Food was good, everything else OK. Will use again.

Not complaint about food but question what product is used to clean tables. Was there today in lunch hour where met friend. When got back to office in town at 2.00 noticed that the left of lower of black sleeved sweater was discoloured as if bleached. It was not like that before lunch. It can only have happened after young lady had wiped table down with spray. Sweater that was expensive (Ted Baker) is ruined. A therefore expensive jacket potato!

Would like to acknowledge the manager Ben and staff on how they've made a massive difference to my recovery from difficult times. Always felt welcome, not treated any differently, and feels like a community with old school rules. Things became unbearable recently due to the death of my mother which resulted in me letting myself down aswell as the pub. Either way, it's been handled so professionally by all, which then makes myself not play the blame game or woe is me. Cannot thank you for the time afforded to me during my recovery from my diagnosis.

Exactly what you'd expect from a spoons, was packed but service still great

Fish was so small today, could have been a fish finger. After complaining was told nothing wrong with size of fish. Won't be having it again.

Great prices. Easy to order on app, fast service. Some staff didn't seem to want to be there and not very polite but others were very welcoming.

Ine of the best places to eat good and well. The prices are good.

Usually type of Spoons pub and this is a great little boozer in Wellingborough. You can drop in have a couple and a meal if you wish and leave

I was surprised at how good the food was. It was decent lager and quite comfortable.

Everytime I go the food is cold, bacon so dry it gets stuck in your throat, eggs undercooked. Cold chips and overcooked sausages. Had a pizza one and I couldn't pick it up because it would fall apart with the amount of grease dripping from it

Got served quite quickly. Could not fault the food or service.

Waited over an hour, hour 25min for my food. Had to go up ask how long. Got told be another 30min. Wasn't happy. But didn't wait that long. After got told it be that long. I do believe myself and family was forgotten. Finally food come to us after an hour and 25min. Was over done. Burnt and we felt sick after the food. Only thing that was quick and nice. Was coke and ice.

Just the place for tasty quick lunch and very cheap beer.

Chose the breakfast muffin offer to include coffee but realised afterwards that a small breakfast with separate drinks would have provided more food at a lower cost. Anyway bacon was nicely cooked and tasty and along with a nice runny egg it made a pleasant breakfast which was much cheaper than we would have got at the pub we stayed at.

It's a spoons you get what you pay for no messing about

The food was absolutely amazing, it is normal pub food you'll find anywhere, however the food was more and true to the size of the plate, absolutely definitely and well plated. The atmosphere was loud, but it was a pub afterall. service was good, though maybe there was less staff members and too much costumers at that time, made them a bit slow at times.

A good place close to Morrisons supermarket which allow you to park up to 3hrs free. The food is good however service could be a little faster at times. Recommend

Went for breakfast, some foods were over cooked, but ok for the price, the service was ok but staff could do with more training, as tables were dirty around us for the whole hour we were there, the servers would deliver your food but give it over other people's food rather then go round to the other side of the table.

Service was shocking asked for our table to be cleared which I did myself in the end Girl behind the bar didn’t smile once all the time I stood there. Manager special are only advertised on the bar when most people order on the app

A few months ago my father was in the Redwell and it was so dark he asked the staff if they could put some lights on. Sorry, no, was the reply. We are not allowed to put the lights on. We can only assume that Mr. Spoons was looking to save on his electric bill. Today the sun is shining and it's very pleasant outside, however, Mr. Spoons must have cash to burn as the air conditioning is in full flow. It's actually quite cold in the Redwell, so cold I'm off to the Old England where I can enjoy a pint and not feel cold. Come on Mr. Spoons, think of that electric bill and your cold customers 😬

Cheap breakfast and not bad at all for £5.

Good place for both food and drink. Great value and consistent quality. Gets crowded at lunchtime so go early at 12pm or later at 2pm if you want a better experience.

Another entry into the Wetherspoons portfolio and another 'Spoons by numbers. Cheap food and drinks in a budget environment. More than happy with our traditional breakfasts cooked nicely and delivered quickly. The pub feels a bit tired and in need of a spruce up, but other than that, no complaints here.

