My friends and I often got to Caffe Aurora and everything is always delicious and freshly made. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Today the Caffe surpassed itself with their Rhubarb and Custard Milkshake. Absolutely Amazing!! We’ll definitely be back for more of that!!😁 Jo, Toni and Yvonne 👍🏻

We went today as it was a special 'burger day' and we'd also had lunch there last week. The food is very good quality for the price and some items are clearly made in house. Service was excellent but they weren't very busy probably due to the weather. A bit out of the way but well worth a visit.

Lovely host, very welcoming. Visited with family for Mother's day. Beautiful food, good service and john was very friendly. Cant wait to get back there! Only down point was lighting in dining room, which we found a bit dark, but just a small thing. Wont put us off going back there. We all loved it.

What a hidden gem! Scotia and Lisa are fabulous hosts. As a family in a campervan looking for a stop over on the east coast this ticked a lot of boxes. Free stopover in their carpark if you buys drinks at the pub. They have an honest shop with all the bits you may need, milk, chocolate etc a washing up sink and washing machine. The pub had a great atmosphere, darts boad, and kids were made to feel welcome. We stayed over for NYE and the pub put on a small free buffet and kareoke. We also walked to the village hall that charged adults £2 entry for a kids disco and cheap drinks. The following morning we were offered a full English and a cuppa for £7. There is also an electrical point in the honesty shop you can use overnight for a charge of £7. Not much in the area but great for bird watches on the marshes or a cheap and cheerful stop over.

“Two teas and a pot of hot water please” (not to make it go further, just my wife likes very weak tea). The assistant replied “that’ll be £7.10”!!! I politely responded saying “I am not paying £7.10 for two teas” and walked away. I also noticed that a toasted teacake was £4!! Needless to say we won’t be going back.

Just had the most delicious afternoon tea ! It looked exactly like the pictures. Boxes on the table to take any uneaten cake home so you don’t feel embarrassed asking for them…..nice touch that. Service was excellent and surroundings were comfortable….Highly recommend……..we will defiantly book it again !

Amazing Yorkshire pudding with stew and dumplings. Lovely chilli with jacket potatoes and cheese. The food was cooked to perfection and served promptly. The cafe has been refurbished and is lovely and spacious. Served and prepared by a lovely couple. Very friendly.

Found this little tea shop and it looked lovely. Friendly service. Cheese scone was lovely, warmed in microwave. Sausage roll, also warmed in microwave, was very greasy; probably better eaten cold. Both appeared to be home made. Decided against the cake as only two to choose from; we were going to order the cake platter and glad we didn’t as £14 for two choices would be disappointing. Unfortunately the view from our table was of the kitchen. I realise that this could happen anywhere but to see it is not good- the man decided to sort the bin. He took off the lid and arranged the full bag, then added some more rubbish to it. Yes I watched intently to see what he did next. Then he picked up a tea towel and began drying cutlery and putting it away. He did NOT wash his hands. He then went back to the bin and moved it, with the tea towel in his hand. He then came into the eating area and took an order. He then returned to the kitchen to start the order. At no point did he wash his hands and he was still using the tea towel that had most definitely touched the bin. We left and however cute this place looks, we will not be returning. They need to look at their hygiene rules and routines urgently.

Love rumblings for a traditional filling English breakfast but they have other great things on offer as well as really nice takeaway rolls and sandwiches. Very friendly staff and great value for money overall

Excellent golf course and facilities. Lovely well appointed course in first class condition. A real test for golfers with some challenging subtle greens. Busy on a Saturday morning but well managed and other golfers a pleasure to be around. Someone has obviously thought a lot about how to create this outstanding facility and then invested time and money to achieve. Highly recommend
