The Swan in Mansfield

Ash was brilliant, great service and great food. We visited with some friends for some lunch. Lovely and quiet especially for a Friday.

We've always enjoyed stopping off at The Swan for a drink or two with it being such as a lovely venue, but today we fancied something to eat as well. What we ordered was an ample plateful, perfectly cooked and simply delicious. Would highly recommend visiting, whether for a cheeky drink (or several) and/or something to eat.

Called in after some post Christmas shopping. We ordered Hunters Chicken and Fish & Chips. A young lady called Abi served us. She made sure we had everything we needed. The food was exactly as expected and piping hot. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal out here, will be coming again. I have a lot of dietary requirements that can make eating out a hassle, but our server Diana noted everything down to share with the kitchen, and her service was outstanding all evening, checking in regularly in case there was anything we needed. Food and service both top notch, and plenty of parking too.

the swan is such a great place to get together with friends , family. have a few drinks or a meal for 2, the food is delicious and the service is always on point , very fast and the staff are so polite. my mum forget the drinks and accidentally left them at the bar so a lovely staff member named jo brung them over so we didn’t have to move. perfect service , really recommend.

Went to try the Sunday dinner & was pleasantly surprised, well cooked and presented. Staff are really friendly & helpful. Will be back again

Ordered two pints of larger one with lime the barmaid put blackcurrant in I told her I said lime. Her response was not you said blackcurrant so your mistake you have to have it. I have never in my life had blackcurrant so would never of said it. Will never come here again.

I've had drinks here plenty of times but recently had food, I had the cheese steak baguette and chips and it was amazing deffo recommend. The only issue we had is the pub smelt like the carpets needed a good clean would of been five star other wise.

Bit quiet at the time we went (1;40pm) We had a large breakfast each and it was superb 👌 service was excellent too. Didn't wait too long before we got the food but it was quiet. Clean and tidy. Would recommend.

When I go to Mansfield shopping or just a trip out I always call at the swan for a drink and my favourite cowboy burger and fries I called today and it was really very good I never been disappointed thanks to everyone concerned

Lovely people served me especially paige and jo they are always so welcoming and always a great laugh. The drinks are amazing with such a big selection.

A lovely atmosphere and ash was so helpful when I told him about my allergies, even told me about the website to check what is in the food and told the chef aswell. Everyone goes above and beyond!

Me and my wife want for lunch. The food wasn't good to be honest. It was £12 each and it was the first time in the swan for food.we won't be having food again.

Such an Amazing venue with very helpful,bubbly staff…. Nothing is too much for them. Their music events, food and football really bring the pub to life and we love going it’s 100% Mansfield's best pub by far.

I wanted to order 3 drinks but because only 2 adults were drinking and 2 children, they wouldn't sell me the 3 only 2. The staff was constantly looking over at our table. The drinks were for myself and partner he wanted 2 ordering rather queuing again. We wont be returning, we was made to feel like we was being watched while eating our food. Only staff member that was polite was Abbie

It's years since I've eaten in the Swan but I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the House salad, topped with BBQ cauliflower wings. It really was an excellent salad, with all of the usual ingredients, alongside quinoa, kale, brown rice and soya beans. The dressing was zesty and refreshing and the cauliflower wings had the most delicious, crunchy coating! The best salad I've had in years, in our home town. The challenge to top it is on but it's mighty act to follow. Thanks to the lovely staff❤️ big love to the chef😄

I just went to the Toilet I left my little Dog outside .one of the staff opened The door and let him in and I got Told off about it. no dogs can walk through the car park. but I have been Doing this for along time. Am Utelrly Discustered.

The food was absolutely beautiful, had the peri peri & Philly cheese steak baguettes, we would definitely recommend and we’ll be back to try more! The service was fab, didn’t have to wait long at all for the food and had a lovely waitress called Abbie! Thank you!

I had a gift card for marstons pub and as I got to the till after giving my order I was told I couldn’t use it leaving me feeling embarrassed especially after I received this gift card from having a bad experience at the Sir John Cockle pub . After I received a message from the manager of the Swan regarding my issue and he was so nice and helpful and of his own back offered me a complimentary meal even though it wasn’t his fault

First time we have visited. The food was excellent. And was brought to the table very quickly. There was a nice variety of condiments on the table. We will definitely visit again when we in the area

Stopped off for breakfast. Everytime we come in we get a lovely friendly welcome by the manager and staff. Mobility scooter friendly with accessibility at both sides of the building. Also pub is nice and warm so a great place to pop in for a warm.

We were more than happy with the service that we received from Abby while we were having our food, I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Now who doesn't love The Swanathan. Man I have had many a good night in here back in the day. In fact my youth was spent in here, back in a time when town and society used to be busy and there was a social scene of drinkers. It was how you met people back then, today everything is done online and the pubbing / clubbing scene is unfortunately no more. I still pop in the Swan for a pint every now n then for nostalgia sake. I touched my first tuppence in there :) and grew from a boy into man, also used to blaze the dance floor with some smooth moves. Thank you Swan for some great memories.

We ordered off the regular meals menu, but we only got the small meals instead. I was disgusted as we were charged for the large meals. We will not go in again and we used to be regulars. The last time we went there I got food poisoning.

Was here on a Friday night. Very few people there. A few of us had Beavertown's Neck Oil and it wasn't kept very well. The lager drinkers were ok with their drinks though. What atmosphere there could have been was unfortunately being killed by the guy on guitar performing terrible covers.
