Great food and friendly and happy staff.

Enjoyed our dinner at the collingtree. Scarlett and Ruby polite as ever and food cooked by Sam and Luke was hot and delicious. Sam takes into account my special requests which is appreciated. Thanks team.

Great midday visit with a small snack. Nachos with bacon and chicken (OMG so nice) and dirty fries.

9 of us for dinner and the food and service was excellent. Thanks to Caitlin, Megs, Katie and the kitchen / restaurant staff !

Their selection of beers is impressive, (so my husband says) For non-beer drinkers, there’s a well-curated list of wines and a surprisingly creative cocktail menu. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and they seem to genuinely care about the experience of every guest. Despite the pub being busy, service was quick and seamless, and Jess was more than happy to recommend a drink to suit my taste. If you're looking for a pub with character, great food, and a fantastic selection of drinks, The Collingtree should be at the top of your list. Whether it's a casual weeknight drink or a lazy lunch, this is a pub that hits all the right notes. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub & staff, food is always good and comes out hot. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly, they will always go out of their way to help you.

The Collingtree – Consistently Outstanding My recent visit to The Collingtree was just as enjoyable as all my previous ones. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service make this pub a standout every time. The staff are always polite and approachable, but I must give a special mention to Jess, who went out of her way to ensure our evening was enjoyable. Food: The food was, as always, delicious and great value for money. The menu offers an excellent selection, catering to a wide range of tastes, and every dish we’ve tried has been spot on. Portions are generous, and the quality is consistently high, whether you're after a traditional pub meal or something a bit more adventurous. Service: The staff here consistently deliver excellent service. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive table service, they manage to strike the perfect balance of being friendly without being intrusive. Jess, in particular, deserves praise for her thoughtful gesture. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend paying The Collingtree a visit. The combination of great food, value for money, and friendly service ensures it remains one of my favorite pubs to visit. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

Visited a few days ago Amazing food from abbey, had the beef burger was so tasty and amazing service from Caitlin and sam and table was cleared after we were finished lovely when you don’t have to sit around your dirty plates makes it much nicer

Came tonight and ordered a mega mixed grill with the steak medium rare and surf and turf with the steak medium to well done. When the food arrived, I could smell burning from the surf and turf skillet. The steak was completely burnt and could not even be cut into. None of the waiting team came to ask if our food was ok (as you would expect in a bar or restaurant serving food) so I had to go and find someone to complain about my steak which was inedible. Rather than take the whole plate away, the waitress took away the steak only leaving me with the rest of the plate! By the time the new steak came out, the rest of my meal was cold. The new steak was also burnt and very well done - no medium about it! Not once did anyone come and ask how the new steak was despite me sending back the previous one. Absolutely disgusting food and service. To top it all the duty manager, Jess, was outside smoking with customers as we left!

Usual friendly service. Food to usual standard. Bit noisy because of bingo but only lasted a short while so can put up with that. For the money you can’t beat it. Staff are excellent.

Food was to the usual standard although my first choice was unavailable.

Waited over an hour for food (wasn't informed of any wait when ordering). When food finally arrived, my steak was more well done rather than medium rare as ordered. Staff were friendly but some were inexperienced. Ended up with no meal (although it was taken off the bill, the damage was already done as it spoiled my evening).

The staff were extremely friendly, especially Lily who always put a smile on my face with her upbeat manner, humour and all round demeanour.

we had 2 meals which were both cooked perfect and large, our table was reserved for us. wine nice and not expensive.

Food was as expected for a family orientated chain restaurant. The service however was not. We booked for 6.30pm & upon arrival were told there would be a delay of upto 1.5hrs for food. Upon sitting down it didn't look overly busy so assumed that starters would arrive before then particularly as they were simple items that just needed a quick dip in a deep fat fryer. They didn't arrive until just over 1.5hrs though & yet they were still seating customers even though it was clear they were not coping. Our server was lovely & remained polite despite the increasing number of irrate customers. I think the manager should have stopped seating people, converted to a reduced menu or rung people in advance to allow them to make other arrangements instead. Not very impressed.

Brilliant service from very friendly and accomodating staff. They just make you feel so welcome, always. Lovely food too. Meg, Ashli and Lily looked after us today.

Great meal Lilly and Katelyn as always smiling and friendly. Informed there would be a wait on food but came out quicker than expected. Food was good so didn’t mind the wait.

Great evening at the Collingtree yesterday. 4 of us visiting as 2 were moving to the area and it was the nearest pub. Didn’t book but they managed to find us a table - although did warn us it was 1.5 hour wait for food. Very busy in both the bar and restaurant area. Excellent service given how busy it was and food was great. Big thanks to Loz for all her advice re ordering, using the App, loyalty points etc - a great asset to the pub! We will definitely be back!

