Mums's 90th suprise birthday get together 🥳 A fantastic venue and our own area which made it even more special. There was 21 of us and the room was ideal. The 3 course meal was amazing! Great value for money. The staff Bill, Hattie and Karen were superb 👏 thank you! Some of us stayed overnight and the room we had was really clean and comfortable. No breakfast available here but is available a short drive into Ullesthorpe. Altogether a brilliant venue and would recommend this for a personal function.

Headed out for a day trip with the family and remembered visiting this place on a an ale tour so stopped in for food. The menu was fantastic with everything looking homemade. The value was really good too and my daughter got to pick her own pizza toppings. The sun was out so we sat in the patio area and just enjoyed the afternoon sun. The pub is dog friendly as well so our Labrador got to enjoy some ice cream too.

I stayed here on Saturday night and was given a gorgeous room, which was met over my standards! The food at the pub was delicious I really did love my freshly cooked pizza. The football was playing that night and followed with some entertainment (karaoke) which was lovely! To see a pub so interactive with the locals and holding entertainment, It was great to hear everyone having fun downstairs and enjoying themselves. I think this pub is an amazing place to stay with amazing food/ very very clean rooms and very friendly staff!

I popped in for the live music on saturday with my family for a few drinks only expecting to stay for one or two. But we stayed for HOURS. The young lady singing was amazing and the two girls behind the bar were lovely and joined in which was brilliant and very brave! I had a great night and i know my family did too. Keep it up guys will be returning again soon!

Me and my partners family attended Saturday night. The football was on and after was entertainment by a singer Zoey. The bar staff were welcoming and really nice. The entertainment was amazing, she had people getting involved and we were all up and dancing. Even the bar staff were getting involved. Such a fun night, will definitely be attending again!

Upon arrival we were sent to a small reception office to speak with a young lady about getting our keys and showing us to our room. As I popped my head in the door the young lady was just taking an inhale on her vape, which she obviously felt very embarrassed about and had no choice but to exhale the cloud of vape awkwardly into the corner of the very small room. She then took us upstairs to our room and advised there would be no food that evening as there was an event on. This was disappointing as it was 8pm and as we weren’t advised of this prior to arrival we then had to replan at short notice. We arrived during the football and noticed right away how very noisy it was in that room, however we understand the football was on and it’s a pub so it was absolutely understandable that there would be some noise during the football. Once the football finished though, the entertainment started and that was another level of volume. It was karaoke with people screeching into the microphone. The bed was vibrating. The noise level hit 100 decibels in the room. We went downstairs to ask if there was another room we could be moved to only to be told nothing could be done. No ear plugs to help no suggestions of any kind of remedy. We asked how long it was to go on for and were advised 11.30-12 ish. The room being directly above the function room was also right where the smoking area was and the window had been left open, so by the time we arrived the room smelt of cigarettes. There were biscuit crumbs on the carpet and the dust around the room was a few mm deep in some places. I was very surprised about this considering all the other really positive reviews. I reached out to get their feedback and did get an apology and an offer of a free meal for two, however I did already advise that we were 5 hours drive away down in Cornwall so this suggestion was really pointless.

I work in Lutterworth but live in Lancaster and need accommodation near the office once, twice a week. I wanted a change from the usual boring hotel chains with their soulless rooms. How lucky was I to find the Chequers Country Inn less than 10 minutes drive from the centre of Lutterworth. Located in picturesque Ullesthorpe, the Chequers Country Inn offers a warm welcome from the team. My bedroom and en-suite were spotlessly clean and had all the facilities I needed for a short stay. The food in the bar area was delicious, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced and a great selection to choose from. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I'm delighted to have found my new home from home. Already booked in for next week. Highly recommended.

Was originally going to Mill on the Soar, but it was closed, searched Google and it came up with the chequers country pub, so we went there. Wow, I was not disappointed, as soon as we came, big smiley face at the bar to get us, lovely young lady, very friendly with a personality, which I personally find rare. I am one of those people that don't like to be ripped in a pub, and to come across this pub, which was luckily by chance, was fantastic. Meals were cheap and in must pubs. Your looking at £16 to £18 a meal, this was £10 a meal. I was a bit weary, of what I would get for £10 as you don't get much for £18 in some pubs, but I was shocked with the amount of food you got for £10, even ham, egg and chips is £7, excellent value for money at this pub, outside seating area for the summer, big car park, looked very pretty from the outside, and proper country pub on the inside. My wife and I have already said, Family meals out are going to be here from now on even though we live in Nuneaton. Again the 6 foot 1 lady behind the bar was fantastic, felt like I knew her for years, I wasn't happy though when she stood next to me at 5 foot 10 and I had to look up at her, I didn't feel like a man being smaller 😆 Definitely coming back here again, if you don't like being ripped off and want the good old days when you got value for money, get yourself down to this pub, fantastic, oh and dog friendly in the bar, im unsure anywhere else..