Hidden gem on a rainy night! I ducked into this place for a cup of tea while waiting for my late-night bus. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly - a lifesaver after a long day!

One of the worst wetherapoons I've been in. The drinks ordered were all delivered wrong. When I queried it the lady behind the bars attitude left a lot to be desired. The bloke collecting empties had a top of that smelled of stale sweat , it was gag inducing. The whole place was loud , with one group having drinking competitions. I'm usually a fan of spoons but this one and the management of it left a lot to be desired

Iam as guilty as anyone when only posting reviews when things are below expections.Today 9May,which is a curry day i had Sri Lankan prawn and fish curry washed down with a pint of Abbot Rererve[other ales and non alcoholic drinks available ,the latter at a lowerprice. Meal came promptly on a warm plate,good portion of chunks of tasty fish and prawns which also had flavour.I have bought frozen/chilled fish/prawns at supermarkets which are so bland. Cost of meal and drinks £10.02,i defy you to beat this for price and most impotanty quality. The meal also came with naan bread and 2 plain pappadoms[thanks to Monika for explaining the menu.PS cill rating is 3/5

It's a low grade westhersoon. Near stale beer and microwaved food. Cheap though you get what you pay for.

First time at this Spoons, its quite a large pub on High Street at the junction with Oxford Street. I went there for an evening meal and also breakfast all very good. Standard spoons quality you would expect from all Spoons. Would recommend.

Used to be an ok pub for a quick beer. Seems to be very, very badly managed lately with some rude staff bickering with each other and customers too....food is average and toilets are in very bad shape..could do with a good clean. Without any warning.. They will just pick up your pint at the end of the night and throw it down the sink when they are about to close..so watch that. Who would go back to a pub that behaves like that anyway. Very unusual for a Wetherspoons pub..which are usually quite good. Steer clear of this dirty pub..plenty of other pubs in the area that are much better and cleaner, Customer service zero,

Quiet since it was a huge restaurant and wasn't really busy. Gentle waitresses and cheap beers. Food was OK. But nothing ro remark that made it special, just as expected.

I called this place from Canada, I'm a chef and had a fish and chips question, figured I'd go straight to the source. Jackie there was super helpful and polite. Haven't tried their food, but the service is great!

Cheap meal, staff OK, atmosphere there was none

I went there with my family for my dad's birthday. The place was rather quiet as it was on a school night. The food was okay, I don't recommend the American cheeseburger though, and the halloumi fries were the best. It was cheap, only like 20-30£ a person. And of course as it was a pub, the service was okay, not any better or worse than what you expect. I recommend it if you want to get some alright and cheap food with your mates.

Nice and cozy pub, with a nice decoration that creates a very cozy atmosphere, attentive and very friendly staff. It has a wide variety of beers and a small snack menu. We tried the wings and they were very good. Highly recommended place.

Vegan breakfast is absolutely awesome. I've been ordering extra mushrooms, tomatoes, and hashbrowns as I don't think the breakfast comes with enough. But it's super tasty. The bar team were very friendly and helpful. So if you want a cheap, tasty vegan English breakfast, this is definitely a place that can offer you that.

Wellingborough Pub Crawl, Pub #4 (30-11-23) Our last Pub and a Weatherspoons Pub so you no what you get, 2 John Smiths and found a seat, orded burger and chips at a reasonable price but was like a kids meal, get what ypu pay for but the service was quick, the usual customers and noisy, people eating and the usual coffee drinkers as buy one and unlimited refills, an ok pint.

