Splendid Shanghainese food! The best Chinese restaurant in Cambridge in my mind. I regard there as my second college canteen. I recommend the pork broths best! I order this twice a week. It is a magic restaurant of comforting my stomach. I will come in particular when I feel vulnerable in my health, and the food here help a lot.

Overall disappointing experience unfortunately. We sat down and promptly ordered drinks and food and weren't served drinks for over 20 minutes. The food came out later and spice levels were mixed up but we didn't have the time or energy to ask for the food to be remade. The rice bowl was unremarkable for the price. We would have saved time and a lot of money by simply going to Wasabi or Itsu.

My favourite restaurant in Cambridge !! Especially the roast duck on rice, can’t recommend enough. Service is lovely too.

Amazing food. We had the pork and egg on rice, roast duck on rice (my favourite dish) and the scallion pancakes which were all so delicious. Portion sizes were perfect and we left with a full stomach. Service was great and very quick, I have zero complaints!

The best Asian food you can get in Cambridge !! I have been fortunate enough to of travelled a lot of Asia and this was everything I’ve been looking for since coming back. I had the duck udon noodles and the mixed steamed dumplings. It was one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time, with incredible service to accompany it. Many thanks and I will be back !

We're only in cambridge for 5 days and we've come back to eat here for 4 days out of 5. The vegetarian duck noodles are superb. This restaurant is a hidden gem!

Had a selection of dishes, with a large number of dumplings. I had ribs on rice which was delicious, meat falling of the bone. The shredded chilli chicken was also very good.

We live near London and this restorant has became the soul reason for us to travel to cambridge at least once a month or two. Iam big foodie that travels around, but this small place has trully stolen my heart

Entramos sin reservas y parece que nos atendió el propietario del restaurante, ansioso por sentar a la gente rápidamente. El restaurante parecía ocupado y pudimos ver platos para otras mesas saliendo lentamente. La mesa a la que nos llevaron no estaba preparada, pero todavía estábamos sentados. (Tengo que decir que es un pequeño restaurante con unas 20 tapas) Estábamos bastante hambrientos así que seleccionamos las cosas que queríamos que podían salir bastante rápido para apreciar nuestro hambre cuando la camarera vino a tomar nuestro pedido. - Mientras esperábamos que se apagaran las luces del restaurante y nos dejaron en el tono negro, hasta que las luces volvieron a encenderse, seguido de una alarma de sirena en el fondo en el restaurante lleno de clientes que parecían perplejos! - Después de algunas confusiones de lo que está sucediendo platos muy lentamente salieron después de esperar 45 minutos - La comida llega pero solo 1 de los 3 entrantes que pedimos vinieron. (los 3 entrantes son platos fritos para agregar que todos tienen aproximadamente el mismo tiempo de cocción y método por lo que deberían haber llegado al mismo tiempo para que todos compartan en la mesa. Añadiendo sal a la herida - ¡Sigue sin cubiertos ni palillos en la mesa para comer la comida caliente! Me levanté teniendo que recordarle a la camarera y ella me manda a la mesa sin que ellos digan que los traía, seguido para mi sorpresa trajo algunos platos cuando solicité cubiertos/palillos claramente viendo que ya teníamos platos laterales. ) Para hacer otro punto la mesa de al lado comió allí comida y mesa fue despejada y preparada añadiendo palillos por lo que en este punto podríamos haber sido presentados con palillos si la camarera mira a nuestra mesa que estaba en 600 mm al lado de mi mesa. Nos quedamos muy sorprendidos con el 1 entrante que llegó, apenas con ensalada/guarnición y sin salsa para mojar. por lo mucho que pagas por este plato nos quedamos decepcionados. Con un cargo automático del 10% por servicio en cualquier cosa, decidimos que no podíamos esperar más para que nuestros alimentos llegaran casi 1 hora y 30 minutos, ya que cuando se le preguntó dónde estaba el resto de la comida, ella cortésmente dijo que traerían uno por uno mientras terminábamos de hacer cada plato, lo que no tenía sentido si todos pedían un entrante y 1 persona solo recibiría a la vez decidimos cancelar el resto del pedido. El peor servicio de la historia... estaba emocionado cuando entré y totalmente decepcionado cuando salí! Después de una hora completa y 45 minutos me sentí perdido el tiempo y muy desalentado de incluso probar la comida! ¡El dueño del negocio no hizo ningún esfuerzo! Gran error creyendo que el menú tenía algo que esperar, probablemente gran parte de él se congeló al escuchar otra mesa a nuestro lado que cortésmente ni siquiera lo tocó. ¡Una cena de muy mala suerte!

