Clean and tidy, staff on point. No toilet roll though and it was only 11.30am

Great place and sensible prices , vegan breakfast £2.99 and nice not processed tin food , have footy on too , hard not to like !!

Wetherspoons is Wetherspoons but this one is the worst. The food was horrible.

Good food, great staff and a speedy service.. a few options of no or low alcohol (ghost ship 0.5 pale ale, none alcoholic gin and 0% Guinness).. a low alcohol on tap would be great 👍.. the spotlights over our table made me think i was on BGT 😎 though!

99p for a pint of Ruddles in 2025! How? Tbh... I probably don't really want to know.

Great visit and catching up with family

A dessert was brought over and left at our table before we had a chance to speak. With our friends also in the pub, we presumed they ordered it for us! The rude staff member then came over 30 minutes later, rudely speaking to us that it was not paid for although it was brought to us and left with no communication. We were then loudly spoken badly about to the table next to us, although we explained the situation that we thought our friends bought it for us and the staff member walked away from our table. We felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation and felt that the staff member was very rude, from the beginning of our stay with bringing drinks over rudely. It was an innocent mistake made rudely exaggerated, making our experience very unpleasant and leaving us to leave the pub immediately upset. I do not appreciate staff members loudly talking badly of me and my 2 friends next to us from a mistake. Would not come back purely due to the rude staff members

Went for drinks recently. Like any wetherspoons it is reasonably priced. Good atmosphere and good service.

£13 for breakfast and coffee for 2 as always affordable but idk what it was today but WOW the food was SO good??? Like hats off the to the new chef cos damn those eggs were gorgeous

Great place for a natter and a drink, busy at times quiet at times. Good reasonable prices. Often frequented by county council staff, who seem to get two hours lunch break, but don't let it put you off, there's several rooms. App table service is great, if you want to avoid the bar queue if it's busy. Also good meeting point for cricket ticket holders or city ground ticket holders.

Up from Hertfordshire visiting nottingham and found this wetherspoons and have to say what a great historical pub. Not just one for cricket lovers but also beer drinkers as it sold a good selection of beers and all reasonably priced. What made it though was just how friendly and welcoming all the staff were! 5/5 wetherspoons!

A very nice Wetherspoons, I have frequented around5 times now, with friends as a pair and alone and I have always liked it. Food it great, had a Tennessee burger yesterday and it seemed like it was presented with genuine care. The fact it has a lot of history connected to the cricket ground is an interesting point too. One side note due to the sportiness, sometimes the clientele isn't the friendliest with drunk people, it is definitely 1% of them though, it still massively reccomd

Been here a few times over the years, always a clean and friendly place to drink. We are for the first time and was very impressed with the service using the room at the back. They managed to service over a dozen of us at the same time.

A really good place for a drink, pub food or just a coffee. Most of the clients are friendly, well when they turn up. The food is normal Wetherpoon's standard, good value, quick service and good places to enjoy your meal and drink. No 5 stars as this is not an expensive plush pub but not far off.

Very friendly staff, food was nice and good value for money. Was a lovely stop at the end of a lovely walk along the canal, near to the cricket and football grounds. I spilled my drink and the barman quickly dealt with it like a star! Thank you 😃

Gave me the wrong order and put the same food on a different to try compensate. They had bean juice on them. Didn't make fresh food

Had a love full English breakfast love food at a great price

Nice pub with a very homey atmosphere. The location is also convenient if you’re staying on the outskirts of the city. However, one of the waitresses was aggressive toward us for no reason. My friend ordered an alcoholic drink but later realized he had forgotten to bring his physical ID. Yes, it was my friend’s fault. So, I politely asked if they accepted digital ID or, if not, whether it would be possible to refund the drink or give it to me instead, since I had my ID with me. The waitress responded in an unnecessarily aggressive and condescending manner, which completely ruined the mood of our evening. I totally respect the need for ID and understand that it’s their job to enforce that policy, and yes, my friend should have brought his ID. But was it really necessary to speak to us like that? Eventually, I did get the drink for myself, but seriously… couldn’t we have resolved this through a more courteous conversation? It was just this one waitress, though—everyone else was very lovely.

This place is awful. Not enough staff.three bars, and only the front bar staffed. Empty glasses and plates left on the tables. Funny it only seems to work when test match is on. If I were going to any venues in the area I would go to The Navigation, the nest , or meadow club!

Great prices, almost half the price of other pubs visited in the area. Staff are competent but wish they showed enthusiasm in their job, a smile goes such a long way.

Excellent breakfast at the Trent Bridge inn as usual

The TBI is a large pub with plenty of seating, but it does get busy on match days! (Football and Cricket) Good beers and food menu, and of course, you can order on the app! Toilets are on the level, so there is no need to climb stairs in this pub! The outdoor seating area looks out into the court in the cricket ground.

