Great food always. Burgers are especially nice, breakfast could be bigger, but that's because is tastes so good.

Lovely ambience. Great food and drinks. Our dog was allowed in. SUPERB service from Chelsea who handled our many requests faultlessly and with a great smile. Breakfast was top notch!

Very good service, well-presented food and an attractive environment. The vegan breakfast looked better than it was. Fried potatoes and hot sauce? No thanks. Very odd scramble too. Downstairs toilet was awful and then we saw the bill - not worth it for such weak tea! A teapot that holds two cups' worth needs two teabags, obviously 🙄 And an 'optional' service charge of 12.5% had been added without it being optional at all. We won't be back.

Bills looks great though the window and walking in through the heavy draped doors continues the theme. The decor is a little over the top like a hotel lobby with a plethora of random images, statuettes and paraphernalia all over the dimly lit rooms. The menu is ok. Think upmarket Wetherspoons, freshly cooked and easy to eat. If you get excited by chicken two ways and burgers then you’ll love it. A little over priced for what you get but I guess that’s because it’s a supposed to be exclusive. The 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill which was a bit much as the server changed during our meal and we were not introduced by name. They also requested a tip! Cheeky. Overall it was ok. Not sure if I would visit again.

It taken me six months to put into words this horror-show 😡. We ordered kids meals (for the kids) that wouldn’t even qualify as a toddlers meal . Half way through the meal I felt something soft under my shoe. So I looked under and there was a ….. PILE OF MEAT!!!!!!!! I could not believe this. The waitress didn’t seem to care and was barely phased. The adults was also tiny and came with COLD chips, so patiently we waited for more chips. Don’t even get me started on the bill. This is a nice Bills, it has a great cosy atmosphere to it which is wonderful. The waiting staff are really friendly and wonderful at their jobs.

In a relatively quiet street. Inside is huge with a lot tables. Friendly and high efficiency staffs. Tap water is free. Foods we ordered(burger, salmon/shrimp salat )are also very tasty. Price is reasonable. Self-check out billing with scanning the QR code on the table is also very convenient. The dining environment and atmosphere are nice and comfortable. Good for a short snack:)

Maybe it was difficult to judge as it was a Saturday lunch. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Buy the promised text did arrive to say table was ready. Staff very good but I've had better breakfast/brunch ingredients. Have eaten lunch and dinner which gave been better.

Nice meal pre a show at the Corn Exchange. Loved the bohemian decor. Food was delicious...we had fish pie and burger. Great cocktails. Good price for Cambridge. Disappointed that they didn't do Mac n cheese as a main though 😊

Bills is a central restaurant. We were a party of 10 and were easily accommodated. We paid separately using the QR on the table. This made it so easy to deal with the bill, and it even calculated the tip for each of us. I ordered a Moca that came with a chocolate flake. The ultimate brunch burger - 3oz - was very thin and much smaller than the bun. The cheesy chips came in a separate dish (the cheese is a cheese sauce). The restaurant is very large, but there was still a que to get in, I'd recommend booking.

I wanted to have a good breakfast and here I found it. I had a very complete English breakfast with two fried eggs, bacon, toast, etc. Too bad I didn't take a photo of it. They have a wide variety of breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Highly recommended, attention and service of 10.

We love Bill’s restaurants in general as they are dog and family friendly. However, this was first time we stayed at their Cambridge branch and the experience was far from what we expected. The service was rushed, staffs lacked hospitality training - they squeezed us with a toddler and small dog under the staircase on the way to their kitchen. My chair was constantly knocked by staff on their way to and back from the kitchen and no one apologised even once! We asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed, they said yes. Once it arrived, it was clearly from the cardboard. When we raised the issue the waiter said it was squeezed somewhere else not by us! 😳 No apology for giving wrong information. Overall, the place was overly confused, laud and messy!! If you are looking for a relaxing place for brunch or lunch it is not a place for you!!

