The best restaurants in Market Cambridge East of England

We travelled to Cambridge and my young son was extremely keen to try Africfood given the reviews. What a terrible experience. For £7.50 you get one piece of goat ' meat' ( bone surrounded by a minuscule amount of meat) with a lot of rice. He was extremely disappointed and I was kind of furious. This is really a bit of a scam. In a market with lots of amazing food stalls, why would anyone spend their money here for a ridiculous amount of goat curry.

when we go into Cambridge we always call in to Shelly and Sarah's for a lovely Bacon roll and a mug of tea. we even take our grandchildren there as they love the food and drinks. The prices are very good and reasonable and nothing is to much trouble for them.

Honestly, the best wrap I had in my life! Chicken so flavorful, not dry even without the sauce. The guys are super friendly. The meat is Halal and they also have vegetarian options which is great!

Ordered burger and chips money well spent. Cooked it fresh in front of me not long waiting and the man himself serving the food was a treat.

We often stop here for a hot dog and only want a quick snack when we visit Cambridge. Consistently reliable and tasty. (If you walk along Market Street from the market, however, beware of the dangerous state of the footpath that the council never bother to repair).

Visited for a day out and fancied a little snack before heading home when we stumbled upon the hallouman! Great customer service, friendly, exceptionally clean. A decent amount of halloumi for a very reasonable price. Incredibly delicious, definitely recommend!

We came to The Swoop for a cocktail masterclass. Fiona was amazing, a real laugh and her cocktails were so good. You could tell she had a real passion for what she did and we learnt so much as well as had a good time. Miles was also superb and did some more cocktails for us after. The fact everything was locally sourced was even better. I ended up buying everything to make one of Fiona's signature creations. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend a class at The Swoop, or if you want some local alcohol as a gift or for yourself, you must check the shop out

Qué lugar más cálido y acogedor. Las crepes eran absolutamente delicioso y muy amable servicio. No puedo esperar para volver y probar un crepé dulce como tuve salado esta vez.

Absolute pile of sh...e The second time I've been on a wild goose chase looking for a supposed vegan cafe is f.....g west London, only for it not to sodding exist! Walking up and down New Oxford road like a gobs...e, to no avail. Place either doesn't exist, or is invisible. Total stupidity, and frustration

The best hot dogs/on the go lunch in Cambs. They offer great rewards and they NEVER disappoint! Always a go to in the Winter to warm up whilst walking between each shopping centre.
