt

We were a little apprehensive about ordering from a new Chinese as our regular place is closed as result of Covid-19! We were pleasantly surprised & the whole family really enjoyed the food. I loved the fact that you can order regular or large portions on some items (rice/noodles) & the delivery charge to Ely was very reasonable. Food was delivered fresh & hot & within time stated on order. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

This is a very good take away which also offers home delivery.On this occasion we chose a set meal for two,to be honest it is a bit much for two people.delivery was reasonable quick the food was hot and tasty.Buying like this gives you a chance to try something you might not try otherwise

Used to order from Wok This Way a lot over the past 2 years however now I will most likely never order from them again. The past 2 orders I have had were dreadful and I have not received any response to my emails regarding specific problems. First order, I had paid for a can of Pepsi to come with however we never got it. I thought ah no big deal it’s only a can of drink.. however the second order arrived 20 minutes late and the pork curry we had, had no actual pork meat in it only fat. This is just unacceptable and because of these reasons I won’t be ordering from here again.

Just eaten the most delicious food, the chicken was so succulent and the flavours were lovely. Delivery time was good and quicker than quoted. Thankyou to all involved and thoroughly recommend.

Specifically asked for menu item which did not arrive, twice this has happened, I tipped both times. Will be checking order at door or most probably go somewhere else, dime a dozen round here

Just had one of the worse Chinese meals ever from here. Special chow mien, nothing special about it. No meat, no sauce and loads of noodles thrown in a tiny tub costing £5. What happened to this place! I can cook a Chinese meal at home better and I think I should have.

Food not bad, good ordering system, but check that you get what you ordered before the delivery chap disappears, the last 2 meals I had from there had something missing so we don't use it anymore.

Food was ok but nothing special. Satay sauce didn’t have much peanut element to it. Plum sauce was far too thick. Wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t brilliant either.

My wife children and I will never order from this place again. We have loved this take away for many years but tonight has 100% put us off my wife had a sharp piece of wire in her chilli beef. And my daughter had a old chip in her rice... We didn't order any chips with our meal. I know this doesn't sound the end of the world, but the wore nearly cut my wife's mouth and the old chip no-one knows how long it has been in the rice...

Ordered takeaway delivery a few times. Always prompt delivery. I like the countdown timer online. Food is consistently good. Well recommended.

This was my first visit to Wok This Way and I would happily return. The food was ready for collection when I was told it would be and mostly tasted great. The only negative I have is that the BBQ ribs were quite salty and the Satay Chicken Skewers could have done with more sauce, otherwise very tasty.

Visited this takeaway twice this month. Friendly helpful staff and great food. They have a website you can order on and go collect or if you prefer get the food delivered in a thermal pack. Not just a plastic bag like others. Highly recommend you visit or get a delivery if in the area.

Love this place. We go almost every week for our weekend takeaway. Would be five stars except for the number of times I've turned up later than when they said my order would be ready and still had to wait. If they can just work on their timing it would be perfect.

Went in on a Saturday night to find a very warm welcome and extensive menu. The food arrived very quickly and was still hot when I walked back to the house 10 mins away. We ordered a selection of items from the menu to try and every one of them was lovely. Not overly salty and full of msg like some small town takeaway's. Definitely recommend this one to anyone in the area. They also deliver if your not in the village you can still order super food 😁

An enjoyable and varied menu, returning customers. I esp like that I can buy satay sauce as it's a fave for on my noodles. Shame they're not able to take debt card as that feature was super convenient but there's a cash point down the road so not much of a hassle

We've ordered from here a few times in the past, but our most recent order was a let down! it was a lot later than their estimated time and it was swimming in grease! To the point I had to wipe the lids before being able to open them, the inside of the bag was covered in grease too. We also ordered a large rice and got a standard size. We also had to microwave it too as it was a bit cold by the time we got it.

As Chinese takeaway food goes I was very pleased with my order. I will definitely be going there again.

Nothing wrong with the food, it was tasty as normal, but sadly I discovered when I got home that they had got the order wrong. Instead of Singapore Chow Mein, I got Singapore Fried Rice.

Ordered 2 separate Chinese orders for delivery. First one was ok, 2nd one ordered Golden Balls Sweet & Sour, should have 3 each of Prawn, Chicken and Pork. No Prawns just all Chicken and a huge amount of pork. The pork I had to spit out as it tasted off and after smelling each one all of them smelt off. On a plus side delivery was within the times stated.

