Lovely pics for food. Service is amazing, they really do go above and beyond & would highly recommend!

Had the bagel with cream cheese,fried egg & bacon,the bacon was clearly re heated & was rock hard,yes I should of said something at the time,but I didn’t,I will next time,if it happens again.

Not a community cafe, but a cafe serving its community, with clean uncomplicated decor. Clearly the people in the area know where to come, as there were plenty of customers inside enjoying great tasting hot food, kept warm throughout the meal by the hot dish it was presented in. Friendly staff greeted me and made me feel more than welcome from the offset On my revisit very little has changed which is good because as anyone who is self employed knows, consistency is key.

Brilliant. Such a treat to eat in a cafe that's so much more than a greasy Jo's. Impeccable service and lots of other loyal customers.

Amazing breakfast, quirky plates too

No tables when we arrived but the staff were amazing and we only waited a couple of minutes before we were seated. Coffee was excellent and the large full english was the best i've ever had in all honesty. Nice high ceiling makes it feel spacious, and again, the staff and the guy running the place made us feel so welcome and were great with our little one. So many places get the personal touches wrong but the other things right or vice versa but this place has it all for me. Can't wait to go back!

Popped in for brunch after visiting the nearby health centre with my elderly parents. Met with a really warm welcome and shown to a table. The owner's kindly tweaked my dad's order for him and within minutes warm and freshly cooked food arrived. I had the pancakes which were divine. Great food and service, wish I didn't live so far away from this little gem! Very well priced too.

This is our new favorite coffee to go place in Ashby. Most wonderful and friendly owner is Andrea. My husband and I look forward to relaxing and having our favorite coffees here which range from Capuccino, Lattes, Americanos and to my delight even Frappe. Variety of delicious breakfast to chose from. Two of the breakfasts we have had are the poached eggs with salmon in a bun with hollandaise sauce and the Haloumi Breakfast with egg, mushroom, avocado, Haloumi cheese in Pita bread. Very rustic relaxing decor with the most fragrant coffee and breakfast aromas. The service and atmosphere is friendly and laid back. Andreas makes The Olive Branch Cafe a warm and welcoming place. Fantastic coffee shop for all. 🙂

This place is a hidden treasure, and it never fails to deliver, every visit is perfect. The food is always delicious and cooked fresh to order, I had the pita breakfast and the halloumi was just right, crisp but soft inside. I want to say thanks also to the gentleman who served us, we were sure we'd never get a seat with how busy it was but he got us in no problem. Reccommend a visit!

I really enjoyed this place. The food was very comforting and the staff were incredibly friendly. There are a few parking spaces outside shared with the co-op nextdoor if you're thinking or driving.

This lovely little cafe accommodated 14 of us! Every single meal was cooked to perfection with no errors! The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us asking if we needed anything extra or drinks etc! Thank you The Olive Branch! Happy new year to you all.

We’ve been here many times. Great for breakfast. I would particularly recommend the Pitta Breakfast. The tea and coffee is of excellent quality. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with great staff. Overall utterly superb.

Dropped in first thing on a Saturday morning and were rewarded with 5 different, fresh and delicious dishes. For a family of five, although I would have had a go at each of them. Recommended.

I heard about this lovely cafè and I decide to pop in today and since I pass through the main door I felt my self be surrounded by a nice and warm atmosphere. The owner, I'm assume, invite me to sit at one the table inside. It's good that even though business like this one has been affect by this pandemic the staff around was very friendly not just with me but with the other customers and they always served me with a big smile! My lunch break was made by a combination between this place, people around and great food! I had a pita gyros and I enjoyed every single part of my meal everything was clearly fresh and the homemade zazitky sauce has been a quite good surprise, chips were amazingly fried. Before leave I had a Pumpkin spice latte topped with whipped cream spices and for coffee lovers like me I can only say that was very tasted! I will definitely coming back to the Olive Branch Cafè in Ashby because I can't wait to try all the other meals on the menu. I will recommend this place to everyone the quality is unique! Thank you

Thus place is such a refreshing and friendly break from the monotony of Ashby's Town centre. You're guaranteed to be greeted with a smile and the service overall is brilliant. The menu has a good variety of options and they are always prepared to accommodate any tweaks / requests if you fancy something else ... a fantastic vibe with fantastic service 👌

This was my second visit in a couple of months the food is amazing the staff are so polite and friendly a real gem of a place I would highly recommended.

Been going here for the past few weeks for lunch with my partner. Usually we go into town but wanted to try something different. Love the menu! Suits every taste. As a vegetarian it's often a second thought but not here. Lots of options for everyone. Tried breakfasts, sandwiches, bagels and omlettes all fabulous. Lovely, friendly service too.

Fabulous cafè serving lovely breakfasts and lunches. The Gyro's for lunch are a 'must try'. Great coffee too. Highly recommended.

Friendly, attentive staff and excellent food. Had a soya flat white and the pancakes with bacon and golden syrup - everything was perfect. Lovely atmosphere too. The food had been eaten before I remembered to take a photo, but did get a photo of their logo on the wall and these cute salt and pepper pots! 💡💡 We didn't book, and that wasn't a problem today, but I think next time I will book a table just to avoid disappointment. Would definitely recommend this place.

