Great staff, bland food. I ordered the festive burger and although it was packed and stacked with food, it was all very tasteless. Oddly only one strange of onion in the burger. My wife ordered the veggie burger, she said it was to moist and again completely tasteless. And again a single strand of onion! Is there an onion shortage that we didn’t know about? Overall nice location close to some nice walks, but we won’t be returning.

Always fab food !! Wonderful welcoming staff !! Manager fantastic and always takes time for a chat even when extremely busy!! Highly recommend !!!!

save your money,we saw 3 course meal for £30 on offer on Facebook and booked for boxing day night,a handful of people were in the there,we both or ordered prawn cocktails,which we ate because we were hungry,absolutely tasteless out of a frozen packet jobbies. for the main course we chose steak, hubby went for an upgrade and I chose sirloin.again tasteless save for the black smoke powder they put on.hubbies came up in two hideous lumps, mine looked ok, but we couldn't eat it.no tomatoes that come as standard,and my meal was upgraded which i didn't have but had paid for. we did complain to an embarrassed waitress, who gave us two free drinks. you got to do better beefeater.

Tracy the manager is amazing, she is warm, friendly & helpful even remembering us from a previous visit. We had dinner which was great and then came back the following morning for breakfast, Tracy was there to greet us again and made the whole experience so memorable. People like Tracy are very rare so if any of her bosses read this - please give her a well deserved pay rise and whatever you do, don’t let her go!! In fact most of the staff are wonderful here, they bring me back more than the food (which is actually good & great value) Thank you 🤩

The service was excellent; however, the food was far below average. The ribeye steak was overcooked, and both the chicken breast and chicken wings were inedible. The onion rings were crispy but overly oily and also inedible. I appreciate the waitress who offered to have the chef prepare another meal. However, I declined, as I observed the "chef" reheating food and plating it. I knew that whatever they reheated would likely not be any better.

I came in with my family and was greeted by the manager trev who was really nice, we had to wait for our table to be ready but, we wasn't waiting long at all. We were served by Arlena who was really friendly and made sure we were looked after for the whole duration of our visit. See you in the new year!

Waiting 15 minutes to even be seen by a member of the team. Ordered our food, and when it showed up, it was bland and flavourless. The ribs had no meat on it, and the chicken had freezer burns, chips where cold. The Sunday roast looked like a microwave meal. Deserts where the only good thing Beer was flat and coke tasted like soda water Overall a horrible experience

Had a hair in my starts the steak was over cooked and onion rings were floating in oil.

Normally really like coming here for breakfast but dont think were be back again.sausages are cheap and mushy.bacon just tastes like cooking oil and the croissants were very dry.for the price id expect alot better but seems to be going down hill with the quality of food....

Took a friend for breakfast. Greeted with a terse “Name?” Rather than a “good morning” or “hello” No white bread for toast and no cups available at self service drink area - milk also had to be replenished in the coffee machine - wouldn’t have been an issue without the huffing and puffing that accompanied the action. Restaurant felt cold despite portable heaters everywhere and while food was average, both orders were incorrect - by then we couldn’t face asking the surly staff to correct the orders. All the self service areas were low on supplies although we arrived half a hour before the end of service. Been here many times and had great food and friendly service but after today, I don’t think I’ll return.

Came here for my brother's 50th birthday. It was lovely. The food was fantastic! Service was excellent! The atmosphere was great! The issue I had was as a disabled person I needed the disabled toilet, but you had to walk through the restaurant, all the way through the bar to get to it! I can't walk far and it hurt me a lot. I couldn't even find it when I got down there so used the ladies because I just needed to sit. They weren't very nice and I struggled. Next time I will just go to the ladies at the top, in the restaurant. Other than that it was a great experience!

Took the family for breakfast after staying in the Premier Inn. Looked like they were short staffed, as it took 15 minutes to take our order, a further 45 for it to arrive and 20 minutes to get the bill... The sausages were beyond cheap and the eggs were somehow overcooked AND snotty?! We stay at a lot of Premier Inns as a family and this has to be the worst breakfast of any of them.

1st time visiting, had a excellent meal, first ever restaurant to ask if any of us had any allergies (very professional & caring) service was amazing food was served hot, amazing friendly polite staff, great chef

Food good but you have to pay extra for chips with your steak

Took our family there for lunch.Food very poor. Mine was cold! Asparagus must have been frozen and stuck in the microwave. You couldn’t cut it. Had a soup starter served in a small bowl that was just a quarter full and no bread. Husband had pate with two fingers of bread , not even half a slice. We were also very cold. Been before and it’s been ok but definitely wouldn’t go again. Very disappointing…

We go here once or twice a week - Beefeater food is freshly cooked and very well oriced

Oh my beware! Was so looking forward to my first festive menu. Please how very disappointing this is, Firstly turkey was like a bought in supermarket packet ,then heated which made is rubbery. Sprouts hard , oh and they give no stuffing. Over years beefeater festive menu is normally fairly good. Please think carefully about booking for great meal. Beefeater what has happened to your festive spirit! Has Christmas scrooge arrived early!!! Humbug!!!

