Really enjoyed the food. Staff and environment sat upstairs bar and in the centre of the town. Superb 👌

Not the nicest spoons, Staff were rather unpleasant and unhelpful except for one at the bar. Food was cold.

Good location, and a big place but was still hard to get a seat so obviously popular. I was feeling very warm upstairs where we sat, maybe air con needs looked at? Toilets weren't a million miles away which is surprising considering Spoons reputation for that haha. Came back next day for breakfast before I travelled home too

This place is massive and the few times I have been ots been crowded and yet the service is good by friendly staff. Food, I assume, is the same as all wetherspoon pubs as I have not ordered food there yet. There are two floors and ànd there is also a bar upstairs . Young crowed mainly upstairs and crowded .Down stairs older people and regulars mainly.

I've been to loads of weatherspoons up and down the country! But Lloyd's in Leicester is by far the worst one I have ever been in. Firstly you can be kept waiting for ages to get served. Some times I feel invisible. Bar staff socialising with other bar staff even when customers are waiting for ages. Bar staff never ask if you want ice in you drink. They just fill the glass with ice automatic. Tables are left uncleared of glasses and plates for hours on end. Where other weatherspoons I've been to seem to run like clockwork. Quick reliable service. Tables cleared of clutter quickly. Lloyds the corn exchange Leicester. Diabolical.

It's probably the better Wetherspoon pub in Leicester, but that's not saying much with their controlling manner regarding what places are open or close to grab a table.

A good reasonable pub to hang out with friends

i went in monday 17th march, 2 lads had a fight over me and glass shattered on the floor and ended up in my shoe, alissia the bartender helped me to get it out and made sure everyone involved was okay and recommended i go home to keep myself safe so i’d just like to thank her and the other staff involved, morgan, vimbai, josh and jake. as for the pub always nice drinks and good atmosphere and always good service. cheap drinks, cheap food and good vibes!

I had eaten here before and the food was great.founx that it was cheaper after 2 pm .went in on Monday at 2 to try it out .ordered fish and chips.when it arrived it had been fried within an inch of its life along with the chips .fish had shrunk to a dark brown crisp with virtually no fish .the chips were dark brown and tasted like they had both been fried together for hours....pure fat....no lie it is now Tuesday evening and I have got the worst case of heart burn and acid reflux...threw up for hours last night and my friend has an upset stomach ..you know when you just know what caused something because every time you think of it ...I e bad dinner ,you want to throw up. Won't be going in at 2 again.also ,just a tip corn exchange...don't use old fatty oil,use more expensive oil and don't fry for hours...it was edible and I foolishly thought we got what we paid for...but I didn't pay for this....

Breakfast good value but never very warm.

I have a hidden disability and they have the disability wire tied to head height meaning anyone who falls or gets hurt can not pull it.

Love a Wetherspoons, always go here for one or two when in leicester, good food/drink/service, great prices.

The staff there was downright obnoxious, condescending, dismissive, and completely lacking basic decency. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. They seriously need to learn some respect instead of treating people like garbage.

The bar staff forgot about me and my friends order. waited 30 minutes before I decided to go up and ask if there was an issue. by the looks of it our order recept just got put down and left unfinished. the bar staff then finished up our pitchers and brought them out. other than that everything was lovely

Tenía 2 platos principales, una pizza y un envoltorio. ¡Ambos salieron fríos! Mi envoltura luego salió y cuando terminé la pizza salió y cuando lo hizo notamos que la masa todavía estaba cruda y viscosa! Pedimos un gerente y luego lo cambiamos a un pollo tikka, el gerente dijo que fuera rápido! Más de 16 minutos después no hay comida! Entonces nos quejamos de nuevo y obtuvimos un reembolso. Buen trabajo realmente porque cuando salió el naan estaba rancio y el arroz estaba frío, así que lo dejamos! ¡No volverás!

Quick breakfast. Found table. Queue to order. Great menu with lots of veggie options. Ordered vegan breaker and smashed avocado on muffins. Helped ourselves to Lavassa Latte. Food arrived within 10 mins. Veggie sauce was a left down and the muffin was cold. You get for what you pay. We had another of latte and left. All OK but will not be returning anytime soon

Horrible Wetherspoon's.Not used this place since upstairs was Legends in the 1980's.It's not appealing at all.The people hanging around outside put me off.Loved it back in the day as the Corn Exchange.Then again the whole area is grotty and needs a serious revamp.Better still.move the market to Humberstone/Belgrave Gate.

Met up with 4 friends for lunch today .2had the Jalfrieze curry, one of which was me . No Naan bread arrived at all and 2 poppadoms arrived half an out after the meal. No apologies at al

Visitando Leicester y ordenó el almuerzo de Navidad de Turquía. La carne estaba bien, pero la verdura era horrible. Zanahorias ásperas y muy duras con puré no muy sabroso. No hay brotes ni verduras frescas, pero un montón de guisantes. Prácticamente no hay salsa. Wetherspoons sigue siendo muy buena relación calidad-precio para el alcohol, pero me parece que la comida en la mayoría de sus establecimientos es de bajo nivel en estos días. ¿No entiendes por qué?