Food was amazing, I ordered the spicy beef & lamb soup with rice which had amazing flavour to it and perfect amount of spice, my boyfriend ordered the pork belly on rice which he also really enjoyed. Deep fried prawn dumplings were very “meaty”. Desserts were amazing too, our fav were the steamed custard buns. Will definitely be back.

An absolute favourite. My girlfriend took me here the other night. Very friendly atmosphere and really good service. Food is authentic and the flavours are exquisite. I'll be visiting again soon with friends! Its like having a chinese auntie and uncle cook traditional meals for you :) I think I will be working my way through the menu. Thank you for a wonderful experiance.

Steamed dumplings were amazing! I got 71 and 75. 75 was the best, didn’t love the prawn ones but I’m not a big fan of fishy tastes. Overall I recommend trying this place out!

This is the best dumpling restaurant in Cambridge city centre. I can't express how highly we recommend the shredded chilli chicken and the dumplings! They are AMAZING, DELICIOUS, and OUTSTANDING every time we visit!

Authentic Chinese food and soy drinks.

Dine in here at least 4-5 times with friends in addition to takeaway. Authentic food (I am Chinese) and unable to find any equivalent alternative in Cambridge. Highly recommended and will definitely keep visiting again. Suggests to try their fresh soya milk, scallion pancake, pork belly rice and dumplings! It’s a pity that they do not have food delivery service (dine in/collection only), otherwise, I would have ordered food from this place more often.

One of my favorite restaurants!

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The waitress was rude and blatantly racist. As a Chinese customer, I felt completely unwelcome. It's disappointing and upsetting to see someone treat other races with more respect than their own. If you're Chinese, save yourself the discomfort and avoid this place.

Best dumplings i’ve had in Cambridge (as well as the stall at the market square!) The service was exceptional, the lady who helped us was extremely friendly and efficient. The ambience is very homey but very clean! Will 100% be returning again :)

I had the beef and lamb in spicy broth, it was unbelievably delicious! Definitely comparable to a Bib Gourmand Michelin restaurant! I would definitely recommend it!

Gran pequeño lugar para dim sum, recién cocinado y servicio rápido. Teníamos las albóndigas fritas mixtas, albóndigas al vapor mixtas y albóndigas de cerdo con una olla de té chino entre dos de nosotros, que era justo lo suficiente. El lugar estaba ocupado.

It’s ok but dumplings are a mix of a few homemade and more frozen package that you can buy at supermarkets. Definitely, buns are from packages and then microwave before putting into the bamboo baskets. Not impressed by microwaved cooking style. There are a few better places around.

Great welcoming place with very high quality dishes. Absolutely love the udon soup with duck and the hot beef shin is great. The soup is delicious and very warming. It's a perfect place to go for lunch or dinner and you will never be disappointed. Perfect comfort food.

I had several dishes to include several orders of dumplings and the spicy sliced beef soup noodles and all were amazing! I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. If you love dumplings you’ll love this place. If you love spicy dishes I can’t recommend this place enough. Genuinely a gem in Cambridge.

The food was delicious and fresh!

Thought we would try somewhere different to in Cambridge, so did a Google Maps search and Your Dumplings came out with good reviews. The food itself was really not too bad and quite tasty. The service was so slow though with dishes taking forever to come out which was the main disappointment. Would I go again? To be honest I probably would.

Tiny shop with the absolute best food! Soup dumplings are why we drive up from Stansted. The spicy Udon is spicy whilst the Wonton soup is perfect. I always want to try new dishes but I can’t veer from the tried and true!

Restaurante chino muy recomendable que sirve una gran variedad de comida china. Vinimos dos veces en 3 días; una en pareja y otra en un grupo de 9. La comida fue excelente en ambas ocasiones. En particular me gustó el vientre de cerdo con huevo sobre arroz, costillas de cerdo en sopa de fideos, albóndigas (fritas al vapor) y albóndigas de manzana de postre. Caldo de pollo cocido lentamente, corcho de cerdo con arroz y fideos de caña de ternera eran geniales también. En general, este restaurante es una visita obligada si usted está ansioso por la comida china. La dueña es de Shanghsi y era muy amable también. El restaurante es pequeño, así que ve temprano para evitar ser rechazado. Es posible reservar.

