Go check out the Halloween and xmas stuff..it fabulous

Visited to check out bird feeding stations! Very busy in the car park. Couldn't believe the amount of space being given over for Halloween tat, but if people are buying it then fair enough. Busy in the cafe, plenty of tables free, but several hadn't been cleared from previous occupants. Plenty of staff milling about, but apparently clearing tables wasn't their job. More training and supervision required. On the positive side it's still a good garden centre and the food and drinks sold in the cafe are very good.

Stopped off here for a look around and a snack, very nice.

Visited here today 13/10, really loved all the Xmas decorations slowly coming into stock, along with all the traditional products often seen. We had a brunch at the Cafe which was delicious, and served very quickly considering how busy it was! A really well run, place and great for just a potter around and to have a cup of tea. Highly recommended!

Good garden centre, with a reasonably good range and quality of plants. There is a huge cafe/restaurant which is lovely, but it's a bit strange to have to find a table, then queue for 5 minutes in the service area, then wait at the table for the food. Some great gifts for Christmas near the tills.

Always the best christmas display out of all the garden centres. This year though, you have took it to an even greater level. You have done it so beautifully for the kids as well as for the adults to enjoy. The food was lovely as always in the cafe too. Friendly staff throughout the shop Well done. 👏

Only visited the indoor area as the weather was awful and raining. The shopping area felt old and tatty and we only stayed ten minutes. The Christmas display area was being set up although no staff were visible doing this which made the whole retail area feel disjointed and untidy. Not a great visit after not visiting for a number of years.

It's always nice .getting ready for Christmas, so parts shut off to public, but enough to see and buy .staff are always helpful

Horrific customer service. Was sold an item that was nothing like the photo and they refused to offer free return. Had to fork out £10 for return shipment. Do not buy from these scammers.

Good place to visit on a rainy day. Plenty to browse indoors. A little too cramped to navigate easily with a wheelchair. Cafe good but a little over priced. Too many curtained off areas being prepared with Christmas displays. Good size car park.

This is such a lovely garden centre, it has just about everything you need for indoor and outdoor. The cafe food is excellent.

Excellent place for all your gardening essentials plus a great restaurant

Had a mid-morning meal with me having a breakfast & my wife having a cheese & onion pasty & chips. Both were excellent - the locally sourced ingredients were very tasty & in this day & age, the smallest number of road miles from farm to plate is increasingly important. Best bit? A block of butter per toast slice - heaven! Great food & a really great place to eat! Highly recommended.

Large shopping area, with many themed displays. I only went for compost and gravel, but there is rather a lot of browsing to do. They have recently had a fair bit of work done so more of the plants are under cover. Everything for your outdoor space including live fish and a decent selection of young trees. Good range of quality toys and gifts, and a cafe - the smell of the food being cooked made me salivate but I did not stay to sample their meals.

Lovely garden centre, nice new roof extension outside so ideal for browsing when it's wet and miserable.

Lovely to just have a walk around and have a coffee a well stocked and some great items

A gift shop/cafe with a couple of plants. Every time I visit another area has been taken from the plants to make way for more gift items or expanding the cafe. The place has been continously loosing its identity as a garden centre over the past few years, a real shame.

Had coffee and cake with a friend in Digg In cafe and got some lovely half price plants.

Cafe ok, but difficult to find and badly signed from the drive end.

It’s a little tired, but contains a lot of stuff. Maidenhead aquatics is there as well and is well stocked for fishy needs. We went to the cafe but after looking at the menu decided to leave it as although lots of tables the queue to be served was long and slow.

Heard Trowell Garden Centre had been done up ,but on arrival we were disappointed. It doesn't seem to have changed since the last time we went,which was at least 4 years ago. Not going again.😞😞

Extensive choices, as always, plenty of parking, helpful staff. Thanks to everyone.

Lots of merchandise, fantastic cafe

Nice garden centre but seems a bit silly having a 2.1m height barrier to the car park as I couldn’t get through in my campervan and had to park outside down the lane

Never been before. Rang customer service to make enquiries and asked quite a lot of questions The lady I spoke to wasn't phased at all in fact she was extremely friendly, helpful and professional I am really looking forward to my first visit (can't wait)

We decided to get a bite to eat after looking for several plants that we wanted and we both were really impressed with the food. We had a ham and egg salad roll and a cheese scone. Drinks were a cold can of diet coke and a coffee. We were full after such a simple brunch and both of us were impressed with the quality of the food. We have decided to go back near Christmas to see what is for sale and to have a cooked meal. Lovely brunch.

