Peppers is one of our favorite restaurants for several reasons. The food is superb and the service is terrific. Mykala is my favorite waitress. She is high energy and has a wonderful personality. I always leave with a smile on my face after spending time at one of her tables. The restaurant attracts wide array of clients and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Try Peppers for a top notch dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our meal here - the food was truly excellent! It was a quieter night with no live music when we went but I can imagine the atmosphere would have been amazing on one of their live music evenings! We started with sourdough bread, balsamic dip and olives and they were all really tasty. The bread tasted really, really fresh. For mains we had chicken saffron and beef baked in a yoghurt, ginger and pepper sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious - the meat was so tender and the sauces were packed full of flavor. The highlight however was the desserts - chocolate fondant torte and a raspberry and hazelnut meringue gateaux. The combination of fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream alongside the hazelnut meringue was such a great way to finish off the meal...I think I'd walk back to Pembrokeshire for another bite!!! The staff were friendly and efficient and made the final night of our Welsh holiday a really lovely one! We'd definitely be back for more if we were in the area again.

There is no doubt that the kitchen staff can cook, we were pleased with the cuisine. However, service could be friendlier and faster...we waited more than an hour between starter and main course, which is not acceptable, especially as there was no explanation for the delay or apology. We didn't see the waiter who was concentrating on the main dining area...it was like we had been forgotten. Limited opening times, but potentially a great restaurant if waiting staff could show a bit more enthusiasm and attention.

Lovely meal , short menu but for us that implies everything is homemade as stated. Bread , olives and balsamic dressing and King Prawns to start - both excellent. Polish Meatballs & Parmigiana special for mains - we tried both the garlic & cream potatoes and Chips - the chips were double fried and cooked to perfection. The special dessert of hazelnut & raspberry meringue was pretty spectacular. Art on the walls , Jazz playing in the background , lovely food - perfect evening

Absolutely fabulous evening with culinary extravagance. We visited Peppers with family and friends to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The olives with balsamic dip were excellent starters, the fish was superb, ratatouille was excellent and the lentil loaf with balsamic red wine sauce sealed the deal. Our refreshing Kumeu chardonnay experience was decorated by the owners Myles and David who shared exciting stories of life and music over a glass of red from backpacking to Buckingham Palace. All of this with the finest of jazz in the background. What an absolute treat! Thank you.

The owner very kindly found us a table at the last minute and we are so glad that he did. We are real foodies and this art gallery and restaurant was a real find. The food was beautifully cooked and by far the best we’ve had for a while. It is a family business and both Father and son were interesting and charming. It’s such a joy to find excellent cooking rather than pretentious second rate food. Thank you

Thankyou so much for a wonderful Saturday lunch - Chicken Saffron with Dauphonise Garlic Potatoes accompanied by a glass of delicious white wine. Highly Recommended. This is top quality food, cooked beautifully and it was quite honestly better than our engagement meal at the Ivy. The chef is obviously talented. We also ordered not-on-the-menu food for our toddlers and it was the most successful meal we’ve had with them. The wine list is extensive. Service is prompt and courteous. I’ve eaten in here and it’s always been really good, but that wasn’t possible this time because of the Covid restrictions. Fortunately they are doing takeaways which are really good. Great veggie options, the lentil loaf was so tasty that I had it twice, creamy potatoes and really great chips. The carnivores were happy too! All ready for me to collect at the requested time, nicely packed and good value too. If you can’t get to dine in here then this is the next best thing.

Having read reviews we made a reservation for an evening meal and really liked the ambience of the restaurant which is in an art gallery type setting. Tables were well set out and staff were friendly efficient and COVID secure. The menu is small with 2 or 3 options per course, but each done very well. We had the beef bourginon and nut roast for mains, both of us had the garlic potatoes to accompany, it was very tasty. For dessert we shared the special, sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and it was gorgeous. Also at £60 including drinks for 2 it was very reasonably priced, would definitely return.

We enjoyed dinner here, the place having been recommended by a relative. A nice family run restaurant (Myles in the kitchen, with son David front of house) with a smallish, but interesting, menu (we liked the beef braised in Guinness and port, and the deserts were good) and an excellent wine selection. Thursday 22 August 19, my husband and I drove to Fishguard, where we parked our car in the car park and strolled into the old town to go to ‘Peppers Restaurant’. Peppers are situated in a lovely art and craft gallery, which showcases the work of local artists. It is very quirky with lovely old furniture and tables and chairs. The atmosphere is very welcoming. My husband and I were booked for dinner at 7.00pm.We were served to a wonderful meal here. My husband and I were seated and we perused the small but interesting menu and we ordered our food. Our food when it arrived was well presented and piping hot. My husband for his starter had squid in a chilli sauce, which he said was quite spicy. I had the prawns in Pernod with tomatoes and olives for my starter which were delicious and just the right size to get the palate started. My husband for his main course had the chicken saffron with yoghurt and served with green beans, sugar snap peas and garlic potatoes, which he said was delicious. For my main course I had the aubergine cheesecake served with green beans, sugar snap peas and creamed garlic potatoes, which were delicious. We washed all this lovely food down with a nice chilled bottle of rose wine.We both had desserts, my husband and I both had the raspberry and hazelnut meringue gateau, which was really scrumptious, and it was the perfect finish to our lovely meal. Afterwards, my husband had a double espresso and I had a cappuccino. This rounded off a perfect meal in a very lovely restaurant. Peppers is well worth putting on your list if you are visiting the area.

