The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

We had 2 americano cofees with warm milk that were superb. We were waiting for the bus and it stops right out front. The staff were very kind to us and we could see that they offered an assortment of foods for breakfast and lunch. Also ice cream.

Went in a couple of nights over the weekend, food was nice but had a bit of a wait. The so called manager, what an idiot, i have never seen anyone so rude and arrogant working in the hospitalty industry. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing, if you try to talk to him to explain something is missing from your food he says "its not my problem". We asked if the table was still reserved and were told "you've got eyes the dame as me, look dor yourselves". He has no manners at all, he spoke to some of the staff like they were trash and all he kept saying was "i'm Luke, i'm the manager", and that was pretty much his attitude. On the other hand there was a lovely lady calked Tilly who couldnt do enough for you. Made sure you had everything you needed, dealt with a lady with allergies impeccably making sure they could cater for her. I watched her go around the whole room chatting to people and making sure they were ok and made them feel welcome. This is how hospitality works, unlike "Luke the manager". The other members of staff that caught my attention was Zoe and Georgina, they are both lovely and if it wasnt for Tilly, Zoe and Georgina i would definately have left a bad review. If the owners have any idea what they are doing they would surely get rid of the alleged manager Luke and keep the other 3 staff as they would attract custom and not lose them as Luke will surely do that. I will go back again once back this way and hopefully it will have improved.

Beautiful cafe with delicious coffee! I've never seen pistachio latte before and it was so tasty! Lovely atmosphere and generous seating inside and out. I'll definitely be back for lunch one day 😊

I have to admit that we are coffee snobs. The great thing about Coast Coffee is that they make coffee the way you ask for it. They also use good quality Illy coffee beans. Very personable staff, too. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to Healds Hall many times over the years for weddings which have always been fantastic, absolutely beautiful location (great for photos) Today I went with family to Afternoon tea with Frank Sinatra, which was amazing, lovely food, great attentive staff (especially Matthew) and the singer was absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend this place to everyone

Just back from Dinner. Fish in bread crumbs for me. My husband had steak. They now do an 8oz steak for smaller eaters. Still on a sizzling platter with fried onions and trimmings. Excellent . Nice staff as well.

Unbelievable experience as the awards would suggest. Mid thirties courses (lost count). Some of the best ingredients you can get cooked with precision. This was just delicious! Be sure to pace yourself if drinking alcohol it’s a long one. The room we had on site was also fantastic. Would highly recommend as a one off experience.

We had a sandwich each. Very nice, lots of killing, salad, and crisps. Good value. The tea was good as well. Dog friendly.

Family run restaurant reopened under BSK and open Wednesday - Saturday with Brunch from 9.00 - 14.00 and Street Food from 16.00 - 21.00. Located in the centre of Bude on two levels, ground floor “ bench seating” and first floor comfortable table and quality seating. Has excellent free broadband. Food is excellent and is fully licensed and the owners provide a warm welcome to everyone. We have eaten twice since they opened this week, each time in the morning, and the quality, at a reasonable price, has made this a must eat location going forward. Highly recommended and a great addition to Bude’s high reputation for food. Looking forward to attending the Street Food soon.

Called for lunch and had the most delicious food. Extremely friendly, welcoming staff. Beautifully presented hotel.

Batter on the fish uncooked and soggy Not sure what kind of fish we were given but it certainly wasn’t cod Very Disappointing
