Having seen the new Tapas menu online we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed, the only difficulty was deciding which dishes to choose from the extensive number of options. We chose six dishes between us, which was ample. Each dish was beautifully cooked and presented. In addition to the quality of the food the service was excellent. All in all an excellent meal at a reasonable price. We will be visiting again soon..

Nice welcome. Good choice of ales and wines. Home cooked food. Steak pie & gravy were outstanding. I would have preferred home made chips rather than frozen. The haddock had a very light batter which didn’t look great but it was really nice. Made a change from heavily battered fish. Staff friendly and efficient.

Been here many times before but stopped after the staff were extremely rude. However been back recently and food and service very good. Went last night, food still good, food served in a timely manner but staff not very attentive. 4 Staff stood around the booking in area, behind a pillar and were having a great chat all the time we were there. This necessitated visits to bar to get drinks, sweet order plus bill. Sadly poor, spoiling a nice family gathering.

We visited with my parents and children (aged 8, 10 and 12) and we were all very impressed. Staff were friendly and professional, they checked for food allergies and were happy to make adjustments as required. The food was superb: the Desperate Dan, Fish pie and salmon all highlights. Also one of the best rhubarb crumbles I’ve tasted! The Yarborough is quite a find: a lovely welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. We will be back!

First visit today. Local to the area and what a fantastic place. Had the breakfast and it was extremely good. Was a wait for the food but was definitely worth it. An absolute gem and the staff especially the lady who served us was so lovely. Full marks food and service

We had been meaning to visit this village pub after a friend had recommended it. The 'Eat Out' discounted scheme gave us the main reason to give it a go. The starter of tomato and basil soup was steaming hot and delicious, served with crusty bread. I was offered mackerel salad and was not disappointed; delicious served with a bowl of new potatoes. Hubby was served a rather large beef burger and cheese with a side of chips. He has a hearty appetite and it was more than enough for him. The service was warm and friendly, without being intrusive. Had we had paid the full non- discounted bill, we would have been very happy at the price. Listening to the staff taking bookings this is a popular pub You can sit outside or indoors for meals I could see the walled garden, which looked very inviting. I think this is well worth another visit .

Visited here on a very busy Friday night. There were 2 tables of 10 people celebrating birthdays, this never impacted on the service, but made it very noisy and we did struggle to talk to our friends. Food was good. Chicken liver parfait to start was tasty with plenty bread. I had the mahi mahi main course, very tasty well cooked. Good selection of wines. We had a drink in the bar afterwards and it felt like an oasis of calm after a very noisy restaurant.

We stumbled across this gorgeous little cafe when our intended cafe was too full to accommodate us. It’s lovely, I liked the interiors and the staff were friendly. My coffee was lovely (although a little hotter than I’m used to). I had the Cherry Bakewell cake and that was lovely, full of flavour and very sweet, gluten free too if I remember rightly. Cute little find.