VERY RUDE SERVICE!!! been there a few times so I have some complaints piled up 1. staff were in the way talking and saw me trynna pass by but they stood there didn’t move an inch 2. Staff threw cutlery on the plate making a loud noise , kept a straight face and left without apologies 3. Staff puts his hand in front of me standing very straight without saying a word expecting me to hand him over the plate! not even paying effort bending his back, when I did so he didn’t say thank you , this HAPPENED TWO TIEMS 4. Staff chased me and accused me LEFT WITHOUT PAYING when she ignored me the whole time so I had to pay with another waiter 5. You can feel their attitude when they serving you Food much worse than before ,been there multiple times but order seafood linguine every time, and for today it taste plain like paper. Definitely not recommend!!!

Breakfast menu is too egg-centric. Doesn't take cash, which could be a problem for some. Other than that, fine, but very limited choice if you don't like eggs. It's like the Monty Python spam sketch.

Food exquisite SERVICE absolutely awful. And no customer care or focus. I think as customers we deserve a little better.

I come here every now and then but unfortunately I think it’s slowly gotten a little worse each time. This time round I felt cheated of what I bought. I have added some photos to describe this. I ordered the “big” brunch. They were generous with the mushrooms, potatoes and tomato but everything else felt scarce (probably to lower costs). The baked beans were incredibly small in portion. I also ordered “smashed avocado” which was neither smashed nor entirely avocado. As seen in the photo it was chunks of avocado mixed with leaves which I felt was to hide the lack of avocado. For £16-17 I was left still pretty hungry. Also happy to tip for the service but 12.5% is pretty high for a single person table at 11am. Also don’t take cash anymore which is pretty frustrating. At the end of the day… I would’ve happily paid more if it meant I actually felt like I got what I should’ve (a “big” brunch). Unfortunately won’t be returning anymore.

Delicious English breakfast . I just didn’t like standing on the doorway for more than 5 minutes alone,and place was not crowded at all at that time. Everyone saw me there. I was only one person and felt unimportant. But nevertheless my rating is high , all other was ok.

Great gluten free options and dog friendly. Had a really good offer when we went where kids eat free. Although they "forgot" to take off bill so always double check before paying (which I thankfully did) hence one star off for service.

We had a really good meal at bills, peak time Saturday night 7pm. It was super busy, but food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals, especially the burgers. Only complaint was being put opposite the doorway, where everyone entering looked at you eating and a chilly draft from the door being opened. Definitely will be back, as their menu has changed a lot since I last visited years ago. They offer a wide range of veggie options, which other establishments seem to fail on. Veggies are really are spoilt for choice, well done bills coming back soon.

Great bustling atmosphere, it seemed half of Cambridge were in here! We went Saturday lunchtime and definitely needed to book. Chicken shawarma was tasty, the waitress was super friendly and great. Only negative is they want you to pay for your bill on your phone using QR code, but the WiFi was very slow - happy to do this but only if there is decent Internet!

A birthday dinner with husband, son and his girlfriend. 3 of us are vegan. I think more options would be welcome. I had aubergine fritters which were ok but a bit bland. Main course vegan shawarma much better. Bloody Mary delicious and wine options fine. I didn't eat dessert as my son brought a vegan birthday cake and candles. Staff efficient and very helpful.

I was drawn in by the beautiful decor and buzzy atmosphere after planning to eat somewhere else. People obviously don't come here for the food. I ordered eggs Florentine. There were a subtotal of 2 spinach leaves The Hollandaise had a distinct beige mayo concoction look and taste. An absolute sacrilidge....Two perfectly poached eggs and buttery smashed avo...had that poured over them.

I WISH I COULD RATE IT HIGHER!!! absolutely insane!!! the aesthetics were stunning, and service from Louis was impeccable, friendly, polite and more than accommodating. GIVE THIS MAN A PAYRISW!! THE FOOD… was amazing as always!! the char grilled chicken was lovely, and we could of had endless pots of the calamari dip. THE DONUTS ALWAYS SLAP😜😜 i will continue to return, as soon as possible!!!

