Good atmosphere, with sports and music.sudden price increase although the budget kept prices the same. No wonder pubs are closing. £6. 15 for a pint and half or 10 bottles of Sol from Asda for a tenner you do the Math. But saying that not the dearest pub in Sawley.

Just had a couple of beers there, the staff were very friendly.

Joanne who work behind the bar has a massive caring hart who really gets to know th customer she tailors to the every need and is a lovely genuine person .Takes time to know you every need xx

The place has soul music.and various bands at weekends.Nice seating area at the Rear of the pub.and BBQ Area.Also the place does Meals.on different days so best to check first.

Great pub with a friendly atmosphere. Plenty of seating with screens dotted around for easy watching. Good selection of different lager, beer and Cider, along with pub snacks. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming and there was a nice amount of people out on a bank holiday weekend without it feeling crowded. Would recommend.

Very warm bar staff , have only had drinks here a few times and the clientele seem very friendly and it's got a quiet you get crowd as far a pubs go.

The staff refused to serve me a drink on Friday 8th because I have a foreigner citizen card ID. I said it has been accepted every country I have been to and she said “we’re not in the EU anymore”? Completely out of order.

I had my first visit here, and had a few drinks and laughs with my sister and brother in law. I thought each pint i had was very good, and the atmosphere was very good for someone that's not a regular

First time visiting with friends three of us had steak and one had gammon we all had a great meal. Hats off to the chef! and the staff friendly. We will be returning

The food is great, the beer isn't bad and the meals are good. It is such a shame that every weekend the loud music permiates the local area so that you can't get any peace from it

Went there after football tournu.ment for 2 nd year well organised and hard working staff .very hot day kept supplying drinks ..also models with entertainment one word brilliant.

The bar staff are effective and there's room for a band.; summer time being even better because you can sit outside and enjoy it too. The mens toilet needs refurbishment.

We came for a few drinks as a group of 4. They had a good wide selection of gins which is a go to for my group of friends, all sorts of flavours and for a really good price! The staff were lovely and we realised the pub did food! We didn’t realise this and we had already ate so we didn’t get a chance to try the food then but I will be back. It was lovely to sit outside with a drink having a catch up with my friends watching the world go round. Would recommend this pub for a drink or two.

Busy quiz night, good selection of beers. Sky sports, pleasant staff. But toilets require some updating.

Bright, clean and very friendly.

The staff are incredible, always friendly and inviting. The pub itself is cosy, and the addition of a jukebox is always a plus. Has regular events (including live music), shows sports, and has a pool table. Recently started doing good, which is delicious, fresh, and comforting. You can tell the chef uses a lot of love.

Nice & clean with friendly staff who soon get to know what drinks you usually have. The Abott ale is very good & other good ales also available so worth a visit. Plenty of sport with many tv's.

Best place in Long Eaton, some excellent local beers and a wide enough selection. Actual bar, staff, locals etc were totally sound. Would strongly recommend visiting if in the area.

Este es un buen pub para tomar una copa con los amigos viendo el fútbol. Probablemente no es tan buena para una escapada romántica para dos! Siempre me pareció el personal simpático y agradable y trabajador. Sólo me gustaría que el dueño haría reformas dome trabaja para el baño: sin duda retraso!

Nice pub, excellent location. Boasts 18 TVs - which tends to limit conversation. Food is reasonable pub food. Good size car park with tiny pub garden and tables roadside. They boast their real ales but oh dear! I bought a pint of Taylor's Landlord - one of the best brews in the country. Now, anyone who knows their beers, especially northern brews, knows that they need to be drunk through the head to get full flavour. Tea/wine/whiskey tasters always draw air in with the drink to fully taste. Not only was the beer served flat ( despite asking for a proper head) but the Landlord and staff were extremely rude and dismissive. Their whole tone was one of " we are doing you a favour - what do you know?" What I know is that I have drinking beers for 45 years and am quite capable of taking my custom elsewhere... which I did. There are two wonderful pubs further down the road 1) The Nag's head - a spectacular traditional pub and 2) the Harrington Arms - More (excellent) restaurant than pub but having a fine range of excellently served beers. If you want loud noise go to the bell. If you want a nice relaxing evening walk the extra five minutes.
