My friends and I visited for the first time yesterday. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff especially Louise. We had a well cooked meal at a very reasonable price. We ate in the bar which had a lovely atmosphere.We will definitely be returning.

Revisited this great pub last week for lunch with my sister. I had fish and chips and she had lamb hot pot. She eats like a fussy bird and does not eat potatoes but at lunch she ate and enjoyed every morsel. A pint of Butty Bach for me and a fruit juice for her finished the meal. The Colliers Arms gives arguably the best comfort food in the West Midlands and Hayley and her team always offer a friendly and professional welcome and service.

Visited the Colliers arms with friends and family for lunch. It was my daughters 9th birthday. We arrived to find a table decorated with balloons 🎈 We had a delicious homemade lunch and puddings for the girls. Excellent value for money. A cake was bought out for us and a happy birthday song played. Made my daughter feel very special. Fantastic service, thank you Hayley and team xx 👍

Just brought the dish back. Anyhoo my brother who lives down south and me from up north meet here at least twice a yr to swap mam. Then she tootles off to Weymouth for her hols. Love the pub. Good food at a reasonable price and home made puddings. Very friendly staff. Thanks for making us so welcome and see you in two weeks. Guess what it’s only 1.6 miles off junction 10 on the M6. Have a break.

Visited the Collier Arms for lunch this week as the kitchen is only open for lunch during weekdays. Place was exactly as before and had a very fine comfort food lunch of roast beef with veg and Yorkshire pudding. Super and the only fault was the cauliflower being too soft. Came with a pint of Proper Job. Excellent value for money and quite filling meal. The only fly in the ointment is the price of the beer but this seems to be happening with almost all pubs nationwide and whereas the pre-covid target price was £3 it now seems £4+ per pint.

A favourite village pub of mine that I went to last week to check if the food (weekdays only) is as good as it was a few months ago.Due to Covid19 the pub had about 12 people on a Friday lunchtime which is low compared to previous. I had a pint of Golden Glow and a hearty roast pork with all the trimmings lunch for just over £8 and excellent quality and value.Service was very efficient and friendly as it always is here. Unfortunately they will have to close down later this week for a month but I will be back.

Had a quick beer in there with my wife on the wine, lovely little local pub with nice people inside, we were greeted with a "Hi mate" as we walked in by a guy at the bar and felt at home straight away. Loved it.

Went here for the first time, took mum as it was her birthday. I found the food to be excellent and staff friendly. The place is a lot smaller than I thought, so can can get busy. It's worth a visit, I will return

My daughter was travelling from Durham to Berkshire and suggested we meet near Cannock near the M6 for lunch to help break the journey. I used Trip Advisor to find somewhere and found The Colliers Arms with great reviews for cheap eats.The reviews were absolutely right - we had a friendly welcome - and enjoyed a very tast lunch. I had Beef Madras with rice and chips - my wife had Chicken Tikka Masala whilst my duaghter enjoyed mor traditional english fare. The menu is quite extensive and offers all the usual - including baked potatoes if you just want a snack.We had a dog with us and so went to the beer garden where the staff thoughtfully provided a fresh bowl of water without being asked.Extremely good value - very friendly and helpful staff - I was very pleasantly surprised and if in the area again will certainly return !

2 courses and 2 drinks under £15 value can't be beaten.chips still the best in south staffordshire.good homely cooked food top class.great service from staff.give it a visit you will not be disappointed

Went to the Colliers Arms some weeks ago at lunch time and it was quiet busy so determined to return and try the lunch food. The lunch menu was full of home cooked food such as fish and chips, a daily roast and other popular dishes.I returned last week and had a pint of Holden's Golden Glow at £3.20 and ordered their roast of the day - Pork with vegetables at under £5. Service was swift as the pub was one third full. 3 large slices of pork, very tasty but somewhat less tender than I am used to; with carrots, peas, rich mashed potato and plenty of rich, dark, glossy and tasty gravy. A lovely meal and my only regret was I did not ask for a piece of bread to soak up the gravy. This pub deserves to be full every day and I will certainly return for their food.

This place is a little gem, a nice warm welcome upon arrival, lots of lovely people dining at the tables which is always a good sign, the ladies day event was packed with good food, fine drinks, great atmosphere and good entertainment. I would highly recommend the colliers as they have a great choice of gins with good mixers. Live sky tv and a nice sun trap beer garden. Carl, Lynne and Hayley are friendly and are more than happy to serve you. You enter as a customer and leave as a friend. It’s well worth visiting this little gem of a place. Can’t wait to return again.

We were a late booking for lunchtime. We got there at just before 2pm to find the pub packed and every table occupied, this was not a problem and just served to re assure me how popular this place is. We were sat down just after 2 and had already had chance to study the menu. We had, roast ham dinner, fish and chips and lasagne. All were about £4-75 which is tremendous value. Its not "fine dining" it's proper "pub grub"and proud of it. I look forward to a return visit to try some more of the extensive menu.

heard some good reports about pub + food .... and they were not wrong. good choice of beers / ciders priced well. shown to table with a varied "pub" menu , stating home cooked. my wife omelette / salad , myself traditional haddock n chips. 10 min waiting to delivery-looking delicious , yep was home cooked . a locals pub , clean , with good atmosphere.

