Excellent service with gluten free and dog friendly, really looked after all of us including the dog.

Good food but very pricey. No student discount on weekends and the newsletter discount only works the day after, so kind of pointless when you're already there. Bit of a shame really but doesn't make you want to go back

My daughter and I finally fixed a date to enjoy some mum/daughter time. We wandered into Cambridge and found Bills in Green Street. Greeted by Harry, we were seated on a quiet table and were aware of the buzzy atmosphere - though were able to sit and chat without any issue. The food order was taken with our drinks and arrived promptly despite the busy larger tables at the back of the restaurant. The food was fab and we were really impressed by the quality of our meals and the attentive staff and service. We will definitely be back - when we can find another date! Thank you

Had the best experience ever in Bill’s recently. My Birthday was 25th April and hubby and I decided to have lunch at Bill’s to take advantage of the free Prosecco offered for Birthdays. I booked online and mentioned it was my Birthday. From the moment I entered the building I was treated like royalty. Jan greeted us and wished me Happy Birthday and said he’d organise the Prosecco right away, which he did. The food was amazing (I personally recommend the Santorini salad) and the service was first class. I was also presented with a hand written Birthday card and also offered a free dessert which came out with a sparkler. This has restored my faith that there are still restaurants that provide great customer service. Jan is a credit to the restaurant. I’m not sure of his position there but he personally went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and we had a nice chat with him before we left. Due to his great customer service and the delicious food we will definitely be back soon. Well done Jan and the whole team at Bill’s Cambridge. A very happy customer here.

I organise a work social here every year for a pancake buffet. Never disappoints!

usually i love coming to Bill's, im from norwich and have had amazing experiences at our local branch - so when my partner came to visit me (im currently working at addenbrokes) we figured it was worth a look. unfortunately the service was extremely slow (we were there for an hour before we saw any food), not exceptionally friendly.. and the "optional" service charge was 12% !! we asked to have it removed which I'd usually never do.. i had a vegetarian meal and the portion was laughable, we spent £44 for two people. the brisket burger was good as reported by my partner, unfortunately my portion was just too small to be considered a meal.

Horrible experience. We were advised upon being sat that there was a 25 minute wait for food, which we were happy to wait for, but I had to request water for the table twice before any was delivered, after our food arrived and 25 mins into our booking. I ordered the Garden Plate, which their online menu says offers smashed avocado and red peppers, neither of which were provided for the same price as stated on the online menu. I didn’t even get butter for the dry bread, and had to use some of my husband’s. Upon finishing our food, I requested the bill immediately as their in-house guest wifi wasn’t working so we couldn’t use the QR code provided on the table - after 20 minutes at an empty table, being ignored, I finally managed to catch a different waitress (ours was having a chat with her back to us, and the manager was having a separate chat with another waitress), and ask again for the bill. She pointed us to the QR code, which I explained the issue with, and we were finally able to leave, having to rush off for something else. I’ve emailed in a complaint, and will update my review if/when I hear back.

An exceptional meal with great service. We came in as a party of 10 with 3 dogs. So we are always quite limited on where we can go. It’s so lovely to find a restaurant that caters for four legged friends. We also have a few vegetarians and the food was exceptional! No ping-popper meals in sight, veggie options were in an abundance - there’s no after-thought with their dishes here! Totally fresh, tasty, and well presented food which was of great value. Our waitress was so wonderful and patient. All food came out together and was hot. They helped us with a surprise birthday cake. I would hands down go again without a doubt!

We had booked a table for my sister's birthday and it couldn't have gone any better! Food was amazing and soxwere the drinks. Service was fabulous, Jan looked after us really well and was always around when we needed something and even offered my sister couple of drinks on the house for her birthday and got her a birthday card at the end from all the team at Bills. We'll definitely be coming back soon

Visited Bills for the first time with kids. The atmosphere was OK, kids like the interiors. Mains arrived quickly. My burger was underseasoned with meat having no flavour . One gluten-free person liked their selection. Had to wait a long time for deserts, at least twice as long as for mains (about 25 mins). Servers changed all the time. Some moody employees. Little attention from servers during visit. There is no chance to get attention to pay for the meal. Decided to use the qr code to pay for the meal. I was asked if I wish to add a tip. After coming back home and looking at the receipt, I realised I was charged a standard 12.5% service charge and the tip i added, which came over 20%. Room for improvements across the board.

I think Attila our waiter was fantastic. Offered everything without being asked. He is five stars. A lovely evening.

The Food? Always Plate-Cleaning Good. Service is Lovely and Attentive, though you might wait a bit at times. The Retro-Kitsch Vibe is super Unique, just a tad cluttered at times. Still, a Tasty Little Gem.