Impeccable standard of cleanliness, Welcoming staff, prompt efficient service at bar and restaurant. Accommodating to any requirements needed. Accommodation is cosy warm clean and of good standard for cost. Located in lovely small village that holds high respect for landlady and her establishment

Had food here tonight for the first time, ohhhhhhh my goodness, I can’t believe we haven’t been sooner, what an amazing place to eat, not only was the food 100% but the staff were the most welcoming friendly and kind people ever, we all felt like we were part of the chequers family, will definitely be our new favourite place to eat with our family and friends xxx

I was fortunate enough to stay at this beautiful gem after my usual hotel was fully booked. My room was lovely, very clean, and with all the amenities you would expect combined with period features and beautiful antique furniture. I ate here for dinner every evening of my 4 night stay. The food is amazing, and the quality and quantity were fanominal. My steak was cooked to perfection, the sausage and mash is to die for, and the fish and chips (sorry, I mean chish and fips) are among the best I have ever eaten. The price, wow, £10 average for a main meal (steak was only £12) did make me wonder about the quality before I ordered but Chequers proves that you can provide top quality food without breaking the bank. It was also very gratifying to have a personalised menu as opposed to the usual generic menu you may expect of a place that is owned by a brewery or pub Co. They were also very accommodating to slight changes I wanted. I genuinely got the impression that nothing was too much trouble The icing on this sublime cake is the staff and regulars. Nothing was too much trouble, Hattie and Lucie were amazing, very attentive, and, despite their young age, very knowledgeable. The chef (who I believe is also the owner) was a delight, and even though she had just finished a long shift, she was more than happy to chat. I also found the regulars to be very friendly and welcoming.

We arrived ten mins before opening as we were on the way home from Warwickshire. Really friendly and welcoming - initially just popped in for a drink after last being there over 40 years ago. Lovely to see many of the original features still exist. Felt so welcome we stayed for lunch - great value and very tasty and fresh. Light/lunch burger was so big I couldn’t manage it all. Will definitely visit again.

This place is brilliant, friendly atmosphere from Deborah and the girls. I stayed in the hotel, here for 2 years, every week. To say I enjoyed my stay is an understatement.

Hattie is a brilliant bar maid, cracking jokes very good service, Deb cooked really good burgers and over all was a very good visit, will be here again!

Stopped overnight in our motor home on the way further north. Had a few drinks and a meal - food was good value pub grub. Landlady Debs and her team were very welcoming and looked after us well. Dogs welcome.

What a great time we had. The landlords were in to the process of opening a second pub on the night we arrived & we were advised when we booked that no food was available , but what a great stay we had. The staff were amazing, very attentive and even though Deb was crazy busy, she took time to chat we us, laugh with us and even produced a complimentary bottle of wine. We will most definitely be back 🥰

I stayed at this beautiful place because I was meeting a Holiday friends. Debs was absolutely a fantastic host so was a husband and all the staff made me feel so welcome as I travelled solo to meet a friends. The pub itself is absolutely beautiful idyllic in looks outstanding with all the staff, the cleanliness of the place is wonderful I would recommend anybody to stay there and when I go up to see my friends again, I will be going there again

I came in with my friends for some drinks after a work party, and WOW. The choice of beer on tap and number of spirits is impressive (especially gin)! It is decorated beautifully for christmas and certainly brings the festive atmosphere. The pub dog Maverick...

What a little gem of a place. Friendly staff great beer. You can tell the lines are clean and glassware is immaculate. Reasonably priced consider the pub a few doors up is loads more expensive.

I booked the function room for a first aid course day. The booking procedure was easy with clear and punctual communication. The room was clean and had ample space. Tea and coffee was provided. We also booked lunch for the attendees. The food was good...