Typical Spoons pub so no need to offer anything other than that. Good service as used the app but omg the Bangers and Mash were a let down. Supposed to be Lincolnshire sausages - they had never see Lincoln. Pub was a little grubby as many of them are. Prompt service using the app. I know it’s cheap and cheerful but this was only the former and not the latter. Give it a miss would be my advice. For the pubs benefit I’ve added what a Lincolnshire sausage looks like - you are welcome

I was out with my friends last night when a woman called kelly came over to my friend and started accusing her of vaping up the stairs I followed her and explained she wasn’t vaping to which she started walking away from me and telling me To talk to door staff if I had a problem, to which I did and they were explaining that they can’t do much and kelly is in charge , I kept asking to see proof and all she gave me was her name, I called up and the girl on the phone explained kelly cannot show us security footage so she lied to me again there, as she said last night we could call up and gain this footage, ruined everyone’s night as we spent atleast £100 as there was over 20 of us and we all had to leave due to kelly making up lies. Do not recommend

kelly, whoever this is kicked me out after i bought a round for apparent “vaping” i didn’t get to finish my drink neither would she let anyone view the security footage to show i did not, she was incredibly rude to my friends and i and even laughed at us whilst we were stood outside trying to talk her, i would not recommend this place purely for this lady, everybody else was lovely but my experience was ruined by this woman trying to be the boss when really she’s a door staff😂

Really good use of an old building. Interior is industrial, compared to the old world exterior. Service at the bar was prompt, and using the app was quick and easy. Food is what you expect from the chain, but still served with a smile and warmth from staff.

Had the 'hangover' breakfast in here with our stag party. This is a really nice Spoons. The building is gorgeous, with a mezzanine upper floor with a bar as well as a massive bar on the ground floor. Decent staff and of course, the app works great.

Poor service from bar staff. You can stand in queue and staff move over to serve someone who has arrived after you. Need to keep eye on who is in queue. And make it so you only serve from front of bar instead of all three sides.

I recently visited the Corn Exchange Bar, and while I can’t deny that the place itself has a great atmosphere and is beautifully designed, my experience with the service left a lot to be desired. After waiting at the bar for a while, I politely asked a staff member if I could be served, only to be met with an unnecessarily rude response: 'Can’t you see I’m doing work?' I understand that everyone has tasks to complete, but a simple acknowledgment or courteous reply would have made all the difference. It’s disappointing when great venues don’t match up with the level of service expected. I hope the management can address this issue because the place has so much potential to be amazing.

Decent Wetherspoon's pub about ten minutes walk from Leicester Railway Station. Six cask beers on handpump when I visited. Plenty of outdoor seating. As the name suggests, the pub is located in a former Corn Exchange built in 1850. It is a grade II* listed building.

I have been cautious to leave this review but my experience is was truly appalling, for a start I saw 2 members of staff across from the coffee machines fending off flies that were hovering around drinks and sitting on “clean” glasses. The staff members were truly rude and un attentive to customers too lost in their own conversations. I over heard 2 ladies discussing their colleagues and being inappropriate regarding them. I saw a live cockroach crawling around the floor and several rats running around outside the front doors. All around a terrible experience would not recommend to anyone who values hygiene

The staff were extremely rude the entire visit. Constantly staring at our table. Took chips away from the table and it took them almost 15 to do anything with them. The same chips were then returned almost cold

It's spoons innit. About what you expect

Had a drink with a colleague after work. Good atmosphere, not so loud we couldn't talk. Surprised there was only 1 small screen for the football although that didn't bother us as we weren't interested

Lovely historic place for a witherspoons

Food Cold. Glasses Dirty. Knifes and Forks Dirty. Tables were a mess. Most had chairs missing. Unfortunately. Couldn't be bothered to complain about cold food. Did take my Pepsi back as it was completely flat

Been here a lot recently, a good spoons branch with a quick service most of the time.

We all know what to expect from a 'Spoons, but we also like to have a certain level, even budget. I can't fault this place. We used the app for table service which was very friendly and efficient and the food was really good. Nice surroundings, good food and a smile. It's a thankless task working in food and drink, but Wetherspoons should be proud to have such friendly hard-working staff here.

The Corn Exchange is the perfect Pub to start your night out, unlike other Weatherspoons Pubs the Corn Exchange has music and a happy, lively atmosphere. The service is quick and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've only eaten here once and the food was good ( not great, but nice enough ), maybe better on another day. Nice Pub to take a family to, easy access for disabled people and the prices are very reasonable 👍😃

A strong branch of Weatherspoons with staff which are attentive and largely on the ball, even at the busiest of times. Order via the mobile app (which is great, keep it) and trust it to arrive in good time.

Is a nice Wetherspoons. Lots of uni students so it was lively.

The staff were lovely and managed to keep up with the rush despite there only being 4 on shift and the security said my bag was cute