Compared to many spoons this was really nice! Clean and every beer available.

Standard weatherspoons, nice to find one where the toilets are not 6 miles away. Good links for the football and cricket.

The staff here are very efficient , service is and always has been very good , a fine example is set by the manager ( Philippa ) who's always hands on , never rests. It’s rare to see a manager so hands on, Credit where it’s due !!!

A typical Wetherspoons. Lounges are comfortable and there are 2 beer gardens. Lots of screens for live sports. Prices are excellent.

Very busy on a match day, but still able to get served ok. Food is not expensive, but is decent enough!

IV gone here for many years but must say that the food and service has gone right down hill over the past 6 months infact not been good in a long time the chefs/ cook can't even make scrambled egg on toast they give half portions this happens every time you order Iv sent food back nearly every time IV been here because it is always over cooked/burnt the staff couldn't care less attitude is terrible all are miserable no service with a smile ever very disappointed

We ordered scrambled egg and a Traditional Breakfast the Scrambled egg was over cooked so we sent it back, then it came back with the smallest portion of egg, only about 2 egg if that when it says 3 eggs on the menu and the tost was not even toasted, I ordered a side of mushrooms, and only got one, when it says on the menu 2. Not a good experience 😕

A good reliable pub for a cheap veggie brunch

Filthy, the place was virtually empty to start, only a third of tables had no empty glasses / dirty plates etc, 3 bars, only 1 serving drinks, you had to guess which one, bar staff wouldn't make eye contact or let you know they weren't serving that area, they must rely on football and cricket punters to keep going.

I ordered a chicken burger and chips and coffees at this large pub next to the cricket ground. My order was politely and efficiently taken and my meal was on my table within five minutes! Impressive. The meal tasted fine and the unlimited coffees were welcome too. Well done.

Just popped in for a half after the "hundred" finished - looks a great pub, with lots of cricket memorabilia on the walls, old players for Notts and more. Didn't have time to look around as the Mrs was picking me up - but will go again when in the neighborhood

Ordered a standard Weatherspoon’s vegan breakfast ( I think they are the best) and it arrived well cooked in about 10 minutes. Coffee re-fills free as always. Good value if not haute cuisine.

Disgusting that they would leave a 17 year old girl outside on her own at night without telling her parent. A patron had to find me to say she wasn’t allowed in when we live in a world of hate against women the 2 horrible men on the door thought it was funny would never go again

Crikey! I didn't even know this was a Wetherspoons! I tell yer what...This is by far the best value pub in that area, this area is usually proper expensive because its near the football stadiums, this Trent Bridge Inn is like a goldmine of joyous delights. 100% recommend this if you're in the area, banging value and they do food. Beware other pubs in this area are extortionate as they are close to the football stadiums...Trust me, go here. 👍

Famous pub next to Trent Bridge and close to Nottingham Forest's ground. If there is a sporting event at either of these it will be packed but in my experience service is still very good. Usual Wetherspoon wide selection of beers.

Great place for something to eat and drink before going to watch the cricket. The prices are brilliant and the food was pretty good too. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍

Shocking service. Overly pretentious staff fully entitled about their rights. Decided we were persona non grata with no reason. We had caused no problem but “had to leave”. Shameful Wetherspoons. Avoid

Great pub, great food and the app is a real winner. Steak night and curry nights are excellent value.

Often visit for breakfast here and love sititng in one of the booths. Always great value for money. Used to love the 'fiesta brunch' when it first came out. Used to get so much gucamole and onion toppings etc but last 3 times has been disspointing with egg being too well cooked and no longer poached and have really scrimped down now on the amount of guacamole you get. Will continue a few more times in hope portions will be better but thought it was too good to be true at that price. Good whilst it lasted hopefull will bring something else good out.

Breakfast menu states 2 hash browns, only 1 on both plates. Queried but not corrected. Bacon on large breakfast cremated. Rest ok. Nice coffee. Pub very quiet. Nice and clean.

Visited the other day, first time in years. What a dive. Stinky toilets. No atmosphere and barmaid with red hair rude and unwelcoming, slamming glasses around like she'd sooner be anywhere else. Won't be visiting again

Lovely neutral gastropub. Average prices for ok grub. Lots of space and seating areas. Decent folk come in to dine. Great for solo eaters. Toilets are good and staff great. Fantastically grounded compared to snot nosed West Brigford further down Central Ave.

Drinks were cheap but too packed when events are on.

1 pint only in here...but.not a pint. Serviced in smaller plastic glasses, prob less than 500ml and beer was RANK...WORST WEATHER SPOONS I've been in.