A great selection of real ale well kept and nicely served

The breakfast was ok. Bacon was basically put from all the leftovers to my plate!!! When asked about it the rude manager didn’t even apologise or offered anything in its place. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Efficient service, know their business, while dealing with diverse clientele. Vert good staff, very , very good value, yet the meal was not expensive, because the the food and presentation was mutch better than their competitors. Well done. 13th May, steak and12 chips, great value, service good, staff on good form. A good place to eat with good value. Remember it is pub. 25th Aug. Had ham, egg and chips. Quick service, price has risen a little; what do you expect, good value, hot, with good atmosphere. Still highly recommended. Lucky beer drinkers, good value, good variety. Well done the staff.0

It's a Wetherspoons, so it's nothing special, but food is good enough, service is good enough and atmosphere is always good. If it's a cheap place for a meal and drinks you're after, I'd recommend it.

Waited quite a while for food and drinks ordered even though it didn't seem over busy for food orders then had to send the panini back as it was like a rock and the sausages were missing from the breakfast we'd ordered. Plate was red hot when it was given to me and burnt my thumb but NO apology given !!! Generally rubbish service on this occasion 😳

There Beef Madras is better than any Indian Restaurant

Honestly went to today for a quick drink we were walking by and thought would pop in we happened to stay for lunch fish and chips and scampi and chips was fantastic the fish was lovely and fresh lovely crispy hot chips and the scampi was fantastic as well can’t wait to go again if you’ve not tried it you definitely should

My burger was so burnt it had hole's in it and I was then told I made the holes with my folk. It also left me feeling very unwell. We also asked for some side roasted vegetables (was thinking carrots, Coliflower, broccoli ect) and got roasted peppers. The heinz ketchup is either watered down or its not heinz 🤢 which made it taste even worse.

Gorgeous food here....."in this Spoons"! Atmosphere was lovely on a baking hot mid week lunchtime, aircon on and a gentle buzz of conversation....smothered chicken cooked to perfection, crispy chips and veg....just enough ice in our drinks to not fill the glass...service was quick, friendly and price was ideal.....more ideal....no cooking on a boiling hot evening!! Visited 2 times last week (Aug 23) on both occasions our meals were piping hot on very hot plates compliments to the chef

Tried to order food on Saturday at 6pm. No food available. Abysmal even by Wetherspoons standards.

This pub has the highest sale of ales per sq ft in the county.But there seem to be an issue regarding the guest ales.Lodged a complaint on 21 July,got a reply quickly from customer services,and one from pub 10 min later. The reply said lines being cleaned(they have some spare lines) Accepting that went in 22hrs later same 2 ales on but the pumps (being cleaned !) were still out of use. Spoke to the shift manager,stated 4 guest ales on app ,reply was i will remove the 2 not on sale .(were on sale earlier in week and were gone) She stated we only have to have 2 guest ales on. Looked at the app later in day 4 ales on. ! Went in Sunday 4 on sale no problem. Dan the shift manager has built up the ale sales(quantoty and Quality) but if they are looking to push out those not wanting Abbbot/Ruddles/Doombar they are doing this well. Today 27 July walked through at 1030 and 1330 choice of 2 went home (same as yesterdays brief visit

Roomy pub with lots of seating. Thought i would try the breakfast whilst my car was being serviced. I ordered the Big Breakfast with a black coffee. I got my coffee and condiments and shortly after the breakfast had arrived. So super quick service. Firstly after buttering my toast, i tried the eggs which were warm at best and only just done, the beans were warm. The Bacon was very stringy and fatty. The sausage were okay and again only warm and had a herby taste. To be honest the best thing really was the toast, which came with Lurpak butter. Overall disappointed. Nice pub, and some great offers on drinks and food, and the service is good. Just need to overhaul the breakfast, make a few changes. I would rather wait another ten minutes and get a hot breakfast.

I ordered grilled spicy chicken, but not at all spicy. I asked chilli sauce, and he said they don't serve, charged .80p for one chilli.

Op advies hier gaan eten, helaas was onze ervaring iets minder met dit restaurant, het was erg druk wellicht dat dit van invloed was. Principe van eten/drinken bestellen aan de bar is prima , helaas waren er problemen met het pinnen waardoor het betalen vertraging opliep, ik had zelf een haloumi burger helaas was deze te hard gebakken waardoor de smaak verloren ging . Voor ons helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
