Great pub good food and service Lost a star this visit It was good to be asked if we wanted condiments as food arrived and great to be asked shortly after if the food was ok But tables were not cleared in a timely manner Short of staff??? Our first visit to the Red Cow, it will not be our last. First impressions count and this did not disappoint. Brilliant atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, well kept and presented cask ale, and great food. I will now apologise to Sean, who must've thought 'we've got one here' when I asked to speak to the duty manager. I just wanted to say a personal thank you to the person running such a great service. Thank you all.

Sweet chilli fries are just chips with sauce on. Burger was just cheap factory made burger. Onion rings weren’t cooked properly. Just your average Tesco Coleslaw.

Always queues but could understand why !! very good chips with lovely staff , been here since 2021 , and they sell gravy up north because in london we rarely have gravy in our chip shops, the chips are so fresh ! Recommend

It's a nice enough Wetherspoons. Lots of students during term time as it's situated at the end of the road where the halls of residence are so it can on occasion be full of loud amateur drinkers cluttering up the watering hole.

Very welcoming from the minute you walk through the door, we had an excellent breakfast, we went for my sons birthday, the staff at Copper went the extra mile and even gave him a cake and sang happy birthday. Highly recommend.

Really enjoy coming here all year round ..lovely shopping experience with good range of products , practical and giftwise..can be a little bit pricey but we always find some good value items 😀👍

Staff are so friendly and the food is great, especially Sunday roasts. Paul is doing a great job.

Try to get in for a drink but seems like its close.

It was really bad, the food was horrible the service was dead, the burger was rare and the macballs were bad, the chefs outfit was horrible horrible with his spandex didn’t look professional at all. Not good would never go there again. People should have some decently in this place.

Came to the SH today following a recommendation from a friend. Cannot speak highly enough 10/10 food and service and would definitely return. The roast dinners are superb and the desserts are to die for. Can’t wait for my next visit!
