Food is great cooked to perfection. Not had a bad meal here and been coming for quite a while now. Very friendly and great service. Highly recommend 👌

Been to the restaurant twice as wanted an adult environment. Both occasions sat next to a large family with small children on tablets and a crying baby. Also next to the kitchen door swinging open all the time. My partner was also scammed through the pay machine last Saturday.

Called in without booking. Wonderful welcome and fabulous food and beer

Great local pub serving homestyle freshly cooked food. Great selection of ales and beers. Sports screens in the bar also. Will definitely be back.

Great place to dine, to have family get togethers

Superb, not many places serve traditional home cooked meals but this one is not to be missed, great selection and served piping hot, I chose liver bacon and sausage which came with roast and new potatoes broccoli, cauliflower carrots and peas, all covered with a delicious gravey, definatly will return.

Lovely meal for four today , delicious but drinks pricey

Just had Sunday lunch...the Steak and Ale pie. Service was fast, the 2 lads were fantastic. Food, which there was a large serving, was very hot and tasty. Good value for money. Would highly recommend

Best place to come for food no question about it. If you are ever in the area or just pasting though come in and try it you will not be disappointed

Lovely place to eat and spend time having a family meal

Only stopped for drinks and some nibbles, but the pub was spacious and clean and tidy, and the staff were very welcoming. Good choice of beverages (can't comment on wine). Would recommend!

A lovely cosy pub and restaurant. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them to deal with. The food was great throwing in a good pint as well.

Dropped in here for lunch rather than eat at Springfields. Great little place and so beautiful to eat overlooking the river. Onion rings are a must whatever you are eating. Great service and will definitely come again.

A lovely location next to the river. The food was average pub fare, neither good or bad. The staff were friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable for food and drinks. Parking is a little restricted, but overall a good experience. I would happily visit again.

I only collected my wife from here after a works meal. However I was asked in It's a very friendly environment and I am told the food is 1st class The moorings is in a fantastic setting with the river running directly behind the building My wife and I plan to revisit for a meal and a few drinks

Lovely pub in a good location, service was very warm and friendly I was incredibly impressed with the food, it was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes very fair Will have to visit again should I be back in the area

Lovely visit to the Moorings. Really good service and staff were friendly. We only had snacks, not a main meal and 5 out of 6 were perfect, the other one was a bit dry, we could have complained, but it wasn't that bad. The weather was nice but everytime somebody went out of the door they left it open, anyone near it got a very chilly draught. We would definitely go back.

1st class home made pub food Beef & Ale pie was delicious…served with new potatoes roasted potatoes & vegetables..

We can't fault our meal at The Moorings. All 5 of had different meals and all 5 meals were extremely good, hot, generous and tasty. Compared to other restaurants the prices were good too. We already booked to return as we were so impressed. 5 stars, we'd definitely recommend it!

Really enjoyed our Sunday roast. Good value. I had lamb and it was very tender. Plenty of vegetables. Roast potatoes cooked lovely.

Stayed in Spalding for a couple of nights 27th 28th January went and had dinner at the morrings two nights family run pub lovely staff and the food was excellent, would definitely go again.

Warm and friendly establishment

Very nice experience , would 100 percent go back again. Dog friendly , very cosy , great staff ,great food. Only missed a star because my chips were slightly raw and my daughters hot chocolate was more like milk. That's being fussy and wouldn't put us off returning

As usual the moorings provided a nice meal

It was my 1st visit yesterday. But despite a late request for a table for people we were accommodated. From the owner to all of the staff. Everyone was polite and courteous. I will definitely be going back. I wish everyone at the moorings a very merry Christmas.

Aardige mensen hier in deze Pub met een eet gelegenheid erbij. De gerechten zijn hier prima voor een goed diner. En je kunt hier gezellig zitten.

Food is good, but what gets me is the atmosphere! During Christmas, it's lovely inside. So cosy and beautifully decorated, and during the summer it's so nice to sit outside by the river! Always enjoy it

The moorings was very busy and nosy when we visited, so this probably clouded our experience a bit. On a different less busy day I suppose we would have given 4 stars for service. On a sunny day you can sit outside by the water.

AFTER 2 MONTHS WHEN LAST I FIRST TIME WENT TO THIS PUB WITH WARM WELCOME. NOW I HAVE MOVED TO SPALDING AND TOOK ALL FAMILY THERE . WE HAD DRINKS AND DECIDED TO EAT THERE. WHEN FOOD ARRIVED KIDS WERE CHATTING NEXT TO EACH OTHERS AND THERE WAS BARTENDER MAN WITH BAD ATTITUDE TELLING MY 10YRS OLD BOY OFF AND RESPECT THE RESTAURANT AND WALKED AWAY.. WE WERE VERY SHOCKED WITH THIS MAN WORKING BEHIND THE VERY RUDE . WE DIDNT EVEN EAT HALF OF OUR MEAL AND WALKED OUT OF PUB. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY FAMILY INSIDE THAT PUB AGAIN!!!!!

This was new experience as just moved to area. It was more spacious than I realised inside. Traditional lovely pub and wonderful staff. Had meal with my partner parents and they had nice time. Very filling good food. Nice variety. Would recommend laminating the paper menus. Clean and tidy but watch the door step into toilets. Small car park for few cars or on road.

Food wasn't great (apart from desert, which was good). One of the chef's kids or something was running in and out of the kitchen, which was a tad jarring.

We had the special steak and kidney pudding which was gorgeous. Portion size was big too. They did a non-alcoholic speckled hen which was great as I was driving. Service was friendly, and they have an outdoor seated decking which made for a lovely setting by the water. Dog friendly too.

Stopped off here for a quick rest and cold drink next to the river. Had the bikes with us and the staff were more than happy to get the side gate open for us to get the bikes in safe too. Friendly staff, felt nice and relaxed out on the deck, will definitely go back again

Really nice food, visited the Moorings last night and was really impressed, all freshly cooked and the view from our table over the river was perfect! The service could be improved on, but as the food was outstanding I drop a star!

Great food. I had roast of the day. Excellent 2 different potatoes 5 different vegetables loads of roast beef lean meat as well. 2 of my friends had the salmon and the other the garlic chicken. All of which were looked really good. The portion size is excellent. And I must say the staff are so friendly and helpful. Ready to have a laugh and a joke. I would give the moorings a 10.

Food very good and so was the service but £4 for a glass of lemonade was excessive. It would have been cheaper to have a beer but was driving.

Really nice food in a nice and friendly atmosphere. We had surf and turf, oh those lovely garlic King prawns! You can sit inside or out on the terrace by the river

Had a lovely meal here this fathers day. Was impressed that there was also full menu for those who didn't want a roast. Roast lamb was very good and lots of veg an extra slice of lamb would have landed 5 stars.

A pleasant stop off on our way through, sat outside overlooking the river with a cold drink. Food smelt good. Friendly staff.

Lovely meal twice but female member following time was rude n insulting to partner n colleagues which was unjustified n refused to serve them n still continued to insult when colleagues partner phone to ask why again was insulted very uncalled for n unjustified n she should be dealt with by management appropriately

Lovely little spot, exstencive menu, great experience when asking for starters that hadn't been deep fat fried, had Black pudding and scollops with bacon starter was extremely tasty, Main was Salmon and fresh vegetables. Salmon was a little over cooked for my liking but was very tasty and a good mix of vegetables, very good portion of food, Bar lady was very pleasent and looked after us very well, will go back again.
