Visited for a day out and fancied a little snack before heading home when we stumbled upon the hallouman! Great customer service, friendly, exceptionally clean. A decent amount of halloumi for a very reasonable price. Incredibly delicious, definitely recommend!

We came to The Swoop for a cocktail masterclass. Fiona was amazing, a real laugh and her cocktails were so good. You could tell she had a real passion for what she did and we learnt so much as well as had a good time. Miles was also superb and did some more cocktails for us after. The fact everything was locally sourced was even better. I ended up buying everything to make one of Fiona's signature creations. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend a class at The Swoop, or if you want some local alcohol as a gift or for yourself, you must check the shop out

Canadian Style Didn't expect 'Poutine' means meat and chips in gravy at all. We always thought it charges extra because it's a ciabatta sandwich with chips as a side. I should have read the reviews before coming, my bad. The sandwich is okay. At least it's a hot sandwich. But the pork cracking was a bit too hard for teeth. I strongly suggest you biting it really slow, you know, Canadians' way. The Poutine is very salty. The chips became very soggy because of the salty gravy. We failed to finish the dish. Not sure about this Canadian style. But the service was good. Clean environment. Price was reasonable in Cambridge town centre.

The main chamber and debate room were beautiful, I went to an astronomy lecture here. The architecture and design and decorating of the place was beautiful with all original portraits and stuff on display, the library was also amazing! Only thing is the staff had no idea what they were doing...

This was an amazing find one summer and now I always try them out whenever I find them. There are a fantastic variety of flavours - my favorite is the black pudding one - all crispy coating and lovely soft egg,,,,mmmm

Excellent. Having previously visited another Honest Burger in London, we had high expectations and I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. In fact we were left even more impressed that before. Excellent service, super friendly, helpful and very understanding of dietary requirements. The burgers are top notch and the local special at this restaurant is great. I'll definitely be visiting again, it's now the first place I'll think of when I want a burger.

Surrounded by a plethora of fast food junk establishments stands an icon of hope and joy, the Market House. Service and cooking is to an excellent standard; Both dishes I had were showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful flavour combinations. The Pinney's Hot Smoked Scottish Salmon was a standout. The salmon itself was perfectly smoked, with a delicate balance of smoky flavour and moist texture. The smoked buttermilk cream added a luxurious richness that complemented the salmon beautifully, while the cauliflower provided a subtle earthiness and textural contrast. The herbed cracker added a satisfying crunch and a burst of fresh herbs. The main course ; Whole Baked Lemon Sole was another winner. The sole was cooked to perfection, with flaky, tender flesh and a delicate lemony flavor. The celeriac fondant was a revelation, offering a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture and a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the fish. The roasted fennel added a touch of anise flavor and a satisfying bite, while the kosho pear provided a unique and exciting twist with its spicy, fruity notes. The dish was also gluten-free, which is a bonus for those with dietary restrictions Overall, both dishes were expertly prepared and presented, demonstrating a clear passion for quality ingredients and culinary creativity. For food lovers hope shines eternal at the Market House

One of the best pubs in the country - not even an exaggeration. Such a wonderful selection of beers and they even have mead/ginger wine, which I’ve never seen at any other pub! Wonderful atmosphere, board games, you can bring your own food, lovely staff.

Good enough coffee Nice place Awful food - nasty sweet dressings and the quiche was just sweet chutney with no egg mix. I couldn’t eat ANY of it.

What a great café. Chance and Lewis run this independent café to a high standard and have a great sense of humour. We will certainly be revisiting again. Independent’s need support.

1st time at the Woolpack the pub looks great from outside and tradition feel in the bar, with a cosy warm fire. The bar staff are friendly and drinks and food order taken promptly. The starters were small and overpriced , they arrived and disappointingly they were missing the sauce, this was not mentioned on ordering or when the starters arrived, we had to go to the bar to queried this and were advised they had run out. We were still charged full price, which is disappointing customer service. We all had roast dinners these were very generous in all departments, meat and vegetables, with a large Yorkshire, they probably did not need potatoes 3 different ways, and the roasties were a little hard, ie not cooked fresh. but plenty of gravy. We had completed a long walk and were hungry. May give it another go, sometime.

Don’t often leave reviews but had lovely time here tonight. Birthday celebration. Calamari was best we’ve had, shawarma, chicken burger and watermelon salad really tasty. Puddings lovely too. Our waitress was really sweet (blond hair yellow top) so sorry, didn’t get her name. Think she was new but was really patient with my elderly mum who was faffing a lot, thank you!

5 stars for the decor and the atmosphere and also because I enjoyed it, yes yes. I had a grilled salmon steak with maple syrup, I loved it. For the accompaniments and the service, I know how it works in England, we weren't surprised. It's a very good memory.
