We visited here on Tuesday after it had been recommended by some locals. We weren't disappointed. I had steak, which was succulent and cooked to perfection. My mum had the honey glazed salmon, it wasn't a huge piece but she enjoyed every mouthful and the...

Sunday lunch was excellent with the beef really tendor, veg nicely cooked and delicious gravy. The mince pie was equally as nice. Took slightly longer than I'd hoped as I was starving but it was Sunday afternoon. Also the fruit machine was quite annoying but...

This was the first time we have eaten in this pub. We enjoyed every bit of it. Really nice meal and fabulous desert. Big tasty chips. Reasonable size menu, not so much to overwhelm you with choices but certainly adequate. Staff cheerful and helpful. Cosy...

There has been a very welcome change in Landlord since our last visit. New Landlady Angie was very welcoming along with bar manager Sooty. It is obvious they have gone to great effort to make positive changes to the place. The roaring fire and Christmas...

We had heard the pub had changed hands and had a new chef so thought we would try it out. On a quiet midweek evening there weren't many people dining but the pub was obviously still a popular place for locals to have a drink...

We found this place by accident, going 'off the beaten track' on a road trip. A proper village pub; warm welcome, cozy friendly atmosphere, nice and relaxed - but the food is superb; the chef really knows what he's doing. Traditional pub fare, everything home...

Food ok ish for the price. Dingy and smelly inside. This place needs a major refurb if its to be a success. Everywhere felt slightly sticky and smelt a bit musty. Very pokey inside and definitely more of a local than somewhere to visit.

Set in a nice rural location but with good access on a main through-route, this pub is your typical old style village pub. The decor is a little out dated but the new owners have done so much already to transform this from a tired...

We recently had our wedding at this venue. I can honestly say we could not fault a thing. Elizabeth and Beth was extremely accommodating of our requests and made sure the day run extremely smoothly. The food was beautiful and wedding guests dietary requirements was all met. The venue and grounds are fabulous. A large group of family and friends joined us the next day for Sunday dinner to continue to celebrations, staff accommodated our large group and the food was lovely once again.

First visit and it was great. Had the grandchildren and they loved the play area. Staff were very relaxed with small people bobbing around. The breakfast was very good and additional coffees ordered arrived promptly. Well done.

Absolute gem which we are thrilled we found. Good easy parking, fabulous menu of truly home cooked foods. Wide drinks list Beautiful inside with level access and patio area all over looking the run way. Staff friendly and efficient, dog friendly outside although when wind is high ( like today ) the patio is closed for safety which is fully understandable. Will definitely return if we are in the area
