Stopped on a cycle ride for a late breakfast and it was tremendous. Really good ingredients and a very fair price. Very friendly place too

Looks like it's a couple of guys running the show now. These guys are cool and the food hasn't taken a dive at all. Same exact sandwich I was getting fifteen years ago and the price is not outrageously different either. Get yourself the sausage and bacon boot mill or a double bacon.

Lunch was amazing. Dealt well with a big group and food was delicious. Sweet potato gnocchi with curried sweetcorn and kale was transcendentally good! Strongly recommend.

Wonderful meal what a gastonomic feast. Highly recommend. Only negative was the bar man after the meal was more interested in his admin than serving out the meal so we could get home.

Beautiful atmosphere filled with magical decorations and lights. The pies are really tasty and incredibly big! The steak and kidney pie (shortcut pastry - no options) was delicious, and so was the sausage, sage and apple one (puff pastry by choice). Despite having no room for dessert, the lemon meringue tart was very yummy. Arriving early (6pm) guaranteed us a table for a party of 4. Definitely going back soon!

Bijan’s Kitchen never fails to impress! Their food has remained fantastic over the years, making it the only place that truly satisfies my cravings for Iranian food. I feel so lucky to have this lovely restaurant nearby. The owners’ kindness and warm hospitality make every visit even more special. Highly recommended!

I stayed nearby for a little solo trip away and popped into here for my Wednesday evening treat. Atmosphere was delightful, staff so friendly, and the food was great - good for veggies too. One of the best pubs i've been to in a long time. The nostalgia of a toilet block separate from the pub building too. Just remember it's cash only.

Brilliant place food and service is excellent l would highly recommend anyone who wanted a warm welcoming pub so comfortable will definitely be going again
