This charming cafe does very good cakes and pastries. Service was prompt and friendly. The food is reasonably priced, certainly by Cambridge standards. Worth a repeat visit, not least to enjoy the range of things on offer.

We were in Cambridge on Saturday of Easter weekend, and spotted this little cafe that looked ideal for a spot of lunch. We both had the Veggie Breakfast Baguette, milk shakes and coffee. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were so friendly and chatty. The cafe had a lovely atmosphere and we got a real sense that the staff care about the service and their customers. We will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely impromptu lunch here in early March. Everything was homemade, we particularly loved the sausage roll! Friendly service, good size portions and really tasty food with reasonable prices. A lovely independent eatery, definitely worth a go. We will return.

The perfect place for a little pitstop.

We visited here for a quick tea and scone break. We were so impressed by the staff. A homeless man came in while we were there and wanted a cup of water, the waitress was so kind to him. She quickly got him a bottle of water and treated him true respect. It was heartwarming.

It is a cracking position too - a little bit more 'select' than the other city centre cafes. A large pot of tea and unlimited filter coffee with my rower's breakfast. Mother had a baked potatoe. Chocolate slice to finish. Food reasonable. Service very good. Price very reasonable. Perfect location.

Whenever we're in Cambridge we always come here for either a cuppa and cake or lunch. The food is reasonably priced and there is a good choice of quality food, unlike other places in the area which hike up the prices and serve mediocre food to passing tourists. This is a small but clean eatery with staff who are friendly and helpful. Service is quick but you are not hurried. It is a popular place with outdoor seating.

We enjoyed our lunch outside Le Patissier, though on a hot July day, though the pavement location meant that there was no escape from the sun other than the rather airless interior.

Just called in here for a quick cup of coffee and a cake. The lady owner asked us if we would sample some new cakes she had and give her our feedback. The cakes are called Alfajores. They are like to shortbread biscuits with caramel inbetween. They were delicious, but you do need a drink with them. the coffee was really good aswell.
