Wow! Can’t believe we never visited this place before! Our first visit and we’ll definitely come back again. Called in last minute and got a table, got served delicious food and received a brilliant service. All boys that worked on Sunday afternoon were very friendly, polite and provided us with excellent customer service. All 5 diners enjoyed their food 👌🏻 compliments to the kitchen staff! Brilliant place with cosy atmosphere! 10 out of 10 🤩

What a polite response from staff and customers, Food was piping hot 🔥 Service was pleasant and warming. Would definitely be re visiting soon. Also Like there's raffle they have on the go for Easter.

The Lincolnshire Poacher is situated in a nice riverside position and is a charming old building. Although the beamed ceilings and white walls attest to age and tradition, the large areas of bare red bricks go really well with the understated, and almost minimalist modern decor that shouldn’t really work in an old pub like this - but does, and they have achieved a modern look with old-fashioned comfort. Service here was welcoming and very good, and the pub is run by a charming couple. We certainly enjoyed our visit.

Well done to all the staff at The Crown today a delicious lunch today. I had the Pork Chop which was cooked to perfection. Others had the crown burger and the nacho burger both fantastic. The cheesecake is always amazing, today’s choice was buenno. The bailies and banana trifle was excellent and I had plum crumble. We hope to be back soon

Great tasting food at a reasonable price. Online ordering makes things so easy with no waiting. Book your slot and collect at allocated time, no long queues.

We hosted a baby shower at the weekend at Penningtons and it was amazing. The food was so lovely along with the presentation. The attention to detail was so good and the ladies were so lovely. Really enjoyed it, thank you so much for your hard work on the day!

This wonderful hotel is a gem! The owners are lovely and we will definitely return. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Came here yesterday morning 13th November 2024. Firstly very clean cafe. Secondly very friendly and helpful staff. Had a sausage sandwich with 2 hash browns and a pot of tea. Food was delicious hot and fresh and the tea was delicious too. Thanks again will defo visit here again.

Went along for the Mothers Day Afternoon Tea. Very busy but we had reserved a table which was all laid ready for our arrival. A good choice of teas or coffee to start and then a choice of sandwich fillings. A bit later along came the cakes and sandwiches, all freshly made and presented on a double deck tray. Sandwiches scones and quiche on the lower plate and cakes on top. It didn't look a lot but we all left feeling stuffed. My wife and I often go in for a bite to eat, the staff are friendly and professional and the food is always top quality.

ok we are hear today a very nice clean place very large menu very good staff and the meals are quite big and hot with both inside and out seating and we will be back very soon no car park though

We have had lunch here probably once a month for some year, and enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere. The view is great, although I find the the chairs uncomfortable. This time there was a new menu. We always enjoy some salad with a panini or toastie or sandwich. However we were told this was not available - all these options are served only with crisps and coleslaw. Hardly a healthy option! So my husband chose a BLT; (bacon lettuce, tomato) ---- evidently they did have salad! We did not eat the crisps. My husband had a cold drink, and I had tea and I asked for an extra cup for him to have a little tea also. Not Allowed! I don't think we will return. There are other pleasant places to eat in Spalding.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast for a large family meal to celebrate a 80th birthday. We were in a function room on our request as there were 20 of us including 8 children. Nearest we’ve had to a home cooked roast dinner and no complaints from anyone. Service was fantastic once again with nothing too much trouble as we had a wheelchair. Very good value for money and highly recommended!!!