Out driving with the family and came across this great pub. Lots of parking and the character of the pub was really special. Good range of beer and a lovely menu

We moved to Ullesthorpe recently,Have had a few pints of Pedigree here since arriving, and it’s always first class and beautifully kept.However today we popped in for coffee.We both had Cappuccino and it was lovely and frothy and creamy,We then Spotted breakfasts on the menu and weakened - ordered one each as wellFull English was egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, tomato and beans. Served with toast.Lovely soft egg, nice warm plate and we ate the lot and loved it.And the price for the 2 breakfasts and 2 cappuccinos was an incredible £12.40!God knows how they do it at that price! But we will be back.

Went for some lunch here today with my partner for the eat out to help out scheme. Was very busy however still had no issues with experience. Food was lovely when it came out. The building is currently going through a massive refurbishment however that did not effect our visit to this pub and everything was still great. 10/10 would recommend.

The Chequers is simply an awful place to stay, I paid £79 for a night in which I was waiting for the morning to arrive. My first impressions on arrival were not good, the place was looking tired and had a large group of drunk very noisy people grouped unsocially close together near the entrance. We were shown to our room which was just about ok. On turning on the TV we found that there was no reception we then reported this to a lady on reception who didnt give a damn and said there was no reception as it was down to the aerial. She then said nothing could be done before she restarted cleaning a baby seat or high chair while we were talking to her. Whilst £79 is not a lot to pay for a hotel for a night, it is about double I'd expect to pay for a travelodge or premier inn. The difference in customer service levels being the other obvious difference. I am far from happy at the lack of tv, after a long drive I was looking forward to a relaxing night of tv viewing, but the pathetic level of customer service is absolutely disgusting. I am sure I will get the usual "sorry but we were very busy on that night, hope we can rely on your custom next time.... message and this was just a one off" I am livid and I expect to have a full explanation from Marston's, I dont think you deserve my hard earned money for such a lousy hotel and service.

Been coming to the chequers since 1998 with my wife and kids always found the service and the staff polite and helpful and always an excellent meal.

I like to leave balanced reviews so firstly the food was good however the bar staff were rude when coming to pay... They chose to ignore me and served locals rather than taking my payment... A local at the bar even made comment to me to leave without paying... I paid cash as clearly they had a problem with non locals... Won’t go back and advise others to avoid this clicky pub ...!!!

May I say what a great Sunday lunch tried to get in two places but both fully booked our fault for not booking so phoned the above and got in and the guy who greeted us was extremely polite showed us to our table took our orders and the food arrived and it was good would be back again that’s for sure

My husband booked this hotel at short notice for one night in preparation for a car show the following day.I normally check Trip Advisor before arranging any accommodation but this time I left it up to him.Although it was acceptable, I think I should have checked beforehand...We arrived at around 5.30pm so the pub was quite full.We were shown to our room by a lovely gentleman, who explained that breakfast was served after 9am.The room itself was quite spacious, tea and coffee, and a fan ( it was more like a jet engine blowing off a puff of air )I did spot quite a few cobwebs There was a strong smell of damp/sewerage which didn’t go, even with the windows open ( being on a restricted latch didn’t help) The bed was comfy but the pillows were like bricks.The bathroom was very clean and they provided lovely towels and some toiletries.We had a meal downstairs at around 8.30pm-food was served until 9. Super fast service and really nice quality. We had a burger and a pizza which were both very delicious.We only had half a toilet roll haha so by the morning we needed extra- but the doors to reception were locked. I understand it’s a pub and not a hotel but it left us in a predicament, as we had already taken our car to the show grounds and taxis were very expensive. We left at 9.15am and at that point the doors were still locked so no breakfast. Overall it was an ok stay- the staff were great, food was good, but we probably wouldn’t stay here again

All 15 of us had a lovely 3 course Sunday lunch after playing golf locally. The host & staff were all excellent.

Visited with friends for a pre-booked evening meal and was very pleased with the food, the service, and the beer. This was our first ever visit and we were suitably impressed. It was a quiet night with few people dining, which we preferred as we could talk without lots of background noise. There was a wide selection of dishes and my mixed grill was delicious. Would have no hesitation in returning.

