Visited for a Sunday roast and an afternoon pub. Afraid the meal left a lot to be desired. Undercooked sausages, beef which felt like it was tinned, carrots likewise tinned. Roast potatoes fried for an eternity. However, price was good and service more than acceptable. Was only a limited menu also. Shall not alas be returning.

What a disappointment - we went to the pumpkin patch with 3 grandchildren. The activities there were not well maintained, on the Mini Tractor Trail the tractors would not move due to being placed on damp lumpy grass, the Spooky Mini Golf had definitely seen better days. We paid an extra £5.99 per child for Chocolate Apple Dunkin when booking online which consisted of a very small apple on a stick which was then dipped in chocolate and sprinkles

Table for 4 booked for 730pm. Arrived promptly but put our order for dinner but 3 of our orders were already sold out at 730pm! My goodness, what will will eat they did not have any back ups, and our party had to make do. Come on we booked early in the weekend, and they were not full then, why had they not put extra away in case of over orderring? I do not think this restaurant will survive, come on, they were not even even full!!

Excellent pub. Good food which exceeded our expectations. Great service from the lady behind the bar. Let us order despite us cutting it fine near cut off time just before 2PM and even allowed us to add desert. Warm and welcoming with roaring log fire. Ideal if you are visiting Hickling Broad nature reserve at the end of the road. We look forward to going back in the future.

We had a party of 9 of family and friends including a little dog for the Sunday carvery. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated us in the bar even for a large party like ours. The food was delicious and plentiful and we had a great time in a very friendly pub with even the little dog making new friends. The exterior of the pub probably needs some work to make it even more welcoming but we had a great experience at a very good value.

Warm, cosy, friendly service. Served the pork belly whilst my friend had the salmon. Vegetables were well seasoned, gravy nice and thick and the pork belly was cooked well. Only downside was the speed of service was a little bit slow so the food did not come out piping hot but overall a good meal

So disappointed, booked online, but when we got there they didn’t have our booking but not a problem they found us a table, we ordered nachos to start for a sharer which wasn’t too bad but our mains was awful I had sausages with bubble and squeak, I had to send it back because it was cold and all in all I just only eat one out of the three Sausages because they were quite tough and the bubble and squeak well it was edible. The sister pub the Wilfred Bridge you cannot fault it, maybe I should’ve just gone there.

Cold restaurant, rubbish service. Staff spent more time on their phones and chatting to each other. Steak pie and fish and chips were nice. Crumble was not crunchy, very doughy! Visited for years as my dad lives locally, will be looking for somewhere else in future!

We came here for Sunday lunch with the family. The restaurant was nice inside, service was a bit hit and miss, not really sure what was going on as all the staff just seemed to be chatting behind the bar. The food was ok, I had the ribs, but they was hard work and the meat didn’t fall off the bones. Not sure if I’d return here

On our first night in Great Yarmouth we wondered into the "Marine" looking for some food. The Pub was quiet, and all the Staff were genuinely friendly. My Wife has Gallstones and is waiting an Operation so has to be so careful what she eats, the Staff were able to adapt a Prawn Salad for her, which we appreciated. I'm a huge Pie guy, and I chose the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie, which was a bit special, and I can't say I've eaten many, if any better. It's truly delicious. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely meal. Definitely drop in and try the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie.
