Lovely team there who are very welcoming. Usual selection of drinks and snacks. Nice place to relax and meet friends. Recommended.

I just popped in here for a pint after a long walk. Very good barman, excellent ham cob for only £2.50! The regulars were really friendly and helpful too.

Very good excellent service. Food was lovely and portion sizes huge. Best roast dinner i have had in ages and fish and chips excellent.

Went for breakfast and ordered the sausage sandwich and added bacon and a hash brown. I enjoyed it but was disappointed I couldn't have a muffin breakfast deal as they were not available. My other friends left alot of theirs due to it being cold and the wrap one friend had was hard and unpleasant. Sure it's not always that way and mine was good so hopefully a better experience next time.

For as far as wetherspoons go the Samuel Hall is a really nice pub. Experienced staff who have been there a good while keep the lines well, the venue clean and the patrons safe. The food usually comes out to spec

All staff were friendly and helpful and the doors was great. Sam the waitress was very attentive and friendly and nothing was to much trouble for her. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Nice pint in the sun at dog friendly boozer with rated grub.Sister pub The Plough across the road more basic and in a way better.
