Great welcoming atmosphere and dog friendly too which is nice. There's a pub and a restaurant so if you don't want to sit with dogs you can sit in the restaurant which is nice. Overall great food, great atmosphere, great place

Great food on the go as super efficient service

Having my husbands meal replaced as barely warm we both were given free drinks on the house . There were only 3 members of staff who were rushed off their feet but still found time to be polite and helpful .Thankyou Zoe Toni and Michael .

Good food but could have been warmer! Very empty cos of the weather

We go Tuesdays and Fridays. We are served by Jo and Tracy. You could not ask for better service and brilliant atmosphere they create. We have never had a bad meal in all the time we have been going.

We arrived at around 2pm, with the café half full, and everything initially seemed fine. We were greeted warmly by one of the waiters and seated promptly. After choosing our food, we placed our order. However, we ended up waiting over an hour and fifteen minutes for the food to arrive! There was a clear lack of care from the chefs in the back, who spent most of the time standing around, joking, and laughing. Hot food was left under the heat lamp for up to ten minutes, waiting for other dishes to be prepared. My partner’s chicken Caesar salad arrived after an hour, while I continued to wait for my panini. I was told it would be another five minutes, but those five minutes came and went – and then another five minutes passed. When my panini finally arrived, the waitress slammed it down without a word of apology. There was no offer of additional drinks, no acknowledgment of the fact we had to eat separately, and a complete lack of customer care throughout. As for the food quality, it was mediocre at best. My partner’s poached egg, having sat under the heat lamp, had essentially turned into a hard-boiled egg. The overall lack of flavour and poor presentation reflected the indifferent atmosphere in the café. I would strongly advise choosing another place to eat when visiting Rushden Lakes. There are far better options where your money will be better spent.

Absolute shambles. Our booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before our scheduled overnight stay that we had booked 6 months in advance for our visit to Chatsworth house country fare forcing us to find an alternative hotel much further away at the last minute

Had another great night at the Wonky Table last night. Food was fabulous. Staff are amazing. We are so sad our favorite restaurant is closing. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Interesting old building with many period features and a bar with half a dozen or more beers. Food was reasonable enough quality and the helpful staff kindly waited til our co-diners arrived (which was the very last minute before the kitchen closed!) Set amid stunning scenery, it seemed remote and a bit empty as the lunch period began, but soon warmed up to a convivial atmosphere. I expect it would work extremely well for wedding receptions and other big dining events.

Excellent choices on the menu...staff very helpful and friendly..my husband and I stayed overnight in one of the rooms across the car park ....also excellant..breakfast was delicious...freshly cooked..wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area

This pub is friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed one of the best meals we have had for a long time. Good menu choices. Prices as expected. Extremely well cooked and presented. Just wish we lived nearer!!