We have recently moved to the village, perfect local pub for us. We have visited a few times now and have never been disappointed.We ordered the pork and gammon burger and the Cajun salmon (both off the special board). Both were delicious, tasty & piping hot. Lots of great offers on throughout the week. I mean who wouldn’t turn down a fizz Friday let alone a fizz weekend! The staff work very hard and are prompt, polite, efficient and visible to seeGreat chilled atmosphere! Thank you all!

Decided on the spur of the moment to have an evening meal at The Chequers after walking to it from a village a couple of miles away. The new menu online looked good with plenty of choice and seemed good value for money. It was fairly busy for a Wednesday night and the barmaid was a bit flustered and was struggling on her own (not sure if she was new though). She didn't know how to put a code in on the till for a free drink, eventually three other people came to help sort it out. Ordered our meals OK and the diffferent lady that served us read back the order to us. One of which was the Pork and Gammon burger from the specials board, the other was the Lamb Kofta burger. According to the menu burgers are served with "lettuce, sliced tomato and homemade coleslaw". When our meals arrived it was on cold plates and there was no salad or coleslaw. The lamb koftas were supposed to be flavoured with rosemary and served with yoghurt and mint, the yoghurt had effectively cooked and curdled on the koftas within the tortilla warp so didn't taste very fresh and couldn't taste the rosemary in the lamb. Not sure what the other burger was that came out, we think it was pork from the colour, but there was no gammon with it, it had black pudding instead and again no salad or coleslaw. We were very disappointed, but couldn't be bothered to complain as we were hungry and didn't want to have to wait for everything to be re-done as we had to walk back to the other village before dark. On any other occasion I would have complained or refused to pay for it! We had been looking forward to this meal after returning from two week's holiday in Greece where admittedly we had been spoilt having been served fresh, simple, wholesome food cooked by family members with care and attention. Sadly, this doesn't seem to happen in English pubs, especially those run by chains such as Marstons, although it should not be difficult to serve what is actually described on the menu!

Wanted somewhere to go locally with a few friends for a evening chilling over a meal. Heard that there was a new menu so we thought we’d give it a go. (Over the last few years the pub has had several landlords) Pleased we did, staff were welcoming and helpful. Had a nice meal, they were happy to swap bits around. Good value too. Will go again. Noticed there were several events coming up including a monthly quiz. Nice to see the landlords are obviously making an effort.

Arrived here on Saturday night after making a booking for 4, we were told that there might be a smallwait as they were busy, fair enough I thought at least we had been warned.

We visited the restaurant a couple of times over the bank holiday weekend and had a very enjoyable experience on both occasions.

We visited this wonderful Inn to celebrate our frinds birthday. Managed to get the last available room which was cosy and comfortable. The evening was brilliant and the staff both on the evening and at breakfast were so friendly and helpful and the food was very good. If you are in the area check it out

We were looking for somewhere different to go for a evening meal & decided to try the chequers as we hadn't for many years as it had gone down hill. There is plenty of parking on site. It seems that the locals sit around the bar making it difficult to get to buy a drink as no one moved for us. We then found a table & looked at the extensive menu. A waitress then took our order, then a few minutes later came back & said that they had only one lot of Yorkshire puddings left, so we changed 1 of our meals, then the waitress was told by the chef that if we were happy waiting around 15 minutes we could have fresh Yorkshires, so we did that. The food came around the time said & was well presented & a good size portion. It was hot & tasted good & was very filling. The plates weren't very stable though.

Visited for lunch. Very quiet so no atmosphere. I had steak and salad and asked for medium cooked steak. It was dry and rather tasteless. My husband’s fish was dry. Other party members had starters which were good.

Dropped in on a Tuesday for lunch to see if it would be ok for a family get together and birthday meal later in the year. We just had main courses only, the food was fresh, hot, tasty and served quickly. The staff were friendly and even though I went to the bar to order the bar lady ‘kirsty’ I think offered to,come over and take our order. Great service and suitably impressed so much so that we made a decision there and then to book for our get together. Around 30 guests for our September booking which they were more than happy to cater for. Looking forward to it and sure I will be visiting again with my partner before then.

Came here on Saturday night with family, and what can I say. Since the new owners have taken over I will definitely be recommending. After having a bad experience previously, I thought I’d give The Chequers another try, and I’m glad I did. The place was thriving, and both the bar staff and waitresses coped well under pressure and still made sure we were well looked after. The food was also spot on. I will definitely be returning.

I have used a lot of Marstons pubs in the past, but not this one again !