Very disappointing. Partner was happy with his but mine (sweet &Sour vegetables was very disappointing -probably the worst Chinese takeaway I've had, Swimming in sauce which tasted heavy of vinegar. Veggies were not properly cooked. Won't be going back

this is a good Chinese takeaway,they also do online and telephone orders thay also offer home delivery which at busy times can be up to an hour.as for the food it is very good and arrives piping hot,i think it is one of the better ones round here

I have reviewed this takeaway before and here we are 2 years later!

We were staying locally but a bit out in the sticks so were looking for a good reliable takeaway for Saturday evening. The online reviews were 50/50 with Wok This Way but most of the criticisms seemed to be aimed at the time it took to deliver rather than the quality of the food so we thought we'd go for it.

Ordered online, quoted 14 minutes shy of two hours delivery, called after an hour and 10 minutes to say would be even longer, NO Thanks, want it for my dinner, not bloody breakfast.

Use to order from Wok this Way at least few times a month. Good size portions for the price. Would recommend

I can honestly say this is the very best Chinese takeaway I have ever used. Ordered online for collection, food ready when I arrived, piping hot. It tasted delicious.

Superb food. Five star local authority award for cleanliness is always a good invite on any food outlet. Food is good quality at a good price . Delivery is available with the bonus of being able to order online using a card payment. Downside is parking can be a problem and card payments are not accepted in the shop.

Brilliant food that tastes authentic and high quality. Customer service is fantastic and I couldn't recommend 'Wok This Way' any more.

Los chinos tienen un gran nombre para ese sabor y aroma especial dada cuando la comida está bien preparada en un wok wok hei; y el wok hei en mi comida era comparable con la mejor comida que disfrutamos en Hong Kong. No creo que pudiera pagar cualquier elogio mejor que esto. Si están dentro de la zona de captación de wok de esta manera, sólo tienes que probarlo. Sé que estarás feliz de haberlo hecho.

This takeaway surprised me completely, didn't expect to have so tasty dinner so already recommended to all my friends!

Came here with some friends during the bikefest this year and was recommended it by the local pub landlord. We was recommended the set dinner for 4 by the young girl who took our order and was very happy with it. We were 4 adults and two kids and there was plenty to go around as recommended. Yes we were only in the pub next door but they still delivered it to us in no time. Highly recommend this place.

Recently moved to Ely and made an order online via their website which was very convenient. The food arrived around 40 minutes later - which for a Saturday night is pretty good.All the food was impressive, with very decent sized portions and a freshly cooked taste - as well as it being quite hot (very important). Chinese takeaways are all like for like of course - but you can certainly come across bad ones (that arrive cold, poorly cooked etc etc). I'm gad to say that the Wok This Way are very decent and I recommend using them!

We get food from wok this way when visiting friends in Littleport always great food consistent busy for a reason must try highly recommended!!

Sadly have had takeaways before, but this was totally over salted, the sauces were thick and gooey, and the other dishes had no flavour and very bland, I will try again, don't no if change of chef, but needs the chef to taste what he cooks re seasoning.

Chips are either under cooked or over cooked, Chicken breast, over cooked, there is no happy medium in how they cook the fooddelivery time can take up to an hour, or over in some casesOverall, very hit and miss to how your meal will be

Have seen other reviews of wok this way, but I have always found them to be very good. You can order and pay online which is great. There can be a very long waiting time which can be up to a hour, but when the food arrives it's worth it. I love the crab claws and Singapore rice noodles.

After reading a few poor reviews, we were cautiously optimistic but this take away was actually very very good. Non greasy chicken balls, delicious satay chicken and a generous set menu-hubby and I were both very happy and will definitely visit again.

What kind of a Chinese takeaway is it that doesn't take an order for a specific time to pick up! Couldn't believe it, snotty self important person picking up the phone telling me its too much hassle to put an order through for a timed collection. Have an order for over £150 and then get that feedback, well on your bike son it's going to be an Indian tonight instead. Worst customer satisfaction ever! Jokers!

This take away has a good food rating and you can order online, my only gripe is that they don't do salt and chilli squid.

We live in ely and have tried them all but non are as good as here. The food is always fresh, hot and very tasty Only thing is they it takes ages to arrive, so take that into account when you order

We order from here at least once a month and the food is always amazing. we particularly like the golden Buddha ! Last week we ordered for 12 people and they made us a priority having our order ready in just 20 minutes. However I have found that it is better to phone than to order online as this seems to take a lot longer. The girls are really friendly and helpful too.