Tracie and her staff once again gave us a welcoming and enjoyable evening......Occasionally it would be better as a review to pinpoint any faults in the food quality or service, just not possible 10/10.

A family lunch turned into an embarrassing experience. Freezing restaurant with warm air blower’s randomly placed on the floor around the tables, starters was OK, BUT it all went down hill from there. Mix grill, sausage half burnt half raw, steak completely inedible as tough as old boots, one solid fry egg one half cooked. Fish & chips, fish batter was still very wet on the underside and the fish was completely tasteless. Veg lasagna had no taste at all, very odd. While waiting for mains to arrive we observed the chef scratching his ear with no gloves on then handling food… After a very disappointed meal we waited what seemed an age just to pay the bill.. This restaurant has not changed since our last visit a few years ago, it’s terrible..

Confusing computerised gibberish! I booked a table about a week in advance, then got a call 2 days before the booking saying the restaurant was closed due to "mumble mumble", so booked a table elsewhere at the last minute. Then the day afterwards got a message saying "your booking is confirmed, see you tomorrow". So I called the Beefeater up to find out what the heck was going on and rather than speaking to a real person ended up speaking to a chatbot which fed me a word salad and then cheerily sent me on my way! I'm really, really confused now and I've got no way of checking what the heck's going on without speaking to an insane AI... Forget the big, evil robots from Terminator, the machines are going to wipe us out by talking rubbish at us until we starve to death trying to work out what's going on!

Had a lovely time! Food was amazing and service from Lu was brilliant, she really helped us out and made us feel comfortable, it was a pleasure to have her during our dining time

Sadly we waited a long time for the bill to arrive. It wasn't until my twin sister went outside and I had to go to the bathroom that they started to panic thinking that we had done a runner, that they brought over the bill.

Dance team took advantage of 40% voucher offer to have a pre dance feast, Seated & served in a reasonable time . Various food dishes served piping hot & tucked into a delicious chicken & ribs favourite all served by a bubbly effecient waitress Sue. Drinks mixed exactly how we like them in a warm & spacious atmosphere. Would advise to book as this is a popular establishment especially coming up to Xmas. Off to Wormley dance club to work off all that tasty food.

Mix mini steak meal definitely a worth ago

We had a family meal for 10 people which obviously takes time to seat everyone especially those in wheelchairs and obviously takes a little longer to organise your starters main and dessert. Afterwards we retired to the bar and had several drinks which took our overall bill to over £400! Then about 10 days later I received a parking fine for £91 for being in their car park for more than 3 hours!! I even lost my appeal as the signs state maximum of 3 hours! Surely for customers of that quantity and with two wheelchairs and spending a lot of money there should be some leeway? SO BEWARE ALL CUSTOMERS DO NOT STAY LONGER THAN 3 HOURS.

Tonight my partner and I visited beefeater, Harlow mill, for the first time. Even though the staff were very polite and professional, it didn’t do much for the standard of the steaks we ordered. We both ordered ribeye, medium rare. Mine was more on the rare side than medium rare which I didn’t mind too much. However my partners was overcooked and dry. The waitress was very apologetic and understanding, however when the 2nd attempt came back it was cooked blue. By this time my partner could t stomach anything else. The chef needs to learn how to cook steak, as this is a very important dish on any menu. The staff were very friendly and understanding and took the price of my partners steak off of our bill. Unfortunately I will say that we won’t be returning

Meal was great until the bill came, had 25% meerkat meals deal off total bill with no restrictions listed on the app, however when questioned the manager seemed to disregard this, said it doesn't come off any kids products or their own multi purchase deals, and when pressed she said she puts the code in and it does what it does. Just be wary if going there with kids expecting to use the discount. Otherwise our server was lovely

I can see chef is eating food wise plating your dish. Dont touch the table, or esle your will stick to it. Overall, not a very clean place, where you would want to dine in. Slow service, but is clearly due to poor serivcies from the kichen. Which pull the server down.

Went here on Sunday 1 9 24 was looking forward to a roast dinner sat down at our table and asked waitress for a roast dinner menu was told they had sold out of all roast dinners this was at 3.30 pm potion control at its best wont be going again

I visited Beefeater at Harlow Mill after a meeting with a client. The staff at Beefeater were amazing. I was served by Katie, who kindly took my order and provided excellent customer service. This truly made my day, especially as it was extremely hot, and my visit to Beefeater helped me to relax. A big thank you to Katie and the Beefeater team for making my afternoon. Highly recommended to all to visit!

The food was good and the service excellent. However, the trip was overshadowed by a visit to the men’s toilet. Disgusting does not do it justice. I guarantee if you went in there before eating you would walk away and never return. The manager should hold his/her head in shame.