Second visit here after a family member moved to the area and really enjoyed once again. Very busy with a good atmosphere and although we were warned there was a wait for food, it was worth the wait. A big shout out to Loz for the excellent service and all the great advice given about food, drinks, using the app etc! Thank you!!

The food was lovely, I had to ask for my glass to be changed as it wasn't very clean the staff were very friendly and helpful we went out in the garden at the rear of the pub and to be honest it really let the pub down rubbish everywhere bins full and the benches were awful. Out the front was much better

I attended a Drag show and what an amazing evening we had! We were seated and greeted by Sam & Lily and they looked after all of the drinks and food during the evening so we did not have to go to the bar, our lovely meals were prepared by Luke & Michael and they were delicious, the event was very well organised and would like to thank all of the amazing staff!

Absolutely fantastic. I got my order, let's say "wrong" and Ashlie, Lily, Carey, Chef Luke and Chef Sam were all phenomenal. They all smashed it! Normally a good pub to eat in, however last night the chicken and onion rings were very overcooked and practically inedible and the scampi was undercooked and not crisp

Popped in today for a few drinks, staff were a great laugh, efficient behind the bar and nothing was a hassle. Great pub in a great local area, would highly recommend! Lily and Caitlin were working behind the bar whilst I was in, and are brilliant members of staff!

Lily, Jess, Caitlin and the rest of team at the Collingtree, are absolutely brilliant. So friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Visited for my mother's 80th birthday meal, and it was lovely. The staff had set up the table by the window, and put a happy birthday banner up. Food order was done quickly and our meals were quick to arrive. The meals were all very tasty and the staff were attentive. They even bought out the cake I'd got for my mum, and sang happy birthday to her. All in all, it was a lovely afternoon. Will recommend to friends.

Above and beyond! Amazing service, food and staff! We came as a wedding party table of 10. Personalised table, congratulations card from the whole team, wedding colouring for the kids. go here reasonably frequently. its a footy pub but doesn't intrude into dining. Prices are reasonable but the quality and presentation of food is variable!

Great value, great company and our dog was thoroughly spoilt too.

Food is very burnt, I have come here on multiple occasions with my family, however quality of the food has increasingly become worse. We ordered in total 12 dishes, all mixed grills were terribly burnt, burgers dry, overall very underwhelming and disappointing. Very much a shame.

Only person to book a table, but they put us in a dark corner-so we moved to a window seat which was much more pleasant. Surf and turf steak a bit chewy, but everyting else fine.ordered a Brownie desert, which after 20 mins hadnt arrived. Ask young lady and she said she forgot! Seem to be missing smarties fudge etc.? Good value for money and nice to have a different meal to the usual-will come again.

Popped in at 5:15 for a quick meal as staying in area. Food area only has one table in but told very loudly they are full. Must be an awful lot of people arriving in the next 30 minutes to fill the place!!!!!!

Clarice & Jess were awesome with telling us everything we need to know and offering exceptional service, we arrived 15mins before the end of breakfast and they were able to accommodate foe us with no issues! Ollie and Cameron know how to make some amazing waffles and bacon! Perfectly juicy!

Met with friends here the night before a wedding. We did call beforehand to check wheelchair access and they explained they have a ramp to reach the restaurant area, which they provided when I asked for it. The ramp is hand made so it's very very steep and also made of wood, so has absolutely no grip on it, it took 2 family members to stop my electric wheelchair slipping down it. Staff were not really bothered

Extremely disappointing experience. Despite not being busy our food took 50 minutes to arrive. My menu choice stated Skin On Fries. When it arrived it was just normal fries to which the server advised they were the only fries they had. My meal the classic mixed grill arrived very dried up on a small skillet. Onions were burnt and welded to the skillet, the additional egg I ordered was solid, the half chicken fillet was not even a quarter of a fillet and dry as a bone. One of the other meals was dried out also.

We came in on a Friday evening at 1815 hopefully to eat. It was incredibly busy but Hayley found us a table which was really appreciated. The food arrived in only a short time and was absolutely lovely! Many thanks to Haley for her kind and attentive service which is something lacking in many other establishments.

Lily was very helpful and a credit to the pub. Food did take a while to arrive but was informed. However we had only taken 2 bites of our starter and was informed our main course was ready for us. Timings for food need a bit of work.

What a surprise this establishment was. A delightful choice of menu and a cheerful and happy staff.

Very good food, personally I would have moved the TV's to the back after the refurbishment due to the back it like walking into someone's living room when entering, especially when football is on. Massive opportunity missed there. Overall great value for money though.
