Absolutely delicious Sunday roast, totally recommend it and all the staff are lovely.

Sunday carvery and singer on Sunday 27th October was absolutely amazing. Best carvery we have been to and what super entertainment after. Nice easy to listen dean martin type songs.

Another lovely carvery with a sing a long afterwards. Lovely food, staff and atmosphere keep it up .

Incredibly nice roast. Had one today at the six year wedding anniversary for my wife and I. We hired the venue in 2018 for our reception with harlow steel band. The roast is amazingly good value and the staff and service exceptional!

Well it's well kept course the green's are good for this time of year .The club house is very welcoming so is the pro shop .

I visited the Cannonsbrook Golf club on Friday. For a quiz night for a local cat charity. A nice venue to spend the evening, a nice bar with friendly staff. And the grounds were very nice, with plenty of parking. They also serve a Sunday lunch, although I haven't tried that. But I've heard it's good.

Definitely the best roast in Harlow. Food is just delicious. Ivy the chef is a genius. Staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Always a warm welcome from Sarah, Peter, Debbie, Chloe and max.

Lovely carvery. But beef was under cooked for me and sliced too thick . Too much blood and juices for my liking.

This is the ideal venue for a golden wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were fantastic as was the carvery, with a special thanks to Debbie who really looked after us.

First rate Christmas Lunch with the Gentle Circuits Group from the Leisurezone. Could not fault a thing. Just been for the carvery today and it was excellent.

Took part in a society day here in July, great challenging course, not for the feint hearted. Long par 3’s and greens were in top condition. Hospitality was spot on and food was smashing. Can’t wait to return

The course was a good challenge, and played fair . If you go on a Monday there is no food available! Changing rooms were clean but only one of the five showers worked, and on a hot day like today you needed a nice cool shower to revive yourself.

Good course and friendly guy at the pro shop. Not an easy track but well kept and a very interesting layout requiring good shot making. Recommend

Cannons Brook hosted our wedding on the 18th May 2024. From our first meeting with Peter we felt that we had found the perfect venue. Quaint, beautiful and perfect for what we wanted. From start to finish, Peter, Chloe and the team were nothing short of superb! Kind, friendly and helpful to the last. We cannot thank Cannons Brook and Peter enough for making our special day all the more wonderful. You guys are seriously good at what you do, Cannons Brook is an oasis and the Barn is just beautiful. Thank you all so very very much, we will never forget our day and every single guest has raved about the venue, food and team. Truly superb! ❤️

Have played golf there quite a few times. Some difficult but interesting holes. Great food.

A well kept golf course and lots of open fairways with a few dog legs. The club house is very nice and welcoming. Food looked nice and a good range of beers. 🍻👍🏌️⛳

Had a party In the club house last night and it was brilliant, great venue, lovely food and excellent staff

Firstly the staff are welcoming and couldn’t have done any more. The food was amazing and even the chef made friendly interactions with me and my finance while carving the meat, which I have never experienced before normally at other carvery's it’s just what meat do want and you get moved on Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere will be returning

Great place to be……. Greeted at the door by a very friendly man and shown our table. Had a lady come straight over and welcome us and take a drink order. The starter was very tasty, hot and came out very quickly. We then had the carvery which was amazing, very high quality food and lovely fresh vegetables. The desert was lovely and tasty too Great afternoon and to top it off we won a prize on the raffle lol! Lovely friendly people. We will be back….

Went here for a 1st birthday party in their outhouse, was a lovely building.

It has to be seen quite a giggle Drink is overpriced,and vodka was likely watered down even neat it had little to no taste At the end of the day we had a funny night and might go again

Had Canons 'special' Sunday carvery today, which included music from a great band. Truly excellent afternoon. Huge portions of three different meats, lots of vegetables and great array of hot and cold desserts. The duo played and sung popular songs to a very high standard. Would like to see then perform again and will definitely be back for more Sunday carveries. Well done to all at Canons Brook Golf Club, Harlow. Ps - it's open to all.

Great course. Played it a few years back and had a mare but still thoroughly enjoyed the course. Really good condition and challenging layout.

If you do not have a collar on your shirt then don't bother going. Two of my friends were refused entry for having no collar. It was 30 degrees and clothing was chosen due to weather but due to the narrow minded middle class arrogance that is flowing through this clubs culture we could not play a single hole. Easy to see how difficult it is for regular guys to be accepted at these places

Good condition course, however some bunkers desperately need more sand especially hole 10 it was like hitting off concrete.

