Shocking place. Toilets are absolutely filthy and the food is overpriced.

We went for food and was lovely the girl that brought food out was really nice and pleasant think her name was Abbie would definitely go again

I had a gift card for marstons pub and as I got to the till after giving my order I was told I couldn’t use it leaving me feeling embarrassed especially after I received this gift card from having a bad experience at the Sir John Cockle pub . After I received a message from the manager of the Swan regarding my issue and he was so nice and helpful and of his own back offered me a complimentary meal even though it wasn’t his fault

First time we have visited. The food was excellent. And was brought to the table very quickly. There was a nice variety of condiments on the table. We will definitely visit again when we in the area

Abbie (Abby?) was our attendant lady and very polite, excellent service. Brought my daughter a colouring page and some pencils, much appreciated.

Stopped off for breakfast. Everytime we come in we get a lovely friendly welcome by the manager and staff. Mobility scooter friendly with accessibility at both sides of the building. Also pub is nice and warm so a great place to pop in for a warm.

We were more than happy with the service that we received from Abby while we were having our food, I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Now who doesn't love The Swanathan. Man I have had many a good night in here back in the day. In fact my youth was spent in here, back in a time when town and society used to be busy and there was a social scene of drinkers. It was how you met people back then, today everything is done online and the pubbing / clubbing scene is unfortunately no more. I still pop in the Swan for a pint every now n then for nostalgia sake. I touched my first tuppence in there :) and grew from a boy into man, also used to blaze the dance floor with some smooth moves. Thank you Swan for some great memories.

I absolutely love it here! Ash is an absolute gem he's super super friendly as a credit to the swan! my little girl loves him and we visit regularly to see him and enjoy the delicious. We ordered off the regular meals menu, but we only got the small meals instead. I was disgusted as we were charged for the large meals. We will not go in again and we used to be regulars. The last time we went there I got food poisoning.

Was here on a Friday night. Very few people there. A few of us had Beavertown's Neck Oil and it wasn't kept very well. The lager drinkers were ok with their drinks though. What atmosphere there could have been was unfortunately being killed by the guy on guitar performing terrible covers.

Me and my wife and kids went it on the of chance and had food and drinks,The staff was more than helpful and the food was brilliant. I had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning.

Great beer patio. Staff are quick and polite. I'm happy here because they sell Smirnoff ice and a respectable pint for himself. Atmosphere is friendly and the door staff keep a professional eye on the customers. Definitely somewhere you could spend a few hours in warmer weather.

Called in Saturday for the first time. Pub was busy but staff helpful and happy. Ended up stopping for food and it was spot on. Will be back next time we in the area

Visted as a large group, staff were friendly, food was tasty all arrived to our table at the same time. The atmosphere was good, seen alot of improvement in recent months, keep it up. 🙂 we will be back soon!

Cracking burger and team were friendly, great pub in the middle of Mansfield town and top pit stop for lunch when shopping in town.

In my opinion, the best pub in Mansfield, but yesterday Strongbow was off. The alternative, Inches Cider is admittedly a very nice pint but not 55 pence a pint more than Strongbow nice. I'm sure they were just having a bad day and next time I go in everything will be fine.

Kinda disappointed in the ribs and wings combo, you get lots but it seemed like it was microwaved, sauce was nice and the servers were very attentive and friendly.

Not disability friendly, infact disability intolerant. My son was took the piss out of just because he asked his brothers girlfriend if the place was ever a hotel. My son heard the guy also bad mouthing his brother at the bar. He is already nervous...

Enjoyable atmosphere. I can't comment on the inside of the pub as I spent my time here in the beer garden. I wouldn't say its a place I would take my children, at least not on a Friday afternoon or bank holiday. Its a busy place and an enjoyable experience with a nice beer garden.

Great food great atmosphere. Prices are slowly rising as with anywhere. I took my grandchildren in with me but I wouldn't say it was kiddie friendly. Got told off for touching the fruit machine. Toilets are dirty and disgusting. Could do with a complete makeover. Most of staff very friendly and helpful.

Reserved a table at the Swan for Saturday 15th, never been there before and surprised at how nice it was. Jo the manager and all other members of staff were really friendly and food was lovely. We'll definitely be visiting again. Thanks Jo for reserving table 😁

Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Only downside was a longer than normal wait on food due to an issue in the kitchen but wasn't too long. Will definitely visit again .

Good food, nice friendly staff but my girlfriend noticed quite a bit of dust in places, such as bar area etc as we were sat close to there, but still a good local pub I'd go in again when visiting mansfield

My favourite pub in Mansfield town centre.

this restaurant and bar is the best in downtown Mansfield. the staff is very good. service is very fast and efficient. They have an outdoor terrace for smokers and non-smokers, and they also they serve hot food and cook and also serve drinks very fast. I recommend everyone to visit Swan.

Had a nice time in the Swan with 2 of my daughters. It was early, so the bar wasn't too packed. The drinks were good, the staff were friendly, including the doormen, the toilets were clean enough and the prices were pretty good. I will visit again, maybe with my grandchildren as my daughter says there's a children's event there soon.

Big and rowdy at times but can't fault it.