Had another spot on meal and great conversation with bar staff. Disagree with previous reviews and sounds totally unfair as staff are 99% good 99% of the time. Been eating and drinking here for 7 years and even though I was disappointed several years ago cannot complain for a few years now.

Went there today for first time. All reviews seem very positive so thought we would give it a try. Plenty of seating and nice and warm . After waiting at least ten minutes never saw a member of staff anywhere. Not sure whether to order food at bar or waitress service as no numbers on table. Husband waited at least another 5 minutes at bar and yet again no staff. About another 10 customers in restaurant and nobody seemed to have food so decided to give it up as a bad job.

Wonderful pub, nothing is too much trouble & the food was delicious. We had lasagna & fish & chips which was served promptly & was piping hot - will be returning very soon :)

It was our Kurling group Christmas lunch today, all 26 of us. After I made our original booking, I'd heard that the managers were leaving....all a bit worrying, but I was assured when I went in to pay the deposits that new people were taking over and all would be good.

We booked into the room very last minuet and all was great, we had stayed here before and the rooms are perfectly fine. Was told to come down for breakfast at around 8:00am. Got downstairs in the morning and no one to be found except the lovely cleaner, who informed us that breakfast is over at 7:45 and everyone had already left!

We stayed here last weekend the food was amazing and the atmosphere was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and attended to our needs. The service we received was probably the best service we've received in a while. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for your service.

Ate there last night. Ordered 2 meals which arrived 15 minutes apart with no reason given or aoplogy offered. The standard of the food also left a lot to be desired. "Hand Battered" fish and chips, the fish was watery and the batter dougley. And, of course, no-one passed by the table to ask how things were, so they obviously don't reaslly care. We left most of it and headed elsewhere. Won't be visiting again. There are plenty of better places in the area.

We visited this pub a week or so ago and the staff are brilliant the atmosphere is great the locals are friendly and the food is high of standards, the hotel was lovely too, everything you needed for a good night sleep. Definitely will be staying here again.

I stayed overnight at The Chequers Country Inn for the weekend and was thoroughly impressed from the moment I arrived. The pub has a fantastic atmosphere, full of friendly locals and staff. I ate in the restaurant for dinner and have to say I was shocked - as a vegan, eating out is not always easy, but I was genuinely surprised at the vast options available to me on the menu. The food arrived quickly and when it did I couldn't fault it, I had the veggie burger with jackfruit which came with onion rings and fries and I would recommend it to veggies and meat eaters alike! I also had a (vegan!!!) cheesecake for pudding, so grateful for the amount of thought and care taken in creating this menu to cater for everyone's dietary needs/preferences. I was really impressed with the staff, our food arrived very quickly given that we were in a large group and our waitress was lovely and very attentive.

We visited here as we were told it was under new management. I had the cottage pie which was fluffy mash potatoe and full of flavour.My friend ordered the ribeye steak which was seasoned and cooked to perfection.Its a Lovely,friendly pub and had a good section of cask ales.

We have eaten here many times, always been decent food. On this occasion however they excelled themselves we arrived early tea time and found an early bird menu. We both choose lasagne with garlic ciabatta and side salad. This lasagne was quite simply the best I ever tasted!! Delicious!! And only cost £10 for 2!! Also to note they have a vegan friendly menu and I have the chocolate and cherry cheesecake off this menu cos it sounded nice, it came with vegan ice cream... the cheesecake was lovely but maybe a bit dry probably as it's vegan lol but the vegan ice cream was blooming gorgeous! Well recommend!

Visited with my mum yesterday and both had the £13.45 Sunday roast deal. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and friendly and efficient staff. Really good value and great experience. Keep up the good work!

Relatives came from far away .. of 12 they were very slow and by the time everything was on table veg sauces ect food was cold .the roast beef was good by all accounts. my lamb was awful yuck !! Steak tough ..Lovely yorkshire puds tho . nice puddings although slow in offering and nearly didnt get any ..although a special menu included 2 couses for

I’m local to the area and invited friends over to stay for the weekend. We had purchased tickets for a 90s night that the local school had arranged! The disco was really good, bar staff very polite and rooms very cosy! Thank u chequers team! Xx

We returned today after having a lovely meal last week and decided to go back again. The meal was lovely but after finishing our meal we waited 30 minutes and still no one had come to clear our table. wanted to order puddings so I went to the bar and was told that someone would come to the table, we waited another 15 minutes and still no one came so we went to the bar to pay and explained what had happened and our response from the staff was “okay fair enough” not even an apology. We was planning on booking for Christmas dinner here for 10 people but won’t be going now.

