A great traditional pub with great facilities, garden and food. Everything you'd expect from a well stocked newly renovated village pub set in a picturesque village. Yet to try their Sunday roast but heard it's amazing!

Popped in for a bite to eat on a Sunday afternoon, sat in the lovely garden, we both had a burger and shared some loaded fries, we were not disappointed, the food was delicious, I’ve never tasted such flavoursome fries, will certainly be back👍

Great pub we fell into. The garden is amazing and the pub has a lovely feel. We had a 'Small plate'. I had a chicken waffle which was lovely and my wife had a prawn and chorizo taco. The mains however looked incredible. Definitely going back for the chicken burger. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

We dined outside at Wythies and enjoyed amazing burgers and fries in a beautiful garden with super nice staff, it's dog friendly and also child friendly with high chairs available. The whole experience today was outstanding and easy on the wallet too. We had 2 Cowboy Killer Burgers, a Caesar Burger and Ranch Fries to share, 1 pint of coke plus 2 x J20's all for under £50. Although some people might say "It's only burgers and chips", let me enlighten you. I am a classically trained chef and I know my ballotine from my galantine, I removed myself from the catering rat race many years ago. However the attention to detail in the open kitchen was evident as was the execution of the flavours. The chef here has pride in every aspect of what he is doing and it shows. The experience had a great blend of an American diner feel that has been polished and refined by a true English Pub. To sum it up "We will be back".

Sitting here and doing reviews, this pub came up, and I have no recollection of how it was. Can't of been negative as I'd have remembered that, it can't of been outstanding either....so, it must of been nice and decent. This is a positive, so if you're around, pop in for a drink and meal. It won't be jaw-dropping and worthy of yarns around a campfire 50 years from now, but decent and worthy of a recommendation to your mates from work.

We visited today to try the Sunday roast dinner. I am so pleased we did, it was well presented and oh so flavoursome. The staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It is a little more expensive but totally worth it. Will definitely be back

Genuinely one of the best roast dinners I've ever had. Amazing Yorkshire puddings, delicious beef, brimming with all the trimmings. Staff were fantastic; very polite and helpful. The indoors is lovely. The outdoors has to be the best pub garden setup for parents with young children. The ring of picnic benches around a central grass area is inspired. And the burger from the garden kitchen look great. We travelled about half an hour and would make the journey again. Can't recommend more highly.

The most amazing Sunday Roast we’ve ever had. The Beef was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening at the Queens Arms last night. Matilda helped organise a meal for 16 of us to celebrate our anniversary and recommended we pre-ordered our meals. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the customer service from Matilda and her team was just perfect. Many thanks for a lovely evening.

Popped in for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Very pleasant pub with a fantastic beer garden. Plenty of space and lots of seats/tables with umbrellas to cover from the sun. The garden has a separate food cabin, with a menu of burgers, loaded fries and hot dogs. The fries were excellent. Seating inside plentiful with another menu. Fantastic cocktails and even better 2 for £12. Separate bar for sports fans with large screen TVs. Dogs welcome. 5*

Why have I not found this place sooner!!!!

Good service and the herb and feta chicken was delicious. Very surprised that white wine by the glass only extended to Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon. I feel in this day and age a decent pub like this should be accommodating different tastes and this was so limited I had to order cider instead. An Albariño or Chenin Blanc or an unoaked Chardonnay would surely attract much interest

Lovely, well kept pub. I really liked the decor inside, it seems to have been recently renovated or is just very well looked after. The staff were fun and friendly. 10 of us spent a Saturday afternoon here; sipping beers and chomping the best burgers I've had in ages. We had no issues finding somewhere to sit outdoors, as it's very well planned out with loads of picnic benches. If I had to offer one suggestion; some spare outdoor seats kicking about for groups slightly larger than the picnic benches can seat. Will definitely come back here! Edit: especially after pictures, from other reviews, of the food from the evening menu!

Brilliantly done pub with impeccably great staff, nothing comes close in the area.

We had a great meal. The food was delicious. Small menu but we felt that was better as the attention to detail was good. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.

We went to the QA yesterday (Friday) for dinner. The service, beer and food were all brilliant. I had the lamb, which was absolutely awesome. Can't recommend the QA enough, see you again soon!!👍😋

Had the Sunday Roast (beef) with a pint of bitter followed by chocolate brownie. Service was good and the food was delicious, although roast beef was too rare for my taste, there was nothing wrong with it, just down to personal preference. There were 6 adults and one child. We were made very welcome and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Amazing pub come rain or shine. Summer is great here with the burger shack in the garden serving the best burgers for miles. Friendly staff and delicious food. The winter is just as good with a cosy atmosphere inside. Come here every week and will continue to do so

Great food with a small selection of dishes. The starter of calamari was perfectly cooked and not chewy. The Ham hock and curry we had for mains was also very good. A reasonable wait between courses, so can highly recommend.

Visited on a Wednesday evening, couldn't find anything on menu that liked so asked for larger portion of kids scampi and chips. Was told couldn't do that so had x2 kids portion. Scampi was over cooked and small pieces obviously frozen food just cooked, so disappointed, wouldn't recommend for food.

I have visited the Queens Arms many times and the food and service is always excellent. I would highly recommend this pub.

Strange as it sounds, just rang to book a table, but not taking bookings for food in their restaurant on a Sunday. Very strange, but custom lost.