Un gran restaurante HK - lugar de estilo. Precio razonable con un menú pequeño pero perfectamente formado. Este era un gran lugar para venir para una cena en solitario - yo estaba sentado en la ventana y pude ver el mundo pasar. Me di cuenta de que hicieron una oferta de albóndigas y café por la tarde - sin duda volvería para esto!

Authentic Shanghai taste! The three fresh shrimps taste great 👍 very delicious, the ingredients are very fresh, the dumpling wrappers are so elastic and chewy ~ the soy milk is freshly mixed in and it makes a difference!

The hot black sesame soy milk is fresh, fragrant and delicious, the scrambled eggs with tomatoes and rice are as delicious as home-cooked in the home kitchen, and the old bone soup is delicious as home.

A single teabag in a kettle for two - no taste at all. Long waiting times, two identical orders were delivered with a gap of 10+ minutes. Every person had to eat alone while others were waiting.

this has to be one of my favourite restaurants. even though its pretty small, i always have a lovely experience here and the staff are quick, efficient and treat their customers nicely. there is a button to call staff over if you need help so you dont need to stand at the register or anything and instead they will come to you. the menu has a lot of selections to choose from and lets you know its temp/vegan by the colour of the text. their chicken dumplings are always on point; definitely a personal recommendation from me, and their ice milk tea tastes like no other ive ever had! im always ordering those two. if i was able to rate this restaurant out of 100 instead, it would get that 100. dont miss out on a chance to come here!!! the prices ranges to about 15£ per person. usually about 3 people getting 3 things each finalises to around 50£

Delicious food! Very authentic Chinese cuisine with amazing dumplings. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the owner is very polite and friendly! This place has now become a favourite of mine in Cambridge with frequent visits!

Super friendly late night service. Quick, tasty and full of flavour! We had tea, shared fried pork dumplings, steamed pork dumplings and pork bao buns. My hubby ordered the hot & spicy #115c beef noodle soup. There was sooooo much delicious flavour in the broth. This place is clean and fast. Definite recommend!

This noodle dish is simply bad. It’s made with instant noodles and even tastes worse than regular instant noodles you buy at a random grocery store. 0/10

Delicious dumplings, very good service.

Genius cooking, proper Chinese without the excesses in salt, umami and sweet so common in UK restaurants. The dumplings are top notch but there are plenty of other traditional and modern dishes. Reasonably priced and with friendly service. Great for couples, friends and families.

4.5 not perfect but homely. 2nd visit with friends Xiaolongbao is a little dry inside. The dough is perfect, so I would suggest adding a little more broth jelly to the filling. At present it’s better to have it as grilled soup dumplings 生煎, which I remember was fantastic though different from the mainstream. Spicy beef shank is decent. Not spicy but nicely seasoned. Scallion noodle 蔥油拌麵 should have more fried scallions from an orthodox Shanghainese point of view, although it still tastes good with the light soy sauce flavor (and I know my mom would be the kind of person to order scallion noodle with less scallion :3). The pork rib is well cooked and tender. On the sweeter side it I won’t quibble. Waiting time can be quite long because it’s a husband and wife kitchen. The price is of good value and food is still worth the wait. Roast Duck udon also looks fine, while the spicy seafood bowl maybe a little artificial according to my friends— well I’d always stick with Shanghainese dishes here (｡ì _ í｡) —— Enticed by the shop name as a Shanghainese and finally found my opportunity to visit after meeting my supervisor. Soy milk does have a toasty scent of fresh ground soya. 生煎 grilled dumpling is different from my expectation. The bottom is nice and crispy and the filling is homely, not too oily, and gently flavored. However, unlike the fluffy (boazi-like) dough I remembered, this one has an unleavened skin like regular dumplings, making it more like grilled giant soup dumplings with thicker skin— on the brighter side, since they are able to grill a giant soup dumpling, I now have higher expectations for soup dumplings 🤔️. (*some might say it resembles the unleavened thin-skinned xiaoyang grilled dumplings but these are way better than the chain’s greasy filling.) A nostalgic and lovely aroma wafts out of the kitchen. Food needs time but it seems to be made to order. A hearty wife and husband shop indeed. (May I offer to help ☺️ Looking forward to coming back with friends (to share more large dishes) or after supervisions :> A little pricy but it’s in Cambridge not Shanghai and memories are priceless. (The chairs at the bar are a bit too low for the petite me😅

A hearty and authentic Chinese meal, would recommend! Braised ham hock was flavourful and came with a big portion. Steamed pork dumplings was nice but could be juicer. Spring onion pancake was crispy and the spring onions were very fresh! Salt and pepper chicken was well-fried and packed with flavour.