My husband and I first picked up food from this restaurant on the way home from work. I have the Kung Pao chicken and my husband has a dish that included fried rice. The Kung Pao chicken was good; very spicy (which was what I wanted because I was sick!). However, the sauce did have a strong ketchup taste. My husband's fried rice was not very flavorful. Although, the second time we picked up food, I got Chicken Chow Mein and my husband got the Roasted Pork Chow Mein. Both were really tasty! The dishes were full of flavor and piping hot when we got home. It did not take them long to prepare it and the service was quite friendly. This is great for a quick take-away dinner. We will be returning (for chow mein!).

Well after using Wok this Way about 6 tines recently i have found the staff extremely friendly and a family run business. The food is great and when i have gone in and ordered it has only taken 10 mins for my order to be cooked. After reading the other reviews i think some people think food can be cooked packed and delivered all within 10 minutes!!! When in there i witnessed lots of deliveries going out with all the orders being checked and each order is in a separate hotbox. I cannot fault the food.....best around. :-)

Read some of the reviews left on here and thought I'd say a little something. I eat out a lot in nice restaurants all over the world with different price ranges and I love cooking myself hence I know my food and drink. I occasionally order from wok this way when I can't be bothered to cook or I don't have much time. The standard is second to none especially if you compare it to the other Chinese takeaways in Littleport and nearby Ely. Food is always fresh, tasty and hot. Admittedly I've had to wait a couple of times but I accept that as it's always packed in there. If there was two joints side by side and one was empty and the other heaving I know which one I'd go to even if I had to suffer the wait. There is a reason one would be empty and one not. There is way way too many eateries in Littleport and you tell which ones you don't have to wait at and those are the ones that are dead and no one in their right mind would eat at even if they offered all the freebies that people moan about. If you want good quality you pay for it... Simple!!

We order from here about once a month and the food is lovely but if you're ordering on a weekend prepare to wait. We've waited over 2 hrs once which wasn't really acceptable. Usually it's fine mid week though.I wouldn't order from any other local ones as the food here is one of the best I've had from a Chinese takeout

My partner has ordered food a few times since my first 2 orders from this place and they have delivered within 30/40 minutes each time, so very much improved and I will definitely be ordering from here again in the future. The food is excellent and would highly recommend

The last two visits to this take-away have been terrible. On both occasions I ordered on-line and was given a collection time of twenty minutes. Arriving on time I then had to wait another forty five minutes. During my wait I observed wrong orders given to customers, customers arriving to find their order had been given to somebody else. Complaints that parts of orders were missing, I could go on.When I finally got my last order it was only warm. I've had good food from here previously but the service is currently abysmal. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

A few times ordered and recieved the wrong food but given benefit of the doubt, sent an online order through which was confirmed by email at 19.34 stating it would take up to 80 minutes! By 9pm it was not here so rang the shop and was told it was just leaving!! 25 mins later at 9.25pm our food arrived by this time we are no longer hungry!! Absolutely shocking and mistakes frequently happening with no signs of an apology!!!! Never again

Placed an order online which stated an hour delivery, had it confirmed and said it had been sent through to the Takeaway... Waited over an hour and by this time me and my guests were rather hangry (hungry and ANGRY!!), I then rang the shop to be told - rather rudely I may add - that it was our fault and the order hadn't even come through...and to be told that they wouldn't do anything as we opted to pay cash rather than card.We were then told we could come in to collect it - and wait half hour - or it could be delivered in 1 hour. We went in for the women to look at us and began to talk about us - loudly over the counter about how we had come in for a moan and rudely discussing us.When we got the food back it was pretty cold, the chow mean was practically just beansprouts and we received no free prawn crackers!!Wouldn't waste your time going here, happy house is down the road and is cheaper and friendlier then this hole!!

Food is excellent, I love the fact you can order online and collect so quickly.Friendly staff,never heard of chefs recommendations in a chinese restaurant so tried it and wow it was delicious. something i wouldnt have normally have tried!Why didnt we try it sooner...only issue is parking. But you can park in the old bingo hall car park.

Maybe we got the wrong night but I took mine back! The sesame toasts had been over fried and no taste of prawns, sweet and sour pork balls had soggy batter. I could go on but will not return. Perhaps, having enjoyed really good takeaways, our expectations were too high but prices were not low.

Food from this little family owned place is amazing. The 'One Inch Punch' is a must for spicy food lovers and sure does pack a punch. My friend who is vegetarian was also catered for as they have a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Excellent food, excellent service and great value for money portions. Definitely recommend this place for lovers of Chinese food.