One of the best Sunday dinners we’ve had! Crispy skin on the chicken, tasty veg, amazing pot of gravy on the side and the most delicious cauliflower cheese I’ve had. We chose two courses and also had halloumi bites to start which were incredible. We also had a kids mini Sunday roast and it was the perfect size. Chicken already shredded, not too much veg and again, little pot of gravy which he loved pouring in himself. Will definitely be back, 10/10.

This is a really nice pub. Unfortunately we tried booking for a wake and they didn’t seem interested. Called twice and finally visited the pub. Every time had our details taken down and not contacted despite being told it wouldn’t be a problem. What’s really annoying is we have family connections to Orlingbury going over 300 years and management didn’t even have the courtesy to return a call despite telling us every time that they would. Had lots of nice memories as a kid in this pub with my dad but that’s how things go. Our custom clearly wasn’t wanted or needed. We held wake at a pub in the next village in the end, management seemed very appreciative of our custom and we was made to feel welcome so money went there instead.

Great roast dinner, very generous portion with all the trimmings and catered for food allergy. Lovely pub and friendly staff.

We went for Sunday lunch and had 3 courses. For starter we had pork belly bites and halloumi, these were both so nice. For main we both had the roast beef, it was amazing the beef was pink and cooked to perfection, the potatoes were crispy which is rare when you go out for a roast, loved the pigs in blanket and cauliflower cheese. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and wow this was so good too. 10/10 would recommend, the best roast around here.

Lovely roast dinner, to be honest needed a bigger plate.

The pub itself has a great outdoor area to sit and eat and on site parking. Inside it’s tastefully decorated with a side bar just for drinking. Based on other reviews I wonder whether I chose an off day to visit as my choices of food my limited to the small plates menu and not what other photos have portrayed. I thought the home cooked brisket mac n cheese was lovely - I would’ve happily had that as a main. I don’t think the the small plates really complement each other - too many flavour profiles for one sitting. We weren’t the only people in the room scratching our head. Maybe another try with a different menu will change my perception of the food.

BEST SUNDAY ROAST. Perfectly cooked and excellent portion. Beautifully presented. Don't wait. Go and eat it

My boyfriend and I visited the Queen’s Arms for the first time on Saturday and we had a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. We both had the confit garlic bread to start which was delicious and a nice twist on a classic garlic bread as you get roasted garlic cloves to spread on the sourdough along with roasted tomatoes and basil to add on top yourself. We both then had the burger with American cheese, caramelised onions, bacon and garlic mayo and it was so good! The burger meat was quality and the chips were also lovely! We also had the brownie and cheesecake which was also delicious! A lovely evening and highly recommend.

We absolutely love the Queens Arms! Lovely staff, great food and always good fun. Especially love the outdoor seating and they are in fact very dog friendly. We take our two retrievers all the time and they love it just as much as we do.

Great village pub with a decent selection of beers and wines. It has a lovely garden out the back with tables for customers to sit in the sunshine. They also have live bands set up on a stage purpose built in the garden. Overall a lovely pub well worth a visit.

Disappointed. Had tried to get in at Wythmails but was full. Thought it a good opportunity to try the Queen's Arms. After experiencing Wythmails so many times we expected more. Around 40 minutes wait from ordering to getting our food. I had toyed with the idea of one of the starters as a main but was told that wasn't possible. When it finally arrived I thought I'd been brought a starter in error. I'd ordered the Belly Pork main. Virtually no vegetables. Apparently vegetables were extra, under 'sides' and around £4 but that wasn't clear from the menu. We were offered our drinks FOC which in no way made up for the general disappointment. Won't be rushing back any time soon. Pity, because I love Wythmails.

Absolutely criminal price for the portion of food we got with our Platters, mainly made up with bread that was burnt. Will not be coming back again.

Called into this pub as we have been to the coffee shop owned by the same people which we love. Asked a young man if there was any chance of lunch for two told abruptly no fully booked,any chance if food in the bar area which was empty told no. Had a drink,loads of staff hanging around coming out if the kitchen eating food? No new customers came in and several tables empty the whole time we sat having a drink. The place has been tastefully renovated and the garden area is very smart. Thought the staff seemed very inexperienced.

Food tasted nice but very little of it. Only one veggie option which was really disappointing. No side orders and very limited menu.Very expensive for what you got on your plate.Would never eat there again.Sorry.

Probably the Best food I have had in Northamptonshire. We went here last night for dinner, the pub has been done out really nicely, the garden looks amazing.now for the food, .menu was perfect, I had the scallops and the venison loin, both were amazing and bot cooked perfectly. Other guest had the beef and to start the duck, all were delicious. I enjoyed so much 3ven had a lovely sponge dessert. Simple selection of wines to accompany the meal.so enjoyed I can't wait to go back.

Would highly reccomend this local village pub, the staff are extremely friendly and the service is fantastic, the outdoor area features an amazing beer garden with many seats and parasols for sunny days. The food, although only served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, is so good that I am completely contempt with it only being served on those days. The value for money is good, but don't expect it to remain that way, as I'm certain the prices will increase.

A great newly refurbished pub that serves food. Typical pub fare done very well and with extra care. We really enjoyed our visit and they went the extra mile to help us out as well. Very friendly and helpful. Clean toilets and a really nice garden.

Great food, setting, faultless service. 6 meals and plenty of drinks for a shade over £200, £70 per couple. Highly recommended and will visit again.