Came here as I have heard good things about it. The staff in the cafe need to brush up on their customer skills. I was told at 11.20am breakfast was finished and they were now serving their lunch menu. Started to tell the assistant my order she then randomly walked off, no explanation, she then came back so I could finish my order. They messed up the drinks order and I had to wait while they redid the drinks, they then forgot one of the drinks and I had to ask again for this drink to be done. There was no apology and it just seemed very chaotic. The cakes weren't great that we had and didn't taste very fresh. I won't be returning as there are better garden centre cafes that offer better quality and value for money.

Love this garden centre, plants look well cared for and not overly pricey. Lovely shop for a browse and the cafe is also very good.

Been a couple times for breakfast recently always been lovely and service is quick but you do have to get there early-ish or it can get super busy

Good food in the digg cafe great selection of Christmas decorations and gifts, we were there 11:45 and didn't have to wait long to be seated in the cafe but it was very busy by 12:30.

This is our favourite garden centre, and now it's even better with all of the upgrades they have done (are doing) making the indoor area even bigger and better. They seem to have increased the range of things they do, no matter what you want to do to your garden they are most likely to have it. What can you find here. A large car park, everything is on the ground level, they have three types of trolley for you to use, full toilet facilities, an excellent cafe with a decent menu and prices akin to that of other places. At Christmas time they have a model village on display, apparently this year (2024) it is going to be the biggest and best yet, so this will be something to look forward too. There is a lot to explore here, it is well worth a visit, the cafe has outdoor and indoor seating. As well as everything for your garden, pond, aquarium and a cafe they have a huge range of gifts, toys, and novelties.

Waited an hour for 2 breakfasts. Wasn’t told the wait would be this long when ordering. After asking about food we’re told there were still tickets ahead of us, as we watched people come after us and get the same thing we ordered delivered… the toilets were also terrible, had not been cleaned and no toilet roll. Won’t be returning.

Cafe is ok. The centre has a wide variety of items but small choice. Small garden centre compared to some. If you're looking for a quick stop or a meeting place -great! Or if you're just after basic gardening items. If not, don't expect much.

Lovely selection of gifts and plants, parking can be a challenge, but probably testament to its popularity. The Christmas displays are very well done with themed sections suiting most tastes and styles

We have a van that's over 2 meters and won't fit under the barrier. We called ahead and they said they would open the barrier, after waiting 20 minutes no one came. Called again and they said they would only open the barrier for ' a mini bus full of children or very old people '. They had no idea of my age or the passengers I had. I had intentions of purchasing some tree's, compost and planters. I ended up going elsewhere.

Bad till service in the cafe the lady impolite she raise her voice like sound shouting unpresent .. to customers. Make me don’t want to order.

Having purchased an outdoor clock, solar and ant killer, we appeared to activate the alarm leaving the garden centre. A young assistant ran towards us and asked if I had make up in my bag??? When I said no and showed her the receipt, she then asked if I had a knee or hip replacement????? What on earth gives them the right to ask such a personal question in front of other customers (one of whom was outraged that I had been asked and said I should complain!) Needless so say that I was able to confirm that I had indeed paid for my items and not stolen anything from them! I don't think I'll be rushing back to there anytime soon! 😡

Love this place for the aquatic supplies, Maidenhead aquatics are not the cheapest but they tend to have very good quality stock. The garden center itself is very well stocked and plants are very good quality

Really good garden centre with some good quality items. We bought our garden furniture from here and it's been great, but not the cheapest. There's also a nice cafe that's well worth a visit, but it's always fairly busy.

We go here a fair bit as it's a nice garden centre we'll set out . I like to use Unwins seeds and it's one of the rare centres you can get them . Undergoing major improvements outside currently so a little bit limited out there . Really good cafeteria with good food and service . But like all garden centres these days , they know how to charge ! .

