One bar staff who was run off his feet, at least 20 people waiting, a lot walked out , for goodness sake give the manager enough budget to staff the bar. Spoons are loosing more in lost customers than they would if they employed another bar staff 🤦

Good food good staff just not enough staff especially when a customer was causing trouble 5 stars to the staff its always been good

It's OK in here..sometimes hard to get served and lots of smelly people around..great prices , always clean etc and nice to sit out in the summer. Glad we have this in our town.

Great little pub. Very clean and tidy. Parking right next to it. Limited time because shared with Iceland. Friendly staff.

First time visiting today. Ordered our drinks and food, the drinks came, then we had to wait, wait, and wait. The food eventually arrived. I have never had to cut through massed potatoes, which had formed a skin on the top. The mushy peas were dry and looked like had been painted onto the plate. The gravy came in a gravy boat, as I poured it out, it came out in several lumps. The meat pie was not to bad. None of us enjoyed the meals, the people at the next table left more of the food they had ordered and on the way out we heard other complaining about the dry chips. We won't be going there again and we most certainly do not recommend the place, the table was a mess and not been wiped down and cups from who sat there before were left on the table.. not a good experience at all.

Wide range of beers at competitive

Gone down hill rapidly. Place filthy and fruit flies around the bar... At this time of year as well shocking. Carling was flat.

The pub needs to be shut down and revamped. It is depressing.

Great bar staff really friendly, sat at table with no nimber, ordered food had to go and fetch it. Items missing from order. All in all not the best visit :(

The Lady Chatterley is a Wetherspoon's establishment, consequently the prices you pay for food and drink really do take some beating. £5, 16 for two pints of Carling!! I can pay £5, 80 for a single pint in other pubs I go to. I find that the atmosphere is light and unintimidating . If there's anything lacking it's in the fact that there's a lot of transient custom, so for me it doesn't generate what I might term as a genuine pub atmosphere. No worry though. The conveniences have been attracting comments in the local media as to the trek you have to make to get to them , but also how lavish they are once you get there. There is also disability facilities, so none of this is a problem. All in all a pleasant, trouble free experience

Good Wetherspoons with excellent food but no parking

First time in here, definitely not going to be the last. The lad behind the bar was brilliant. Remembered my order and was very nice! The man collecting glasses was sooo helpful. My husband is on crutches and he helped him to the disabled loo. Nice atmosphere, warm, cosy very clean and as always the beer was spot on!

The food was very good to be fair and the Coffee was endless and the staff were cheerful.

We go here for breakfast quite a bit, always nice and also clean for a weatherspoons

Service was slow. When food arrived half was the wrong order. Half had to wait because of delay...other half felt they had to rush as people waiting to move on.... Not the best experience 😕

Had a curry food was hot staff friendly.

Just a nice change to the other spoons I've visited with the added bonus of being in a lovely little town where the famous author came from.

Great chean and cheerful food, service always efficient especially if you use the app, very clever. Food is always consistent, great value and tasty.

Went here for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Very good breakfast, served quickly and qualit. Refillable hot drinks. Very good value.

We went to Chatterleys for breakfast to celebrate my sons 18th. They’d reserved a table for 20 of us and the food order came out quickly, together and hot. There was some repair work ongoing which they apologised for and the 2 lads who were serving us were brilliant. We had a lovely time. I’ve had mixed reviews over the years of this pub but this time they pulled it out of the bag. 5 stars.

Good food, service and atmosphere, i am not a locsl but have visited this establishment on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed my time there. The staff are polite and hardworking, food is always prompt and warm and the customers make the visit pleasant they are friendly and welcoming.

A very popular wetherspoons pub, I should think it's busy for most of the day,,,,,,, good food sometimes a bit noisy but service was excellent with all the usual attributions, that you'd expect.

Another decent Wethetspoons establishment. What else can I say. The menu is getting a little better, just a pity that Sunday lunch hasn't made a comeback.

One of the better Wetherspoons pubs. The food was still warm when it arrived and the lad (with the longish hair) was very polite and efficient.

Excellent Wetherspoon pub. Surprisingly large.

