I've never been in before. But mum said she had been in before and it was nice. When we went in there was no other customers. It was 2pm and we fancied a snack. I got a plain scone, but I had to get 2 as they were miniture, 2 of them would of made a normal sized scone. My eyes widened when my mum went to get the second and the girl said ÂŁ3. Mum got a German biscuit since her raspberry and white chocolate scone was small. She said it was ok. We noticed that the sandwiches in the cooler were actually starting to curl. There was no toilets and had to use the public toilets next door to the cafe. So 3 mini scones, a German biscuit and 2 teas ÂŁ17. I'll definitely not be going back here in a hurry.

The jumbo fries, certainly one of the best Irish breakfasts we have eaten. Tasty and extremely filling, we didn't feel hungry until the evening. The establishment opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, there was a queue of regulars waiting for the opening. The service was very fast and the staff very pleasant, this address is a gem that I warmly recommend for a good Irish breakfast. 👌🏻

Having looked at opening times on Google it clearly states Saturday open 12 00 pm Having wanted to try the grapes for some time as it was a nice day decided to walk appropriately 3 miles to said drinking establishment, having set of at midday got there around 1 pm well establishment it is but far from drinking was bolted up tighter than fort knox if I was a bunny I would not have been very happy so had to do the 3 miles back seems a poor way to run a business if you can not be bothered to open

We ate at The Castle Inn with my daughter who is coeliac. We always check in advance that places understand that cross contamination is the danger - cooking in a kitchen where there has been gluten on a surface or in a shared container. For coeliacs for example, you cannot cook chips in fat that has had any glutened batter in it. You have to have fresh fat in a cleaned fryer. We have discovered that many high end restaurants like The Ivy don't manage to offer this so it was so heartening that The Castle was meticulous about her needs. When the menu didn't offer an option she could pick, they found something different, making her cheesy mashed potato from scratch. It was delicious and we are so grateful for their kindness. We shall definitely eat here again when we're in the area.

This is a lovely restaurant for high quality dining. The menu is short but everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The restaurant manager was the most attentive waiter ever! Our napkins were refolded and our glasses were refilled. Our group were all delighted with our dinners and had a wonderful evening.

Great little bar, staff are all nice talkative friendly folks, and some great beers on tap. There's a couple guitars on the wall for anyone who can play to entertain others, though could do with a restring.

Enjoyed a lovely tasty lunch at this friendly little cafe. Food - I had the Lentil soup with a cheese scone - was delicious. Service was spot on. The two gentleman serving were welcoming, friendly and genuine. I loved that they paid special attention to their regular customers referring to them by name and being attentive. An absolute gem of a place. Well done to all who work there.
