The best restaurants in East Midlands

I went there on Saturday with my husband for his birthday meal with my Son,daughter-in-law and granddaughter she is only three ,the staff were very pleasant and polite and made us feel very welcome . The food was delicious and very well priced . We were served and looked after by Georgina who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly too made us all feel very welcome and was very kind to our granddaughter as she asked for ice cream for her pudding and it was no trouble at all fir her to have it as I don’t think ice cream only was on the menu but she got it , very happy with everything we had and the help from Georgina she was great .

La tripulación siempre es extremadamente educada y amable, les encanta la comida fresca cocinada, siempre caliente y sabrosa, el servicio de buffet es insuperable donde nada es un problema, y los precios son mucho más baratos que cualquier estación de garaje local, servicios de autopista, etc. pero lo más importante es mucho más sabor y rellenos que otros proveedores, y todo esto se entrega a diario si es necesario sin costo adicional, No dudaría en recomendar los servicios de Courtyards a cualquier empresa, negocio local o patio de garaje, prefiero comprar sus alimentos fríos y calientes que los que se ofrecen actualmente en las estaciones de servicio locales

When someone says breakfast out a burger van I automatically think greasy undercooked tasteless food! But this wasn’t the case when myself, husband and two little girls decided to try Cater King! The food is cooked perfectly, it’s very filling and great value for money! We all enjoyed it! Definitely worth going and having a taste yourself!

The big breakfast is beautifully cooked with top quality ingredients by this delightful local couple who deserve our custom. The rest of the menu is equally good as my mates can attest. Cheers M

We always come to this little gem of a cafe at least a couple of times a week and it never fails to impress. I'm sticking to my last review that this place does do the tastiest omlettes around. They are just so fluffy 😊 and cooked to perfection. My husband particularly likes the fish finger sandwich with tomato sauce off course. The chip sandwich is always good as so are the sandwiches and the cakes well what can I say. Simply Devine 🍰 Cannot wait for you to re-open so we can sit in once again but for now we will continue to enjoy the equally as good takeaway service

I’ve just spent a very enjoyable 3 days at Sheepgate Equestrian Centre supporting my friend whilst she was Dressage Training under the watchful eye of Sarah Payne. Although a non-rider myself, it was plain to see that the knowledge Sarah possesses and the kind and gentle manner that she uses to nurture her pupils along was a joy to watch. No matter what level you ride at, this lady will, with no doubt at all, help you along your journey. Sheepgate is a family run business run by the most pleasant people where nothing is too much trouble, Sarah, Mark, Kate, Lily and their staff are the most delightful and helpful people you could wish to meet, and I would guarantee you would finish your visit, however long, with a smile on your face. Thank you all, we will be back sooner than you think for more Training, Shopping, Banter and of course the cakes!!

Best African Restaurant in Leicester, This restaurant met my highest expectations of what a African Restaurant should look like, 100% chance of coming again 😋

Had loads of food from here every week me and a mate of mine go for a very good homecooked meal we have had all the roast dinner options and also been almost all through the menu my friend loves the homemade chips ham and eggs and beans I have the vegetable curry and rice also good pudding selection at very very cheap prices you can get a meal and a pudding and a drink for no more than around £10 £13 pounds and the food is fantastic thanks team Parkside your the best

We’ve been twice and the food is wonderful. They have to set up everything for kitchen and tables from scratch each week, as it’s an experiment to test demand, using a local cafe premises, which I find amazing. We had starters of scallops with pork belly and crackling, rabbit terrine, then duck and venison. Stunning. Good wine too. Definitely recommend if you love well cooked, beautifully presented food. Not expensive either.

Fantastic food . Fantastic service if you haven't tried the food you are missing out. The mushroom hall is the best pub in albert village with a brilliant landlord and landlady. Ben the chef sends the food out exactly how it looks on the menu. One word brilliant.

Excellent place for coffee or a meal. Staff friendly and well positioned. Has a garden and upstairs. Sells small interesting items. Cheap compared to other cafes
