Sea Breeze in Gwynedd

Staff were so kind and arranged a table for us and our little pup outside. So kind and thoughtful; food was instant and amazing. 10/10 thank you!

What a treat!!! Friday night dinner at Seabreeze. Lovely warm welcome in an intimate setting. Food and service was faultless. You HAVE to try the scallops!!!!! Really good value for money and a great start to our weekend away.

Someone posted a review , but it was not me which is a bit naughty. Food was excellent, however the tv in our room was not working, and someone tried to rectify the tv but to avail and the problem with the tv is not only with our room but with others and will be rectified in the morning, despite reporting the problem, and promised that the problem with the tv be sorted, it still is not working. Hopefully a refund of some sort will be made. We booked our table for this evening, but it was double booked.

Sat in the window with a beautiful view. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious especially the scallops, sea bass and pork belly. Need to book a table as it’s a popular restaurant in Aberdovey.

Ate here last night as we are staying in Aberdovey for a couple of nights. The food is excellent, good portion sizes with lovely presentation. Service was also excellent lovely and friendly. Had a couple of glasses of wine which was also enjoyable and reasonably priced. Can highly recommend.

It's been two years since we were last in Aberdyfi but fortunately Seabreeze is just as good as ever. By far the best restaurant in the area it continues to excel. Straightforward menu with excellent food, well presented with great local produce. Nice atmosphere with good staff gives you an excellent dining experience. Need to book but well worth the trouble not cheap but good value for money.

What a great little restaurant this is. 2nd visit this year, very slick indeed. Service is perfect, food is of excellent quality and atmosphere is just right, allowing diners to enjoy their meals. No doubt at all that we'll be back again very soon.

I stayed for 2 night last week and everything was perfect. Car park just over the road. Room was spotless and had an amazing view. The staff were ever so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and a good selection. The Welsh breakfast was amazing. I also ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was fantastic. Will be returning.

We stayed for the weekend. The hotel is decorated well and the rooms very comfortable. Thr service is great. The food is exceptional. Beautiful fresh seafood and a variety of dishes. Breakfast was also fantastic.

Stunning food as ever, ate there two nights in a row! Staff were amazing, they rang to inform me I could dine earlier if I wanted and they reserved the window seat for me as it was my birthday. The ONLY place to eat when in Aberdovey; all the food was amazing but the halibut was to die for!

My wife and I had dinner here and we both chose the sea bass risotto, which was wonderful. This was a great place to eat, and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Absolutely stunned at the quality of takeout food. We had the Lamb Burger (local butchers) plus kids sausage (high quality) and chips and chicken and chips. Food was unbelievably delicious for a takeaway, generous portion sizes, piping hot and came with sauces, cutlery and napkins. Cannot wait to eat in the restaurant next visit.

We can never fault Seabreeze! We have had wonderful breakfasts and dinners here countless times over the years, and it never fails to disappoint. If you're visiting Aberdyfi - get booked in!

Whilst the food was fine dining at its best the portions were exceptionally generous I had the slow cooked Confit Belly Pork cooked to perfection with very tasty crispy crackling and served with Carrot Purée, fondant potato, garlic kale ,apple cider jus ,caramelised apple and an amazing pork and black pudding croquet This was followed by a sweet of Eton Mess served in a large glass bowl and was the epitome of what an Eton Mess should look like and taste like. My wife had the Pan Fried local Sea Bass which came with Marinated Prawns and as my wife has an allergy to shellfish they removed these from the order without hesitation and assured her that there would be no contact whatsoever with any shellfish. She described the meal as exceptionally good and cooked to perfection She followed this with Ice cream based mango and passion fruit cheesecake and never having experienced this type of cheesecake before was pleasantly surprised and described it as delicious. The staff were all extremely polite pleasant and helpful throughout the meal and we have no hesitation in visiting again Thank you for a very pleasant and enjoyable evening all at the Seabreeze

Having spent the weekend enjoying great service and food at Nefyn and Caernarfon, we decided to stop on our way South to have a drink to break up the journey, and to see what the hype was about Aberdyfi. The choice was not great on a Sunday afternoon. We found that dogs were more welcome than humans in this little seaside town, with one small shop dedicated wholly to dogs and doggy ice cream. Anyway, having walked one way along the front and finding nothing that invited us in, we walked back towards the car park and saw that there were people sitting outside Sea Breeze having drinks. The outside seating area was full, so we entered into the indoor seating area where whom we presumed to be the owner/manager was busy on the phone. Another lady was seated at a table beyond the bar/reception area reading a paper. With two of our group of four having taken seats at the window to enjoy the view, the lady who had been seated reading the paper approached and we asked about drinks. She rather smugly informed us that they were only serving drinks for people in the outside seating area. One of our party explained that the outside seating area was full, the lady/female then sarcastically shrugged her shoulders, raised her arms and smirked. This is not a welcoming establishment, the lady who dealt with us needs to have lessons on how to deal with customers in the hospitality sector, poor show. You have ensured that a group of four people will never enter the seaside town, or spend money at Aberdyfi ever again. I would advise this lady to take a trip up to the Lleyn Peninsula or Caernarfon in order to take lessons in how you should deal with customers. Remember, every person who has a negative experience on average tells 7 people. When you treat people with contempt word will get around.

We have stayed here many times. The food is superb in the restaurant. I had the best lobster I’ve ever had. The rooms are great especially with a sea view. All the staff are friendly and helpful and do a great job looking after their customers. Thanks guys and see you again soon.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Great value and portion sizes. We had the mussels, which came in a delicious sauce, with ample chips and bread. We ordered onion rings and a side salad too, but when our mains came, they had forgotten about all of the sides. The staff acted quickly to rectify the situation, giving them free of charge. They were worth the wait- so delicious, and the onion rings were indeed enormous! A great choice of drinks too. Overall, the best meal we had in our week's stay in aberdovey.

What a great place to stay . Staff were polite, helpful and made us feel welcome . Excellent bar where we were able to take our drinks outside and sit and watch the world go by .
