The best restaurants in East of England

Wow 🤩 this place gave me hope about all the doom and gloom with staffing in hospitality! A visit to The Park at CRC All the the floor team were training to become chefs and mostly 17 years old. All had character and personality which is so important in our game. On to the food 3 course set menu for the special grill night ! Our options were the tigers prawns and baked Brie Could not fault the prawns 🦐 or the Brie just a bigger potions yum yum 😋 The mains salmon steak was on point and seasoned perfectly the pee purée with caramelised onions was very moorish. The rump steak 🥩 was another well cooked dish with some good old fashioned chips. Desserts Chocolate brownie on point again Personally I really liked the lemon tart zesty and paired with the orange sorbet and the lime crisp was cool garnish Well done to mark there tutor. Ps I think the cash tip surprised then

Great pub with brilliant live music evenings

Rubbish. Ordered through food hub. Travelled to go pick it up at 9pm get there and it's closed. Says open untill 11pm. Refunded by food hub that will probably take 3 weeks to come through. First and last time I use food hub or that place.

Unfortunately we didn't get try try the food here. We were the only people in the queue at the till ready to order... a few tables seated but not busy, two women making coffees behind the counter completely ignored us, one took something to a table, came back and continued to completely ignore us. So my friend and I looked at eachother in disbelief, and walked out. A simple "hello, bare with me a second, I just need to make these drinks" and we'd have happily waited longer. It was such poor customer service. Rude!

These days, why would you go to a pub when it doesn't do food? The only thing that would encourage me to do so is if it was a very good pub. Luckily, this is a GREAT pub-I absolutely love it. It's got owners who immediately make you feel at home, a wonderful, welcoming, droll crowd of locals, lots of different entertainments (music, quizzes, various special events) and a characterful old building, lovingly restored and comfortably furnished. It's warm and lively -like the ideal of the perfect English village pub. On occasion, they guest some excellent local food-but it doesn't take that to bring people over the threshold. It's ALWAYS a pub well worth visiting.

These guys never disappoints me. Excellent quality and quantity with extremely competitive price 👍🍱. I’d say best in Haverhill. They are actually kabab king 👑 aha

I visited bakeaholics and got a gift for birthday we were very impressed. We ordered postal cookies and they look fab!!!

Amazing food, fast and friendly service. I can’t enough of the pork giro wraps, they’re a banger! If ever I’m driving by I’ll park up across the road and grab one to go. They hardly ever make it home as I just eat them in the car. Highly recommend.

Great Caribbean food. Simple and tasty. Well worth a visit. Curry Goat was lovely and Jerk Chicken was great

I am no stranger to "Willow Tree" but even I was pleasantly surprised when I had a Mussels, Fish and Chips and a crumble sweet. It was simply spiffing, and exceeded any anticipations I may have had. My fellow dinners had the Liver, and were equally delighted. Well done everyone at "Willow Tree".

Turned away at the door after booking way in advance and kept waiting for a table for almost an hour. Terrible service almost ruined Mother’s Day

The shisha is insane. Beautiful flavours, definitely will return