Came for dinner with my girlfriend. The food was really nice and had a lovely evening out. The waitress Harriet was really helpful with her recommendations of the food. My burger was great and fast.

Came for brunch at the weekend with my family. The pancakes were amazing. The staff really knew a lot about the menu as we had a lot of dietary questions for one of us. Amber was really helpful with this. We will definitely be back!

WE LOVE BILLS IN CAMBRIDGE! We took advantage of the BOGOF offer at Bills, and once again we had a super delicious meal with excellent service. We had the Bills classic burger and then the Triple Chocolate Brownie and Pina Eton Mess Colada. Elliott was amazing and the service from all the team was excellent. 😊👍🏻❤️

Weird experience tonight. Asked for tap water for the table. At the end was surprised to find “still water £4.95” ok the bill. I queried this and the waitress said she asked me if I wanted still or sparkling, that is correct but I wanted my tap water so it t the tap, ie free. She started to argue then thought better. I was refunded but then saw the 12.5% service charge they had snuck in. I of course asked them to remove this but 5 mins of faff was the machine begun so I have up, said don’t worry thanks anyway.

The brunch was good. The venue was nice. Service was OK. Coffee was a massive letdown, though. Modest sized latte and both the latte and cappuccino were luke warm. Coffee is an important component for a breakfast outing, so a major let down to an otherwise good breakfast. Will try elsewhere next time.

Bill's is a great informal restaurant, whether you want a snack or a full meal at any time of day. The signature dish is the Bill's Burger, but the menu goes far beyond that.

First time I'd been to a Bill's. Couldn't fault it really. Food was fantastic. Don't agree with the 12.5% service charge though. Halloumi for starter. BBQ burger with bourbon for main. Banoffee sundae for dessert.

Bill's once again hit the spot perfectly!! Great decor and the atmosphere is always friendly/relaxed.Staff are very friendly,happy and helpful and the greeter at the door made us feel very welcome! We had the wonderful breakfast,which once again was so tasty,filling and wonderfully presented!! Great value too, which in these hard times is a bonus!! Delicious food and fabulous service,that's what's Bill's is all about!! Thank you!!

Celebrated my friend’s birthday at Bill’s this morning and we ordered breakfast and coffee. Food was very good and service is excellent ! The waitress (her name should be Harriet as shown on the bill) greeted us with a beautiful smile and serviced us professionally. After the food, she brought to my friend a surprise - a birthday dessert with a sparkling candle that I pre-ordered when I made the booking online. My friend was surprised and happy and we had a wonderful time today. Thank you so much again Harriet ! For sure we will come back to Bill’s again :)

Such a disappointing visit to Bill's in Cambridge. 1st Jan 2024. Now, we are grateful and appreciate that Bill's was open on the 1st of the year, when we went for a birthday celebration. But it was a total disappointment. The greeter / front of house was so grumpy, and clearly not happy that he had to deal with the public. The restaurant was not that busy, yet we waited almost 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Or waiter wasn't too bothered and managed to drag her self back to us as we were finishing our meal and 'almost' asked if everything was okay - we couldn't be bothered to explain that the food was cold when it had arrived. Overall I left feeling mugged, and vowing never to return. Going out to eat is SO expensive, yet in most cases the hospitality you receive here in the UK doesn't justify the expense. Such a shame because we love the look and ambience of Bill's, and maybe we chose the worst day ever to visit... but that isn't an excuse for poor, unfriendly and slow service, and cold food.

It’s not the first time we’ve been to Bill’s, but definitely the last, it doesn’t get better. Service was slow, not something I mind, but when it arrives lukewarm and the avocado mix tasted strange as if it had been left with other food items in the fridge. Over all a very expensive breakfast.