Great friendly team work at the chequers. The rooms are clean and very comfortable size. menu has a very good selection. Fish & chips are tasty. The locals are very friendly if you fancy pint or game of pool. Good selection of beers. Great place to stay will be going back in few weeks. Can’t thank them enough all the best to a Great team. I stayed here around 18 months ago and left unimpressed. I revisited this week and found a vast improvement on my previous visit. The room i was staying in was a lot better than last time. Lovely modern bathroom and although the main room was only small it was ample for me to get my head down for the night. Food in the restaurant was excellent. I had the class burger which was one of the best burgers I have had for a long time. Prices very reasonable and other dishes that were being served looked equally as good. Breakfast was included which again was excellent. Only gripe was with the bar staff. After my meal I was sat at the bar with a few others watching the football on the tv yet we had to keep getting up and walking round the other side of the bar as there were no staff servicing the bar area near the tv. Only a small gripe but surely it would be better to have staff servicing both sides of the bar especially when there were a few customers in the tv side. Otherwise an enjoyable visit.

The Chequers is a reasonably large country pub and restaurant. It has a large car park and is well sited for customers living in Lutterworth, Ullesthorpe, Hinckley and elsewhere because of it's proximity to the A5/M69 and the M1, though our group were mostly staying locally.

Came here tonight as staying in a nearby hotel. We wanted a cute country pub, and we kind of got that. Staff were ever so friendly and charming, but not 100% on top game. The menu sounded really interested and we both chose off the specials menu - apparently an out of date specials menu as neither meal was available. Would have been really easy to avoid this situation by just making sure that the specials menu is not put on every table! The menu sounded quite exciting and interesting but didn't always deliver. The Pearl Ale and Marmite 'sauce' which we were, so intrigued by really wasn't a sauce at all, it was a meaty topping. Saying that, the steak was cooked really really well, portion sizes were generous and everything is so nearly in place for this to be a really cute place to spend a evening.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Very nice comfortable rooms with large bathroom facilities. Large car park with plenty of spaces. Staff very friendly and good atmosphere in the bar area.

Not much to stick in the memory about this restaurant.

Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly people. Good choice of real ale beers. Food [ Steak] was tasty and exactly as ordered. Can not fault the place, would recommend.

Had quite a nice meal,was cooked well and very tasty,Staff were nice and polite,Had to wait nearly 50 mins for the food to appear though,pub wasnt busy,not many people eating,so dont know what the wait was.Also 2 foul mouthed men sitting at the bar,there language was loud and disgusting,their was a little boy with his dad eating his dinner sitting not two feet away,just what you dont want to hear with children.

Myself and a group of friends went here on Saturday 17th February for the ABBA tribute night and decided to have a meal. The food was excellent, the bar staff and waitresses were very polite and helpful. Thanks to Gail and staff for a fantastic night. Will definitely be going again

I often eat here and have often brought friends along with me too! I am quite a fussy eater and it never seems too much for the chefs to cook me something up that I'll enjoy! Definitely worth a visit xx

My wife and I have lived in the area for many years and have seen this restaurant change hands many times with many refits and closures. We were recently informed that the chequers has improved recently so decided to give it another try. On entering...

If you're after good food and a peaceful relaxing stay, go somewhere else. The food was burnt yet cold and swimming in cold foul grease. The beer was weak and watery with an aroma of a public toilet. Every conversation in the bar area can be clearly heard in the bedrooms - you might as well get a blanket and sleep in the bar. Dreadful, don't go there.

My family and I have visited the chequers several times. The food is really lovely and portion sizes of Sunday lunch is generous. We held our sons 2nd birthday party here in the function room and everyone had a great time. The staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming, will definitely continue to visit.

Had a ham sandwich and chips, partner had fish and chips, far too much batter on the fish but otherwise ok. Such a pity when a pub has a fire but doesn't turn it on, it makes it look so much more welcoming!

Great food, drink and accommodation. Had a family gathering so multiple meals and rooms booked. All great.

Had an amazing dinner with 8 in our group. Stayed a night 2 rooms both very clean and comfortable would definitely go again