A lovely place, the eating area is really beautiful, very clean and has a lovely log fire. I just stopped to have a milkshake and it was the tastiest milkshake I have ever had! I had the Nutella milkshake and it was so sweet and the portions are quite large (served in a mason jar) so I would really recommend you come here, also the service is very quick and the staff are all very friendly!

This is a real "local" every visitor is made welcome. It has very good beer and real home cooked meals at lunchtime. I would highly recommend everything about the Colliers.

Esta es la segunda vez que he estado en este lugar, aunque tarde no locales, pero otros miembros de la familia comer allí regularmente. Sólo puedo criticar el servicio amable y eficiente, y la comida es deliciosa, de una variedad casera, con un menú que ofrece una excelente opción. Los precios son excepcionalmente razonable y ofrece buena relación calidad-precio. Te hacen sentir muy a gusto.

Hoy disfrutamos de una comida estupenda en el Colliers. Fue una comida de cumpleaños para 70th 10 de nosotros, todos los 65. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos desde el comienzo y órdenes adoptadas muy rápidamente. La comida estaba cocinado a la perfección y eran sabrosas y calientes. Desde una comida cocinada, varios platos de pescado y de hígado y cebolla, una variada selección de comidas para todos los gustos.

He visitado dos veces este mes con un amigo para almorzar. El personal es amable y la comida es excelente. Comidas caseras y generosas porciones. El menú es variado y muy buenos precios. Por ejemplo, un plato como una cena de asado o queso y tarta es de £3. 95. Un queso y jamón baguette con hugh ensalada es de £2. 95. No he probado un flan pero como nosotros siempre llenos. Planeando sobre una base regular. Las comidas se sirven entre las 12 y las 3:00 y hay un gran jardín de la cerveza se puede utilizar en los meses de verano.

My partner and I live in Gwent and our friends live near Manchester. We wanted to meet up for lunch somewhere midway and after a few minutes googling came up with the Colliers Arms. How glad we are we did! And how glad we are we booked a table, as it was buzzing throughout our two and a half hour stay. The menu is not huge, but it's more than adequate and there was plenty of things we would have been happy to choose. The food here is straightforward, no fuss, home cooked fayre. Compared to our home areas, north and south, the prices are incredible. All four of us ate well for the price we might have paid for one person elsewhere. Wow. It was spot on in every regard. The welcome, the service, the beer (Golden Glow was glorious!), the food, the ambience and the bill were all totally perfect. Thank you. We'll be doing this again. Soon.

Have visited this pub on several occasions for lunch and have always been delighted. The menu is varied and the food is very good. The prices are low and make this exceptional value. We always find the staff very friendly and we have no hesitation in recommending the pub as a place toeat

This is a lovely pub and they do great lunch time food. They do a roast dinner every week day for £3.95. Its child friendly too... theres a child's menu. Their chips are nice too. Their baguettes are fabulous packed full of filling. Their menu is quite varied and is very, very reasonably priced. My husband and I both love this pub and enjoy the food.The staff are really welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this place either for just having a drink and/or food.

I do not usually rave about a chain restaurant but this is the exception. The staff are helpful, pleasant, friendly and really know their job. The food is well cooked and the menu varied. The atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. I suspect the Manager is top of his game.I have visited the Colliers Arms seven times this year.

Wow, what an absolutely fantastic day! Live entertainment provided by some very talented musicians. Amazing that such a little pub was able to stage such an event. Well done to all!

I'd only called in because I was working nearby and there ain't any other places to eat nearby! However, I was pleased to find the pub pretty busy at dinner time with both diners and drinkers.The first thing that pleased me was the note on the menu "We don't serve fast food, we serve good home cooking as quickly as we can" - always a good omen for me.Then when I asked, I found that their pies are actually slices of pie not casseroles with a bit of pastry plonked on top.There's a pretty large food menu, and everything is very reasonably priced - my pie and chips was £3.95 (and turned out to be excellent value, as well as very tasty indeed).They also have a selection of real ales, and friendly staff ;)I'm glad I went in and will surely return next time I'm in the area

The pub is delivering tasty hot food at a very reasonable price. Such good value and very friendly service. The deserts are also good value. I am a regular at this pub and the menu is varied enough not to get tired of the choice.

A lovely friendly pub with lots going on. Pub quiz, karaoke, lunch time meals with home cooked food and daily specials, live music, Saturday night games night and a darts team. You won't find another pub like it.

You can not fault the friendly staff. The lunch times are busy and a reservation may be needed. If on a visit through though the staff will find you a table in no time at all.Lovely beer garden at the rear for a sunshine lunch (I can not guarantee the sun though!)Bus stop opposite to Cannock, Walsall and Wolverhampton. If you are not local....the customers make you feel like a local.A truly great village pub.