Came here with friends. We were served in minutes by lovely Lu. Lu was very attentive and recommended food for my daughter. She was patient as there were 3 children under 7!! Only problem was steaks were over cooked.

Had a table booked for a family event (grandmother's 80th birthday). Staff were super friendly and on the ball, food and drink waiting times were short, fantastic service.

Beware of parking. It does display big 3hours free for costumers but text you have to register with them. After a night with family (3cars) we were charged. When calling them to explain what happened they say it's nothing they can do. However I have the evidence (the bill and bank statement) where I can prove that yes, I have been a costumer.

On with the positives, the location is nice. Terrace by the river with lots of vegetation around. So relaxing. We had a meal outside, and there were many people smoking. I wasn't a fan of the smoke, especially being there with the kids. Staff careless, not particularly friendly. Slow service and incomplete order, the starter being brought to us close to the end of the meal. Poor food, underseasoned and on the cold side and just not tasty ( chicken goujons, fish and chips).

Food was average. I guess they haven't heard of food presentation, a bit of garnish would have been nice, but no, about 8 pieces of chopped beige calamari the size of a 10p on a blank plate, mostly batter, watery & not hot at all, with a spicy sauce on the side. Fish & chips was nice though. Wasn't impressed by one chef scratching his head, then touching his beard twice whilst cooking, the other eating whilst plating up. Hygiene please! Pricing is weird on the 2 courses for £18.99, it includes a drink from a limited list which is fair enough, but most dishes had an extra cost, so hubby picked the combo & it's an extra £5, mine was an extra 50p. If it's 2 dishes for 1 price it should be THAT PRICE, Hubby's meal was £23.99, mine was £19.49. I understand that extra sides would incur an additional cost, but a set price meal should be the one price. Wasn't an unpleasant evening, but I won't be rushing back there. The prices on the standard menu are a rip off for the quantity & quality. I didn't make a fuss whilst there as it was our anniversary. Waitresses were hard working & friendly.

Won’t be going again 3 kids nachos with salsa & sour. Salsa was a chopped tomato and the sour cream was mint yogurt. Had a free bottle of wine voucher that then then told us was only for £11 Don’t even get me started on the mains. Kids desserts states pancakes which was In fact a shop brought pancake cut in small quarters Bill should have been £65 we was charged £85 There was also a hoover sat right next to our table

Kids nachos served with salsa and sour cream but no we got 1 tomatoe an mint yogurt My main the rice was clearly microwave bag as could not separate Pancakes for desert u think u would get more then 1 as says PANKCAKES but no it was 1 cut 4 ways Voucher for free bottle of vine but no charged us for wine, free wine with main meal but no charged us for wine with meal. All in all was suppose to cone to 64 quid but got charged 85 NEVER EVER GOING AGAIN

Lovely butternut spinach lasagne. Very HOT especially the dish. Good service.

Food and choice ok considering its price overall. However it is obvious from taste and appearance of ingredients and constituents of each dish, that everything is at the lower end of the quality experience - an example would be the prawn cocktail - prawns and pink sauce could be from a supermarket bag/bottle, and green salad was just cheap lettuce and cucumber. And dessert ice-cream was the cheapest type. Ok for coeliacs to dine in though, except for dessert course.

Sorry but we had a terrible breakfast with slow service due to lack of staff. The bacon was like rubber, eggs broken & black pudding soaked in oil! The pre continental was sparse & understocked! Sorry wouldn't recommend or be returning ☹️👎

Had a cheeky lunch, steak egg and chips with apple pie and ice cream for afters X very reasonable, lovely food and staff were very attentive without being in your face.

No filter Coffee just cheap sachets as machine broken. Was not told so paid £10.99 for breakfast and then went to get filtered Coffee but sign saying out of Order. Think I should of been told before I paid that amount for breakfast

The staff were very friendly and helpful, food was hot and very tasty. The only downfall was the terrible smell of damp and sewers at certain tables near the entrance of the restaurant. Once you moved in side the restaurant, it was fine, but the smell made us gag in the first seats we sat in.

Usual Beefeater, great food at the right price, helpful front of house lady and our waitress was fantastic, I didn't get her name but she had four children (that should narrow it down) she really went above and beyond.

My wife and I had very enjoyable meals. Waitress Vicky was excellent and so helpful. It makes all the difference to your experience. And it was made even better as we had a voucher.

Laura always provides exceptional service, taking extra time to entertain my 4 year old when we dine in the restaurant. Great food and even better service.

Steak was burnt, chips were microwaved and the atmosphere was dreary.

Minimal menu but the food was lovely. The big issue was the service and the place was dirty, the blinds have never been cleaned and had thick dust on them.

Quick stop on our way down south. We have been here and stayed at the Premier Inn before and we enjoyed our meals on the Beefeater then. Would recommend, the staff are lovely and attentive. Food was cooked as requested with all requests catered for.