One of the worst customer experiences, laughed at by the staff On arriving was told cash only as their card machine was down ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and drinks. After half hour no food had arrived, and a couple who had just sat down at a nearby tables food was served I queried this with the waitress. Who returned and said sorry they had misplaced our order, as we had finished our drinks by this point I asked for a refund and went to the till. The lady at the other till laughed at me and my wife for waiting for food. Initially the lady serving us offered a £10 refund when our food was £12. Finally persuaded her to refund the food and the drinks and advised that laughing at your customers isn’t appropriate Used to spend a fair amount at trowel but now boycotting from now

Always happy going around this garden centre looking at all the wicked waterfalls and colourful and well looked after plants. All the customer service assistants are all very helpful.

Walking all the way round the store to pay for something is stupid idea when u have something heavy to pay for, the store layout is rubbish

Got to say disappointed overall. It's busy and expensive and neither are justified! I had an omelette with salad - mediocre to say the least, buy pricey. Sorry, won't be back anytime soon.

Only went for lunch. A little pricey but great quality and quantity of food. Very noisy but it was school holidays. Will definitely come again

Got what we needed the cafe was very busy parking was a struggle and uneven

Came for breakfast with the family this morning. It was really lovely. Most had the light breakfast which was 1 sausage (really nice quality), bacon, half a tomato, mushrooms, scrambled egg, Hash brown and a slice of toast for just over £6 highly recommended.

This category includes a variety of indoor and outdoor gardening supplies, with a wide variety of outdoor flowers, plants, and trees, including garden houses and wood sheds to choose from. There is a restaurant, outdoor and outdoor, where you can enjoy your meal leisurely. It’s a great place to shop for gardening and take a walk around. It is being reset and a covered garden is being built. Spring flowers are on sale.

Had a problem with my ordering and the customer service sorted it out in a flash. The lady was lovely and very efficient.

Find a table, order from the counter with table number. Wait for drinks then sit and wait/chat for breakfast. Breakfast was good. 3 sizes. Light, full English, bigger.

Good garden centre a little hard to find. Great cafe would personally like a small area in the cafe that you can take your dog with you.

Always spolit for choice. Some great items for sale. They offer a great line of concrete garden ornaments as well.

Excellent garden centre. We haven't visited in a while but they've clearly extended it and there's loads of choice. Not just plants but lights tools etc. We'll worth a visit. We're lucky to have it so close.

Visited here today Thursday 29th Feb 2024 with wife and 18 month old grandson. Food and drinks were fine but just cannot believe what we were charged for the grandsons drink. He had a baby chino with oat Milk as he has an allergy, we were charged £1.49 for the baby chino and an extra £1 for the oat milk being £2.49 for a baby beaker cup. COSTA DO IT FOR FREE. very disappointing and a rip off.

Really nice place to go and spend a few hours, they have all the Christmas decs and the model village out at christmas, so be prepare to spend some money! And they have garden furniture out in the summer. the Digg cafe is nice to sit down, have some lunch in or a cup of tea and cake, friendly staff and good assortment of toys, food and other gift ideas for the festive season. They have a large car park, with disabled spaces, no steps. Toilets near the cafe and a large outdoor section for plants and fruit trees, they are extending this now, so you might have abit of construction noise. (Feb 2024)

Great gammon, chips and peas were not too good. Sauce packets were good. Drinks good. Had a bother parking as our van was too tall to get through barrier, but we managed to park just the other side of the barrier. Would go again but wouldn't have a meal. Maybe try a sandwich next time.

Brilliant place. You leave with more than you went for as the selection of items is incredible.

Food not too bad, it has increased in price recently. The one thing I object to is being charged 20p extra for either decaf coffee or decaf tea.

Normally a lovely place but not yesterday. Not allowed outside, and most of the inside was cordoned off to change displays. A message on the website would have been very useful!

Good upcoming garden centre. Has a great Christmas selection. Does keep up to seasonal trend well. Shame that outside was closed. However would go again. Cafe was great also, affordable and quality food.

Visited recently for a part for a garden hose. Found that week's after Christmas they are still trying to sell all the Christmas stock, outside is closed for some reason and overall the shop just looked unloved. Lots of staff around appearing to do very little while boxes are piled up in walkways. Never did find the part I wanted for the hose, or any garden tools at all? I thought certain a garden centre would be the place to go.

Fantastic place with good food, good plants and (at Christmas time) an excellent selection of Christmas products. The Lemax display was incredible!!! Will return