As others have mentioned, the tables are set beautifully and make you feel as though you are at a hotel. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. The carvery is very tasty and of a high standard with generous amounts of meat. The staff were lovely and would like to give a special mention to the youngster who served us. We would definitely come again.

My partner and I visited here yesturday after reading the reviews and fancying a proper roast dinner. We were amazed at the whole experience. Friendly welcoming staff, no rushing us. Sat at a beautifully laid table fit for a wedding with beautiful white tablecloths, spotless glasses and cutlery. The food was incredible and absolutely perfectly cooked meats vegetables and condiments . We couldn’t fault it and only a pound more in costs than a Toby horrible mass made carvery . We will definitely be back and will tell our friends too! Thank you for a brilliant experience

Wow..what a gorgeous Sunday roast! Restaurant is beautifully laid out with plenty of room between tables and fresh clean white table cloths. The food tastes like a home cooked roast. Plenty of meat at the carvery and the vegetables are firm and freshly prepared. Make sure you leave room for dessert as the spotted dick and custard is delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the price is very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

We have been there twice and each time the service and food is first class. Staff are caring and always willing to help.

I used to be a member there 10 or so years ago. Course was in excellent condition even after 2 nights of heavy rain, so of course the bunkers wasn't at there best and not much run on the fairways. All staff and food was excellent

Course in good condition. Some challenging holes. Great deal on the day. Would certainly like to play it again.

Weather against us but course a pleasure to play will definitely come back. Staff 1st class (James) pity bar not open could have done with a warm drink!

Disappointing. Very muddy, bunkers were awful. Green staff getting in the way and not letting us play up. Slow play. Greens were patchy. Expensive to play at £35 on a Monday in October. Won't be visiting again.

My son had his wedding here, lovely grounds and wonderful outdoor wedding with seating. Reception in small hall. My only criticism would be that bar was not too well stocked (no Bailey's) and they didn't do tea or coffee even though we had been out in the cold for quite a while, and there were elderly people there, some of whom would have liked a hot drink. Other than that was a wonderful day and facilities were good, toilets nice and clean.

We just had our wedding in the barn, what a great venue, Peter and his team couldn't do enough for us, they are very professional and responded to everything we needed the food was great as was the bar service, I would say one of the best venues in the area to hold your wedding or party. Played this course a few days ago. The pro shop staff were great and very helpful and bar staff were so nice! The course was in great condition all round and our whole group were so complimentary. Great club and course!

Great for a society event, Course in great condition and true test with a WG 135 bench mark off the yellow tees, food excellent and COVID compliant.

It is a very good corse and the members make you welcome the corse I well marines and you are allwase welcome in the club house

Played on Thursday course was in great condition recommend to all local.golfers pleasure paying there will definitely go back soon.

Lovely course even tho it was quite muddy. The greens were very good. Very honest players, as I lost my range finder somewhere in the course and someone handed it in at three pro shop.

Lovely service from the staff and the chef. Food was tasty and hot. The food was served by the chef and the portions were generous it was regularly changed for freshly cooked food. Have nothing bad to say about this place was an absolute pleasure to eat at and we will definitely be going back!! Xx

Went there today with a friend for Sunday lunch. There was a choice of 5 starters and desserts. I had Stilton and Broccoli Soup with 2 warm rolls, was lovely. My friend had Brie with cranberry, she said it was lovely. The carvery was great, choice of 4 meats of some of each of the 3 joints. Lots of fresh vegetables with stuffing and Yorkshire Puddings, all help yourself. For dessert there was I think 5 choices with cream, ice cream or custard. We both wanted a lighter option as we was full, we chose raspberry and lemon bomb with fresh cream - delicious. The staff including the chef, Sarah, Peter and bar staff were very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Would really recommend this place and we will be back. We will also be back for another afternoon tea in the new year. Keep up the good work guys

We attended for my sister's wedding and truly had a brilliant day. The staff were really lovely and friendly, however left the bar unstaffed to go and chat in the corridor occasionally.

Nice friendly staff at a private function we attended. What let this place down is the shabby dark car park. Come on put up some lights so we feel safe to walk to our cars at night and for your staff too!
