I absolutely loved my visit to The Anchor today. The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. The pub was beautifully decorated inside and out for Christmas while Christmas classic songs gently played. The staff were efficient and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this delightful pub.

On a recent trip on the Norfolk Broads, we happened upon The Dog and had some lunch. Nice welcome and really good food! The Dog Menu was a particularly nice touch, bought some treats for the pooch, which she loved. The food was so good that on our last day, on the way back to the boatyard, we did a little detour and returned for another meal. Highly recommend, will definitely return! Thank you.

Bar staff were lovely, entertainment was great, atmosphere amazing. The only issue we had was with the very young member of the security staff who thought it of vital importance to tell me off for not smoking in the outdoor area when I went to check on my friend who was smoking, but had no reaction whatsoever to her being physically molested in front of him moments before.

Came for food after being in city we were greeted with a smile by Louise who took our order asking if we had any specific dietary requirements or allergies, We didnt have carvery on this occasion opting for something from the main menu which was cooked to our liking. Louise got us the sauces requested and left us to go and serve other customers before returning to check all was ok and to our liking and leaving us to enjoy the rest of our meal. Louise was busy during our visit clearing tables serving customers but she remained smiling throughout. Thankyou !!

As a regular visitor I felt compelled to praise what they do for others to enjoy. Firstly, convenient location, always free parking available if dining. Friendly welcome by staff. Relaxing, comfortable and spacious restaurant with large glass windows allowing plenty of sunlight. Menu is comprehensive and very reasonable prices. Food arrives quickly and cooked perfectly. Everything is super clean (a standard that many restaurant chains don’t seem to uphold). On my latest visit, Ned and Savanna served me and provided excellent customer service. We needed to make a change to one of the dishes after we had ordered and they saw that it was no problem. As you can see, My family and I highly recommend The Rising Sun.

It's been a while since we visited the Half Moon, not a great deal has changed but none the less it was a nice visit. Usual friendly faces behind the bar, food still very nice. It would just be nice to see the re-vamp get underway, this poor pub needs it.

Looking forward to warm friendly pub for a casual drink/meal. Walked into a morgue, no heating, all three fires unlit, radiators cold, empty apart from staff, obviously didn't stay for food. Sadly another pub about to bite the dust. Would give no stars if it was possible

Known this pub for a number of years and a number of various landlords and had been disappointed in the past. However we hadn’t really been back since the end of Covid and another change of management, that is until yesterday! 19 of us to celebrate a family birthday, mix of adults and kids from 2-15 all having Sunday lunch. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating, the pub was really busy but all our meals came out together and was the best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a pub for a very long time. Nothing was too much trouble, they let us have our own birthday cake for dessert, supplied knife and plates and we had a lovely time. All roasts were huge and really tasty and I can recommend the added cauliflower cheese! Roast chicken was fab, the beef looked good too and good servings of veg and gravy. Thoroughly recommended!

Myself and partner visited The Bull for a pub lunch and was greeted by the lovely barmaid Sarah whose hospitality skills were outstanding. Sarah was so professional and helpful and guided us through the menu and also asked about any allergies we may have. Our experience was outstanding and the food was amazing. My partner enjoyed the salted pepper squid for his starter and the buttermilk chicken burger for his main. I had the king prawns and chorizo for my starter which was delicious and the hunters chicken for my main. The service was outstanding by Sarah and we will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you Lyndsey and Jason

Jordan's mill used to be a lovely, friendly place to visit. Summer was a good time to go as the outside seating area is stunning and overlooks the stream. However, over the years, the service and atmosphere has steadily declined. We enjoy going out regularly for a coffee and a snack, and used to love visiting Jordan's café, but sadly, not any more. They change their seating plan with regularity, so you are never sure what the set up will look like the next time you visit. The vibe amongst the staff is not good and they give no sign that they actually enjoy their job. What has been most disappointing for us however, and has lead to us choosing to go elsewhere, is the coffee and the elderly member of staff that serves it. The coffee is often warm at best and you never receive a full cup. I have often been tempted to complain at what I perceived to be short measures, as the coffee level is always some distance away from the top of the cup. This particular member of staff can be very abrupt, surely and rude if you she takes a dislike to you. She also has an attitude that implies we should be grateful that she sees fit to serve us at all. A real shame.
