Decent place, don't know how long we would have had to wait to be served with drinks, nevermind food, if we hadn't ordered on their app. Food was good.

Food was late and it was not even cocked properly I was verry up set because this is where we all like to come just feel like it has gone down hill a bit but hope it gets back to how we all like it and they are also leaving food on plates on table for gone half hour and walking past the table when they can relay take it with them to the kitchen

Nice enough. What you expect from a "Lounge". Feels a bit cavernous though with the decor. Garlic parmesan fries were a bit m'eh.

So close to 5 stars, food is a bit pricey but they have great offers at lunch time

Wow. What a great find for lunch today. Husband had Goan Lamb Curry which was delicious. I had an incredibly tasty Chimichurri Brisket Burger. Beautifully cooked by Chef Sam and excellent customer service from our server, Keeley. Thank you both. Great to see some very different things on a menu. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Saw this recommended on gluten free website. So glad we gave it a try whilst in area. Fabulous GF selection with a full Gluten Free dedicated menu. I had the GF Lounge breakfast, delicious with good quality sourced products, even the GF bread was nice. Food was served promptly and really hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who is GF, I noticed they had a good vegan menu too. Staff were very welcoming and vert pleasant

Had soup and a sandwich at lunch, credit to Lance the chef the soup was so delicious, I highly recommend giving it a go.

Nice food great staff service and a lovely atmosphere staff were polite and helpful. Drinks were very prompt and refreshing. Shall visit again.

Love it here, the tapas is amazing.. Introduced my friend to it today, the service is good and fast and lindsay is a delight, happy, warm and welcoming.

This is probably the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. What chef can’t cook a steak med rare, this one for sure. Sent back. The second not much better. Please tell me I don’t ever have to go back

Recommend as a must try... So we did. Very rarely do I leave reviews, but this place deserves one. Service was friendly, and even though the place was busy everyone made us welcome. To be fair I wasn't expecting anything special, it was a typical pub style menu with interesting choices. The food was lovely, well presented and far better than pub fair... I will return, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to anyone. 10 out of 10

First visit today. Even though it was busy (Friday lunchtime), the staff were friendly and efficient. The HUGE menu offered something for everyone I would say, and our food was absolutely AMAZING. Well worth the money. We will DEFINITELY be visiting again and highly recommend.

Met the family for brunch. Food and service was good plenty to choose from from the menu. The children's area was a bit lacking today and our grandson was concerned about the dogs nearby. However we will go again.

Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I can remember. From the moment I walked in, the FOH just looked and said someone over there can help you whilst just standing doing nothing and pointing vaguely towards another area of the restaurant. No greeting, no smile, no interest. I then sat near the bar and literally spent an hour and a half listening to the staff complain about how bored they were, how customers were idiots, how much they disliked other members of their team, swearing every other word and telling each other how tired they were and desperate for the customers to leave (at 9.15pm on a Tuesday night)! They either aren't trained, or are not motivated by the leadership (team leader on the night was one of the worst culprits). I rarely write a review on poor service, but this was on another level.

My chicken was a little dry but everyone else food was delicious

Brilliant restauraunt / café in the middle of Retford. We were served exceptionally quickly by the friendly staff, and the building is really pretty and clean inside. All rounded off by great food too, oh, and if you're a dog person, you'll likely see a few around as this place is dog-friendly!

Lovely food and great surroundings

Good food at a reasonable price. High ceilings mean it's a bit echoey at times but that's probably because I wear hearing aids.

Rhondo .. its like being home.. Were here at least 4 days a week for coffee and breakfast. The staff out outstanding and so are the food and drinks. Lyndsey had become a friend to my Grandaughter who loves coming in to play in the wonderful children's corner. Simply Rhondo and all it's staff are like a family and you feel it when you walk in.. My favourite place to go in Retford.. Well done guys Xxx

Dropped in as an impromptu idea. Children's menu along with the adults food and drink meant we could have a family evening. Toys, crayons, colouring sheet all for the kids so the adults could relax too! Tapas. Order 3 dishes each and share, would be my advice as they are just a nice size to do that with. That was this visit, at other times we have had burger and other main choices. Quality has always been the good and the service whilst perculiar to Rondo's is good; when ordering via the weblinked table QR code. You can order at the bar if required too, I've done that in the past.

The staff at Rondo's were friendly and welcoming. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime, reasonably busy restaurant, the service was timely and very efficient. We chose from the Christmas menu. The food was well cooked and nicely presented. Well seasoned and tasted good. One small observation on the plated food, it looked rather dull, could have benefited from a "lift" in colour in my opinion. Rondo's was a great choice for a seasonal get-together. Thoroughly recommended. Well done to the team at Rondo's.

