I love this pub! Beautiful location on the edge of the Peak District. The food is great and the staff are always friendly. Great dog friendly area too! I particularly love a Sunday dinner here!

Friendly atmosphere and staff, the food was delicious. I will definitely go there again. 👍 I had the steak and ale pie this time and it was absolutely fantastic, I would recommend it if you haven't already tried it.

Went in for food yesterday ...Didn't have half the things we wanted...Some of the meals was OK...My husband had fish was horrible we told them the young lady with dark hair was very helpful and refunded him...There was a gal with blonde hair very rude and attitude shouting at my sister well go and eat at your chip shop then then when we left we said thank you she piped up don't bother coming again...What a lovely gal to work in Hospitality!!! We go in a lot for a drink not calling the pub it was just one person out of order.

Lovely chilled atmosphere at lunchtime, ideal for a quick snack and drink whilst shopping in town. I recommend a biscuit with coffees though.

We came here on an impromptu visit in August 2024, it's been a while since we ate here (not a reflection on past visits) but we were pleasantly surprised after ordering our food by the quality and portion sizes. My parents are usually hard to impress, but they certainly left both full, and satisfied with the level of service we received Honestly this is a game changer for us, and will be having further family meals in future at the Inn on the Green.