The staff were friendly and prompt, and our food and drinks arrived quickly even though the restaurant was pretty busy. A little pricey but the food tasted pretty great.

Food was disappointing. Very overpriced tasteless meal. What we would have loved was the all day breakfast, we asked a staff member at 5.06pm for this and she said she stopped serving this 6 mins ago- and the kitchen had put away all the sausages, bacon and eggs. (Although you use these for other dishes on the menu) this could have been turned around to outstanding service, however it wasn't.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bill's in Cambridge and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic lunch. The décor was tasteful, with elegant lighting and comfortable seating. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the menu and making recommendations. The menu offered a diverse range of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The prices were more than exceptable A good selection of drinks, but these are very expensive, which was the only downside. I will visit again.

Lovely Restaurant!! Staff greeted us in a lovely manner the girl her name is Mills remembered us from an earlier visit at Xmas time which was really nice . She was friendly and made our dining experience perfect 👌🏻 Food was lovely as well ! But the service from Mills made it exceptional!! If you could have staff like this everywhere the world would be a great place ❤️

A nice restaurant and friendly waitress, however our breakfast was nicely presented but luke warm, also if paying via QR code it adds on a service charge but if you don't want to pay this you need to speak to a member of staff, wouldn't go again cause of this.

We arrived early, having booked a table. We were then taken to our table at the booked time by the door which was cold We asked to be moved but the answer was no. We gave our food order and only 2 of the 3 meals were brought out! We've been here an hour and a half, I'm cold and hungry and not impressed 😑

Had a super yummy brunch, avocado toast was incredible! Our waitress Sophie was also super lovely and was able to give us great recommendations. Will 100% be back

What a find Bill's was today! Both my son and I enjoyed our food which was delicious and we both said how pleasant the atmosphere was. There was background music but it wasn't intrusive or overly loud. I wasn't made to feel a 'problem ' as the stairs were a challenge for me and I asked where the disabled one was. It was lovely and clean too.

We went to Bills for a going away dinner. We had a large group of 15. This was one of the only restaurants we could find that could accommodate our large group. We had a smaller menu offered to us because of our group size and we had to place our order ahead of time. Not a big deal. I am gluten free and selected such from there menu. We arrived this evening and were told the item I ordered was in fact not gluten free. I’m not sure why it was on the gluten free menu. I instead got a VERY bland steak. Zero seasoning… I went too add salt and pepper and was surprised to find multiple things in the salt shaker!!! Black crap on the inside, specs of crap, and fur! So obviously I didn’t use that. Multiple orders were sent back due too being under cooked or just flat out wrong. I will say my gluten free brownie was very good. The over all atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and inviting. I wish I could say the same for the staff. When a lady comes in with a baby… ask her if she needs a baby seat. Don’t make me hunt one down on my own with my baby in tow. We also enjoyed some lovely entertainment as the staff loudly pushed through the restaurant with entire trash cans, went past a curtain, left the door open, and proceeded to loudly dump the trash. I’m also very big on bathroom hygiene. If a bathroom is clean at a restaurant then they probably have a clean kitchen. If the bathroom is gross then that’s probably how much effort they also put into their kitchen’s hygiene routine. The bathroom was horrific! Crap built up on the floors, toilet paper rolls sitting around, doors are gross, slime growing on the sinks backsplash and the sink itself, and crap in the crevices of the toilet seat. I’m disappointed in my visit. This could be so amazing and has so much potential to be better! I took a few pictures but was also busy with a baby.

The food and drinks at Bill's were good. The burata, chicken burgers, sea bass and pasta were all very tasty. The seamless blend of good service, delicious food, and stunning decor makes Bill's Restaurant in Cambridge a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a simple dining experience with kids and family. Kids menu available as well.

The hostess at this place, the one wearing glasses with the wide forehead, is really rude. Stark contrast to most of the staff who are lovely. Never going back here because of my negative experience with that woman.

Quality of food is not great. Choice for vegans is very poor. Atmosphere on a Saturday morning is on existent. But the staff are excellent and very competent. We will not be going back.

The food is cambridge standard, slightly overprice but ok.. We ordered tap water and they brought opened bottles of water, when we got the bill, we realised they charged almost £5 per bottle. Also, they don't do normal bills. They have an online payment system that is difficult to use, especially for larger groups.

We were looking for a central location for brunch with our large dog. When the first reaction on arrival is "would you mind if I fuss your dog?" Then you're in good hands. Excellent food, wonderful service (shout out for Jess!) and good value. Great place to have discovered.

I have previously absolutely loved Bill's, but this time it was slightly disappointing. Although the food was OK, I have had much better here before! It felt like it was prepared with less care. The pea shoot salad wasn't fresh, although the meat was cooked as I liked it. Overall, good, but could do better!