Have been coming here ever since it has opened for a breakfast, which at the time for the price it was absolutely excellent, but this past year or two, the breakfast has been nearly stone cold,no matter how we complain about it no excusefor cold food,,the staff keep getting the orders wrong, qaulity of food very poor bacon especially, no longer worth the money no matter how cheap the food is, also this is of the same opinion of quite a few people

I do like going to this place, however the food is always hit and miss, it's either good or bad, (over cooked, under cooked) the staff are friendly the place is quite quirky too just a shame about the food and the mt Everest toilets, (not good when you have had a few and you aren't disabled)

Staff are surly and disorganised. Management is none existent, surly staff that have no direction. The lovely atmosphere of the last year as been completely changed. The food was cold and inedible, the pub was dirty and not one table looked like it had been cleaned . Certainly won’t be returning. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star

Very poor admin/door staff. My wife and I arrived around 8.45 on Saturday evening and were refused admission by the door man on the grounds that the pub was full. His English language wasn't so good. There were people having a smoke outside who told us that it wasn't full inside. We could actually see inside and it wasn't full. I thought he was joking! It's not as if we are undesirables. I am a 65 year old respectable businessman. He didn't even ask us to wait until someone left the pub. We turned around and walked away, but as we looked back, we could see people leaving. We thought about going back but had been so upset by the doorman's attitude that we di dn't want to spend money at a place that didn't want us. We walked a couple of hundred yards to the "Dog & Parrot" where we had a lovely night and spent our money there. Note to the manager.... What is going on in your establishment. Seek him out and get rid. He's doing you a disservice because I won't be coming back!

Went in for breakfast on 31 December 2022, my partner had been ill and wanted some soft fluffy scrambled eggs. When they arrived on the toast, they were barely warm and rubbery. Inedible, basically. When she took them back and asked for a replacement, the girl serving said 'That's how they come'. We won't be back again.

Had another breakfast here today, with endless coffee. Service was great and fast although the breakfast wasn't that warm, which was a shame as I would have given 5* if it wasn't for that. The heating was also broken but engineers were on site fixing it. Will still be going back for another breakfast as it is good value for money

Cheap, the table service is good and you know what to expect.

Been a couple of times for food and it's always been decent. Always friendly staff too.

Were under staffed when i visited so not a true representation. But some of the breakfast was cold and the coffee machine had run out of coffee. Staff were friendly however.

First visit to this pub..was nop notch loved it there..we were lucky and got the managers special of a mixed grill for £4.99 was cooked perfectly very clean and busy pub....

Looks lovely from outside but grubby inside. Needs vacuuming desperately and the tables need clearing of dirty plates and glasses. Very sad to see as I'm a big Weatherspoons fan but this needs attention or more staff. It's not even than busy at the time of our visit ..... we went elsewhere.

We live in Eastwood. 66 years. Had a meal here. My wife said hers was crap. Cold, not as described. Awful. Mine, mixed grill. 11 chips. Cold peas. Used to have breakfast here but always cold. Been to Wetherpoons this year in York, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Each meal was great. Would go again. Advice. Avoid this place for food except for cheap drinks. Never again.

Lived in Eastwood 66 years. Went tonight for our first meal. My wife's was cold and not as described. I had large mixed grill. 11 chips, cold peas. Been this year to York, Worcestershire and Herefordshire Wetherpoons. All were great. We won't be eating here ever again.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming, they go beyond to help you , lovely food and beautiful decor.

Very disappointed with the meal. Asked for well done gourmet steak. A lady came over and told us they had no Mediterranean salad which was not we asked for . We want through what we asked for to be told you had no garden peas . Got the meal with rare steak when it was supposed to be well done and non of the other items that came with it . We was not the only customers that complained about the steak nit being cooked to their liking. Will not recommend Eastwood weatherspoons .

The pub itself is attractive and well set out and comfortable. However parking is at a premium and the Iceland car park next door allows parking for one hour only. It would be helpful if Wetherspoons staff could remind customers of this fact as a friend got fined £170 recently as he had moved house and not received the penalty letter. The barman was friendly and helpful. The other member of staff was indifferent to the point of rudeness, no eye contact or smile. Very small selection of guest ales. Ok if you're not a fan of real ale.
