The Crown Hotel (Holbeach) Ltd in South Holland

Won a voucher and went for lunch. From walking in the staff were smiling and very pleasant. We were shown a table and ordered drinks. We ordered the Lamb and mint pie and the steak and ale pie with mash and veg with gravy. Both hubby and I were very impressed, best pies we have had in a very long time, so much so that we asked to take some pies home with us which they sold us 4. We would definitely visit again in the very near-future. Well done to the staff and chef 10/10 from us

Amazing Food and Entertainment, highly recommend for small parties or family meals, went with my mum and we had a lunch meal and it was delicious.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Traditional, home cooked food in comfortable surroundings. Proper puddings too! Good service and reasonable prices-we'll be back for sure.

Had fish and chips from the smaller appetite range while my husband had fish and chips from the menu it was absolutely lovely the fish was white flaky and moist the chips were crisp and it came with mushy peas never had them before but would definitely have them again, it was the best fish and chips we have had for a very long time, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the pub is very clean and tidy, we will be having lunch or dinner again soon

Lovely traditional pub with a very well priced menu. We had lunch bin the nice friendly bar, staff were lovely and comfy seating spread around makes it feel homely. Scampi was lovely, well presented and home made chips. Friends had jacket potato and fish and chips, both said they were good. They also do a small appetite menu which is always welcome.

The menu itself of a burger and pint at £11 is a Barry bargain so was impressed by that. I ordered the beer battered burger and chips. Stunning. Simply stunning. Quality meat in the burger. A nice roasted bun and homemade coleslaw. You just can't argue with it at all ! A whole page of burgers to select from including a vegetarian option. Then a steak menu with meat sourced from a local butcher. Then a favourites page featuring pies, fish and even the ham, egg and chips. Even if it's your first time visiting you're made to feel like a local regular. Could not recommend more highly.

Me and my partner decided to go out for a meal here as the reviews seemed promising and booked a table in the restaurant area of you want to call it that ! It looked more like a dumping ground for the staff than a restaurant section , the food came out piping hot but over cooked and dry , also that night was very Ill throwing it back up! Would not recommend going here and won’t be returning.

Very friendly. No set routine, as in directing you to a table you may not want. A very friendly welcome. Can not do enough for you. Meals are piping hot - we had Fish and Chips. Excellent. Genuine concern as to you enjoying a good meal and good service - but not pushy. GENUINE. We return there many times. A rare pub-friendly atmosphere.

Just been and had lovely lunch in this great little pub. The young lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. Between us we had beef burgers, chicken burger and the pork and leek pie, all was delicious, and the puddings were great too, our only complaint would be we didn't particularly like the double cooked chips but that's probably more of a personal preference.

Never stayed in the actual hotel, however do go quite regularly to the pub. Very family friendly and always has the pub atmosphere we all love - laughing, chatting and getting to know people. Is always a good place to go no matter what time you decide to go. The owners and staff who serve at the bar are always lovely and extremely helpful. A wide array of drinks to choose from as well. Has karaoke nights and bands and lots more on certain nights. It’s located on spalding road at the centre of holbeach- so is a town favourite!! Has a pool table and a juke box which lets you plays songs for a very good value. Absolutely love the place. And furry friends are welcome as long as they stay on the lead!!! Recommend

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. A room with a bath - great. £50 per night. The most friendly staff and regular customers you could ever wish for. They could not do enough for us. The Chef is brilliant and the food is excellent. What you want in a Hotel with a pub atmosphere. We have rarely frequented such a friendly place with so many friendly people and obliging staff. We met with family members and made a Bee-Line for the Crown. The menu is varied and the food is always very hot.

We was very pleased with the Sunday lunch, the food was superb, staff very friendly, lovely old pub atmosphere, selection of meat and deserts, the cheesecake was just yummy, and to top it off a nice pint of beer, all at a very reasonable price 5* fully recommend

Travelling to Norwich to spend a seven-day break and The Crown was the halfway point. What an excellent choice, a very warm and friendly welcome, great selection of beers and a very good menu. We chose the Crown Burgers... beef burgers topped with mature cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion & tomato relish. Double cooked chips, onion rings and homemade coleslaw. They were delicious, beautifully cooked and well presented. The Crown was a lovely start to our short holiday. Highly recommended and we know where to break a journey in the future.

We spent a lovely evening in this pub whilst visiting the area. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Local sausages were particularly tasty, and hubby loved the Bailey's cheesecake. We will definitely be calling in next time we are travelling by.

Can't say enough about The Crown Holbeach. It's the first time we'd been back for food since it changed hands, we popped in for lunch. The food was fantastic. Sam was very obliging and helpful. Looking forward to going back soon. Would highly recommend.