The gin and juniper Gravlax was perfection- the crab and tarragon tart was superb and the courgette and feta fritters with lime were masterclass! As the crab tart was so very good I chose to have it as my main course (my wife had enjoyed most of the crab starter!). She chose buttered prawns with olives, garlic and Pernod and loved it. My chicken saffron was fine but my wife's crab, lemon, chilli and pasley on a pasta bed was very disappointing. It was actually a huge plate of pasta with a tiny scattering of crab crumbs. Am I being cynical if I note that the pasta is cheap, so it was plentiful, while they'd skimped on the (expensive) crab which added very little to the taste? I must say that the waiter showed himself to be very sensible when it came to our paying the bill when we pointed this out and took something off but it wasn't his fault; when the recipe was first tested, there should have been self-criticism in the kitchen to avoid the embarrassment. Also, it was disappointing, once we'd had asparagus soup as the starter (and it was good), to find that asparagus made up half the vegetables with both our meals. It seemed that the finance seemed to win out over cullinary. Finally, I first sat at one side of the table - wanting to gaze lovingly into my wife's eyes - only to find the chair very uncomfortable; when I mentioned it to the waiter it was clear that he (and I guess the management) were well aware of the problem Take those chairs out and burn them!

The surroundings, being situated in an art gallery, made the evening interesting. The music was nice but there was not much atmosphere as only two other couples dining. Host was a bit too laid back and could have been more welcoming. Food was tasty but more like home cooking, so it felt expensive for what it was.

We loved our evening here. You are surrounded by art, lovely music and the food was tasty, delicate and totally enjoyable. I had a cheese soufle starter that was so light and flavoursome, followed by confit of duck, cooked perfectly. David the chef and David his son were welcoming, interesting and interested, a pleasure to have met them both. Plus David junior does a mean coffee to finish a delightful experience

Had booked to stay in Fishguard without giving much thought to where we would eat. This was recommended by our hotel owner so we thought we would give it a try. We weren't expecting much. But the food was just fantastic - have the saffron chicken, you won't be disappointed. Very reasonable prices too.The restaurant also housed a charming art gallery, with a variety of beautiful ceramics and paintings from very talented local artists (plus a few pieces of very unimpressive and over-priced modern art). Would definitely visit again.

First visit to Peppers, but it won't be the last. First impressions through the side entrance - a very attractive little bistro tacked onto the back of an impressive gallery featuring significant local artists such as David Tress. Not a jazz evening when I dropped in, so I'd better come back when they are playing. I liked the new pan-Asian menu, and tried the lemongrass and noodle soup followed by Pad Thai King Prawns, which were well presented and delicious. There's a nice little bar serving local artisan beers. The whole show is family run and very enterprising, with a busy artistic festive season coming up.

Set in an Art gallery its a lovely place to spend an evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and would suit most occasions. Our food was excellent with a good, interesting menu. Not too extensive, showing that the meals weren't all preprepared.

Stopped off here when visiting Fishguard and Cardigan with our dog Rosie. We looked up a few places to stop off, but the food in the pubs seemed a bit heavy and boring. We walked past this place, and stopped off to look at the artwork (it is part of Fishguard Arts Centre) and checked out the simple but varied menu. We went into the garden to begin with, had a coffee and then went in. The dog was welcomed inside and out. We just had another coffee & ciabatta, both vegetarian. 1 med veg, feta and pine nuts, the other mozzarella and tomato. The bread was delicious, the fillings were nice and the bill was very reasonable.

Just popped in after lovely coastal walk on a cold day. Lovely in here - warm cosy and great bowl of homemade lentil soup with brown bread. Will definitely make it a permanent lunchtime stop.

When asked, the young waiter described the cuisine as French. I would add, some middle eastern spices too. Nice cured meats/salmon & lovely fresh greens. Few tables. Lovely art gallery surroundings. Quiet non-bothersome wait staff. The tiny wine list would have been fine with a few modest but better selections.

Whilst on holiday in Fishguard my wife and I were planning to go out for dinner that night and were casually looking around the area for somewhere to eat. We were walking past Peppers when the menus caught my eye. We enquired about table availability and were told although they were fully booked in the restaurant they could accommodate us in an adjoining room. This proved to be admirable as I had a ribeye steak and my wife ordered the most delicious saffron chicken. Had we been staying longer in Fishguard we would certainly have visited them again.

What an amazing cafe! We came to Angle yesterday and were met with a warm welcome. We had a cracking sausage and bacon sandwich and the best cheesecake I have EVER had. Super speedy service. I don't usually leave reviews but this is well deserved of my time. Good work guys. See you soon x