Very welcoming staff. Unfortunately for me the chairs were uncomfortable and the room was a bit echoey. Also, the cakes were dry. If they put cushions on the chairs, improved the food quality (main meals and cakes, so they were locally sourced) and made sure the staff new more about the food. It would greatly improve it for me. It wouldn't take much for it to be a first class cafe. Personally I won't be going back. Side note. Why bother selling special bread flour, when you don't use it in your menu?? Maybe visit Lakeview cafe in Measham for menu ideas.

Really delicious avocado toast with egg and bacon. The healthy salad on the side was a nice surprise and complimented the dish. The skinny cappuccino was hot as requested. A must visit for a great start to your day!

Unfortunately the breakfast is very poor. Oily and from not fresh products. Breakfast in Tesco is better. Poor coffee too. It's a shame because we live nearby.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Friendly people, lovely food all reasonably priced. They know how to poach eggs properly too, cooked but still runny. Highly recommended.

Was very disappointed. This place came with high recommendations. The eggs benedict was very lacking in hollandaise sauce, poached eggs weren't runny, bacon looked under cooked and the muffin wasn't very toasted - if at all. The full breakfast looked a better option.

A hidden Gem in the Market Town of Ashby - De - La - Zouch, I just popped in as a whim, not being local to the area. Hunger drove me there, the delicious selection of food and welcoming atmosphere meant I stayed. The owner is so friendly, a real character and all staff provided exceptional service. My family and I were travelling back from Cornwall to North Yorkshire and choose this little cafe just 2 miles of the A42 as an alternative to stopping at an overpriced, overcrowded motorway service station. I'd found the Olive Branch on Google maps and saw that it was ideally located and the reviews looked great. We were certainly not disappointed with our choice. The staff were really helpful and accommodating when we rang and asked if we could reserve a table, and even more so when we needed to bring the reservation forward slightly when we found we were making better progress on our 275 mile journey from Newquay to Ashby than expected. The cafe itself is small, but very clean and tidy, and they have made allowances to C-19 and keeping people safe, but without losing the personal feel. The menu choice was very good, and the quality of the food was excellent, and good value. The service was also very good with all the staff seeming to be genuinely welcoming and friendly, which does make a big difference to the feel of any place as you walk through the door. It was the perfect relaxing break in our journey, thank you to everyone at the Olive Branch and I wish you all the success in the future

Great lunch. Salads and Chicken Gyros. Very friendly staff. Coped really well with allergies. Ate here on an Eat Out to Help Out day. Made a good value lunch even better value. Breakfasts, pancakes and bacon, salads, baguettes, cobs, avocado smash. Wide menu. Recommended.

They went above and beyond. Had the Lite Breakfast and asked for no banana, they gave me extra berries and even removed the dried banana from the granola! Atmosphere was lovely and staff were very friendly, and COVID measures were easy to understand but thorough.

The food was absolutely delicious, service exceptional and atmosphere warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the pita breakfast, possibly the nicest breakfast I've ever had!

I work opposite the cafe and get my lunch here several times a week. The food is always excellent and served with a smile with a side of banter. If you’re really lucky, you may get gifted random cucumbers ;-)

I have been to the Olive Branch for lunch twice and breakfast once. Lunch was okay despite a few missing ingredients/products. This being said, there was very little chicken meat included in the chicken gyros, the muffins were not available and they ran out of orange juice.Recently we got a takeaway for breakfast. The bacon was tough, the sausages basic (ie. like Richmond sausages) and very little mushrooms. However, the milkshake was nice!Overall, the eat in food may be better but the takeaway is definitely not worth it - sorry Olive Branch!

The welcoming assistant made me the first barista crafted flat white I've had since Lockdown....delicious and piping hot too, thank you!

I have been here a few times for breakfast or lunch and have had a great experience every time. The food is fresh, delicious and well priced and the staff are really friendly. The menu caters for all people / diets which is perfect for the family as there is something for the adults and children. This will no doubt continue to be my first choice for food in Ashby.

Nice friendly staff and good quick service, the breakfast wasn’t as hot as it could be and the bacon is of average supermarket quality. For the price a higher quality of items would be expected. I would give it 3.5 stars as it’s on the good side of average but nothing special and there are better available at a similar/ cheaper price in Ashby.

I've visited the cafe several times and only feels right to say what a great place it is. Everytime I go I feel really looked after and always impressed with what I order, really tasty food and in particular with the coffees (I'm a tired mum of 4 so my caffeine is very important to be just right ) I find the cafe is well priced and the staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble, myself and my family look forward to going back again soon!

5 of us had breakfast this morning. The staff were extremely accommodating in moving tables together for us and made us feel very welcome. Our party had the branch breakfast and eggs royale. All cooked really well and great presentation. We will definitely be back.

This little cafe goes from strength to strength with lots of regular customers returning time after time. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The location is perfect too with free parking right outside.

Wow....what a great find, next to the new Co-op, you can park outside for free. I was early for my doctors appointment so I popped in for coffee. Next time I`ll come for lunch, as the menu was so tempting. Full of healthy and slightly different options there is something for everyone. Really good spot, which I was introduced to by my teenage sons! Excellent coffee and breakfasts. Run by the son of the Fish & Chip shop on Smisby road. Really good, friendly service. Always try and visit when I’m back to see the kids.

Cute, trendy cafe with really tasty food... quality rather than quantity. Decent options for vegans and soya milk available for coffee. I had smashed avocado on toast with mushrooms. Great, super-fast service also. Only suggestion (not a criticism) is that I’d serve the breakfast with a bit of spinach instead of mixed leaves. Will visit again to check out the lunch options!