Although the premises are a bit austere the food and service is 5 star. We've just been for a family birthday celebration (5 adults, 4 children) and had excellent service from the staff and the food was top notch. Highly recommended. 🙂

Absolutely love this place! Great choice of so many different dishes. Everything I tried there is very fresh and tasty. Tapas are the best. Cocktails are good and service is always friendly and quick.

Been here two times now onetime in the day and early evening,good glutenfree menu reasonably priced aswell, always feel a little bit cold might be the high ceiling.

Quick pre theatre meal and drink so we had not pre booked. Greeted by lovely friendly member of staff and able to choose our table as it was very quiet. Large varied menu, and we all chose different options . Food was average, but the staff and decor lovely so would return for drinks .

My partner and I really like Rondo's in Retford, however, the price of the drinks has recently increased with the pint I had (Brixton Reliance Pale Ale - Owned by Heineken) costing £5.95 which is quite frankly exorbitant, this isn't London. Unfortunately, we will be taking our custom elsewhere in the future.

The Hotel I was staying only did a continental breakfast, wanting something more substantial, so I went for a walk and found Rondo, breakfast was freshly cooked, and hot also the staff were very helpful. I went back every morning for breakfast during my stay in Retford

It was a solid 4 stars from me...staff were great....our hound was welcome inside + treats / water available....it was busy and bustling so it had a nice buzz to the place....my only 'meh' was the food available ( this is purely a personal statement so please don't take offence ) but it was a bit ' standard fayre pub grub ' ? 🤔 Overall though a good choice of venue to take the family for lunch.

Our first visit to the Rondo Lounge and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely lovely place to visit. Relaxing, fab decor & ambience. The menu has so many choices & the food we chose was yummy. Cocktails spot on too. We ate on Monday 21/8/23 evening. The 2 girls working that night were top notch..Casey & I think Emma?.. Happy & smiley...quality service &they had great knowledge of the menu. 😊. Tips also on ordering of what complements what. Excellent. We would highly recommend a visit. Thanks for a wonderful meal & fun evening out. Will visit again when in the area.

The food was delicious, and the service is always impeccable, we were served by two wonderful staff members, Casey and Libby, they both went above and beyond for us and are a credit to this restaurant, thank you so much to the staff at Rondo Lounge!

I love this place. The beauty of the interior and the amazing music played is wonderful. The food is delicious and all the staff are amazing people. Highly recommend for people looking for a nice cozy homely feel with an amazing meal to match.

Me and my friend had brunch here this morning and was amazing! Caters well for people who are gluten free, with a massive menu! As someone who can’t eat out a lot due to my dietary requirements it was refreshing to find this place. Massive thank you to the girls on this morning, they made our visit amazing, I think they said their names were Casey and Lola, nothing was too much trouble for them.

I’ll start by saying tapas food isn’t my favourite food so I wasn’t blown away by the menu, but I was happy to see what they had to offer. I ended up going for the fish finger sandwich with a side of spf. Whilst it may have been one of the nicest sandwiches I’ve had, I really didn’t think it was worth the money. I found the place to be nice, but overall I think it’s overpriced. I have been in a few times but the coke is cheap ‘rola-cola’ and again not worth the money. Churro dessert however was very nice, again overpriced but tasted nice.

I've eaten here a couple of times. The food is really good and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The staff are professional and welcoming and a couple on the next table to us were playing board games (available to use), which I thought was a nice, quirky touch. Really nice place, I would definitely recommend it.

Had a lovely lunch here with my wife and stepson (the current Mayor of Retford!), plus our labradoodle Alfie. The staff were very attentive, the service and food were excellent and it was lovely to be able to just walk in with our dog too. They cater for our canine friends and it's a very dog friendly establishment, with water and biscuits provided. Loved the quirky décor inside and the relaxed atmosphere - would highly recommend it!

1st time visit, for a light breakfast, very nice venue, attentive staff, food served was perfect, will visit again ....

Really nice bar/restaurant. The staff were lovely they really looked after us. The food was great. We had the tapas between the two of us and it was lovely. My little girl had Mac and Cheese. It came with a drink and some hummus with carrots and bread sticks before the food came out which kept her busy. The decor was really nice and the building is stunning. Would definitely recommend. Also my little dog loved the sausage they brought out for him.

Works evening out early doors straight from the office. Lovely building and decor. Pleasant staff on arrival . Food I felt somewhat let down had the Bang bang chicken food just warm very dry no sauce to speak of. Requested more sauce given four egg cup s ( 4 of group had the same meal ) of watery sauce not as described. Drinks very nice I suspect would be great place to start an evening. Would return but not to eat

Went on a Monday tea time very quiet, food reasonable good, service a little slow but only 1 bar staff and 1 waitress on. Price reasonable would recommend a visit if you are curious about it.

Wow!! What a find this place is! Huge menu with something for everyone, straight forward attentive service in a stunning building and fantastic value. It was that good we went back a few weeks later for my birthday meal.
