Fantastic food . Fantastic service if you haven't tried the food you are missing out. The mushroom hall is the best pub in albert village with a brilliant landlord and landlady. Ben the chef sends the food out exactly how it looks on the menu. One word brilliant.

The best place in the east Midlands for real authentic home cooked food . The pub has fantastic landlord and landlady Paul and Jackie . The restaurant is run by Ben who loves and has a real passion for food . This is reflected in the quality of the food . Much better than the expensive alternatives available in Swadlincote.

Treated my mum to an afternoon tea here for Mothers Day and it was the best afternoon tea we have ever had! Really good range of savoury food such as the sandwiches, quiche and sausage roll as well as the mini desserts and scones too! Lovely extra touches with the sparkling non alcholic fizz and even the little chocolate mint served with the hot drinks. Really good value for money and would definitely recommend! Thank you for a perfect afternoon tea and hope to be back soon! 😊

Market StreetThe food is delicious and expertly made. You can watch the team creating the yummy treats whilst you're there. The coffee is gorgeous and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. They can't do enough to help. Plenty of room for prams, and excellent baby changing facilities. Always a lovely treat to visit.

Smisby RoadA great gym with a great team of staff. Range of equipment is top tier following the renovation work in 2023. Staff are helpful and were able to resolve billing queries I had. I will be a returning member again in the future.
