Ordered burger and chips money well spent. Cooked it fresh in front of me not long waiting and the man himself serving the food was a treat.

Lovely, warming cuisine. Friendly staff- clearly passionate about food. Chicken excellently seasoned - falls off the bone and melts in the mouth. Pork an absolute winner too. All finished off with a wholesome gravy with just the right amount of kick. Would definitely eat with these guys again.

A must street food stop in cambridge. Found it in the market, and is just delicious what Janet, the owner, does with food! Highly recomended stop in Cambridge!

Food all excellently sourced and prepared. A bit pricey but definitely worth it (portion size was generous enough) and the hot sauce was hotter than expected but didn't ruin the food so it was good on the whole.

I have walked past this place many times. Today I decided to stop. I am so glad I did, the food is delicious. I had a mutton Roti wrap with the hot sauce, and it was lovely. You can also have chicken or a veggie one,and they do other things too, it's a really good menu and very reasonably priced. The lady who served me was very friendly and was very happy to explain the menu to the couple in front of me in the queue. I will definitely be returning.

Great little find on the market, this fantastic little street food vendor. Opposite GAP and M&S. So pleased I stopped and bought a mutton roti. I am not a tree hugger or a VW Camper owner, )although I like trees and equally like the campers). Incredibly tasty, I had some of the spicy sauce and thoroughly enjoyed my find.

Really fresh delicious food on this stall on the Cambridge market. Homemade mayonnaise, chilli sauce, and fantastic tasty curries. They have become entirely vegan and the food is as great as ever. Local ingredients. Ethical. Highly recommended.

Whenever I am back visiting my home town of Cambridge, heading down to the Market Square is always on my to do list, in order to eat at the fabulous The Lick. As a vegetarian I always have a veggie curry roti, and they are just delicious! The curry is fragrant and perfectly spiced, and the roti are made with whole wheat flour, so very healthy too. Another reason the Lick is so great is that their products are from local, sustainable sources, which is so important. And their homemade hot sauce packs a wonderful, tangy punch! Highly recommended!!

They put real care and thought into the food at the Lick and it shows. The roti are delicious - light, and yet satisfying doughy in texture - and the fillings warming and delicately spiced. I enjoyed both the mutton curry and the chicken and I will be back soon to try more!

This is by far the best food at the market. I have worked into my Sunday routine. The owners are a lovely couple and take great care of every customer. Please give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I found The Lick on a cold day last winter, and the incongruity of the reggae playing and the medieval academic-city backdrop, compelled me to give it a go! (I have no free will). Also, the food smelled really yummy. I'm glad I did -- food was lovely, hot and healthy, and the proprietors -- a couple (?!), he (originally) from the West Indies, she from somewhere around here, nearer the Arctic Circle -- are enthusiasts for their food, and genuinely engaging and friendly. And it's all made on the spot -- am really gutted on those days, in the shadow of Great St Mary's, amidst the wind whipping in from Siberia -- when I go to the Cambridge Central Market, hankering for some rice and mutton curry, and The Lick is not trading! But it's there often enough, and well worth the visit!

Their mutton curry is absolutely delicious: lots of meat, very flavoursome and a child friendly level of heat with big chunks of vegetables. I had it served with a fresh salad which complimented it perfectly. All served in a carton making it practical to hold and eat on the go. What makes this stand out even more is how good the staff are at dealing with enquiries related to food allergies: because they made it they know exactly what's in it and can advise accordingly. Great food & great service at a really good price.

For a delicious, lunch on the go you can't get better than The Lick Caribbean Street Food Stall on Cambridge Central Market. Try their vegan, chicken or mutton curries, all served with either rice and peas or in a roti along with salad and delicious home made sauces. All food is fresh, local and organic where possible, including the rotis made from flour milled at the local windmill! Had lunch there today and will certainly be back!

Short review is our friends and family LOVED the arepas . Many of whom are were visiting from South America Ivan and his Arepa Station provided catering for our wedding celebration in our garden at home via their food truck. Ivan was great in the lead up with communication and the arepas were loved by both the brits and the Latin amongst us. Would highly recommend and use Ivan again

I did a hot yoga class with Hakan (instructor) and i found it very unfriendly for new comers, especially beginners. It’s a shame as the classes and studio itself are advertised as friendly for beginners and all levels. There were a lot of movements that cannot be done as a beginner and there were no efforts made to adapt/modify exercises. There were points where l had to just sit there looking around because I couldn't do some of the more advanced poses and the instructor did not offer any modifications. There should be a notice before signing up to the class to indicate it is for advanced students and not for beginners. There was a strange smell coming from the mats in the hot yoga studio. Additionally, the website states they have showers - which they did not have. I’m also disappointed to see how they respond to reviews - very polite in higher reviews and very passive aggressive in lower reviews.

Good service, with a sleepy mascot, good waffle and fair price!

Can someone explain why the beers are priced on the board by thirds and not pints, leading to a flight of four thirds coming to ca £25? The beer quality was excellent but this was the price of a bottle of fine wine! I left feeling entirely ripped off, though the service was pretty good