Louis was GREAT! His service was through the roof, very welcoming and chatty, will be back alone for his service - GIVE HIM A PAYRISE, the food was exceptional and was affordable, can’t fault the place 11/10 stars for me. CANT WAIT TO COME BACK. 🤲💪🫨

Dinner with the besties. Was the first time I’ve been and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Atmosphere was incredible, service was welcoming and Louis was brilliant, super friendly. Food was amazing, will definitely be coming back asap. THE RESTAURANT OF 2024!! 🥳🥳🎊🎉

Nice atmosphere but below average food in my humble opinion. We had eggs royal and they are just ok. In Cambridge you have much better ones at Fitzbillies. Again, personal taste. The place is nice, it feels modern and hipster. Also 12.5% service charge feels quite predatory.

I’m glad I read through reviews before I went. Like another had said, the pancakes were very dry (I brought my own syrup/ Nutella/ whip cream to add to them). The service was good and timely, but I wished the food were piping hot when they served it as opposed to just warm. The bacon I liked, the eggs royale (eggs Benedict with salmon) was alright, I brought my own tobasco sauce to flavor them more spicy. The bills big brunch was also, alright, but for the price it could have been more filling. I also wish their was a spoon on the table and not just a fork and knife. The lemonade was good.

Great place for brunch. Family had the full breakfasts in various forms and I had eggs royal, delicious! Service speedy and friendly.

Food was OK, not as good as our last visit and some interesting versions of what was listed on the menu, very small prawn starter, not sure where the smoked salmon mousse was for example but the service was excellent

Very lovely from the outside. However, the tea pots and water bottles were dirty and the staff very rude towards us, would not recommend this place at all.

Another great time at Bills. This time for a mini birthday meal. Place was buzzing yet not to the point where you couldn't hear eachother speak. Staff very attentive. As it was the weekend the menu was slightly smaller and didn't have the fish pie I wanted however without asking they checked with the chef and it was fine. The fish pie was amazing. Staff so attentive. Had a lovely time

Speedy and pleasant staff. Friend enjoyed her vegetarian burger. Only one sea food dish on the lunch menu being seafood tagliatelle, however it was very tasty. Also a very good cappuccino. A pity they automatically add 12 and a half percent service charge.

Oh my, last visit many years ago. This time did not disappoint. Love a bench seat, find them most comfortable (tick); service spot on excellent by the lovely Harriet !! All staff very attentive, smiling, fast. My partner and I had lovely fish pies with side order spicy beets. The side order hot beetroot, feta cheese, bean shoots, few seeds I think, totally yummy, needed to order this part twice so tasty. The fish pie, loads fish and large meaty prawns, mash covered with melted cheese. Peas in the beautiful white sauce. Piece of fresh lemon. Amazing. We had coffees. And water for the table. Highly recomended. Cant wait to revisit xxx Thank you

We had brunch and it was amazing, the staff were friendly and the food fantastic. The only downfall is that we were having such an amazing time, we went over the allotted time. Next time I'll make 2 bookings, one after the other to get more time there.

The staff are young, very pleasant and attentive. The food is very tasty but the portion size is very small so I feel £15.50 for the chicken dish I had was overpriced. Unfortunately the dessert portions are small as well. I can’t remember leaving a restaurant before still feeling hungry. This restaurant also does not accept cash which was not explained when we booked the table or when we ordered our meals. There is just one small sticker on the door as you enter.

Always a great experience from the time we arrive. We have visited recently during half term for a lunch time meal and as ever children are really welcomed which is lovely. Burgers were great and served in a good time. Love the friendliness of staff and their acceptance of noisy families / children. We really love the warm welcome and very happy environment…smiles from everyone and that makes such a difference. Thanks for a great lunch in the middle,of a long and busy day 😍

Great food, I had the hippy bowl which was delicious. Because I can't do chilli the waiter advised that they could take off the beetroot, which is marinated with chilli and add more butternut squash. It was very tasty (I've tried to replicate it at home but not the same). Definitely recommend.
