Food and service was amazing! We forgot to check if we could take our dog and they were good enough to provide table service in the garden. I would definitely recommend but Dogs are not allowed inside.

A lovely family restaurant. Airy,bright and a relaxed atmosphere, tables are not pushed together....all in all a nice place... good portions,fairly priced.

Have been a few times previously but not for a couple of years, food was still of a high standard and service excellent too.

Lovely pub, really friendly staff. Ordered camembert and steaks, delicious and cooked perfectly. Brilliant selection of ales. Really recommend this pub for dinner and drinks. Came here for a 40th birthday Friday evening and had drinks the next day, excellent service from all staff especially Rachel, everyone so friendly from staff to locals, well worth a visit, food and drinks excellent, keep up the great work will definitely be back in the future 😀 👍 😊

Some of my family and I visited here for an evening meal. Great food, good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. I had the steak and kidney pudding off the specials board. Homemade, delicious, and huge! With loads of gravy and buttery mash. Really enjoyed it. We would certainly revisit.

It's a lovely independent pub with delicious food and some of the best Yorkshire beers.

Second visit after we so enjoyed the first 18 months ago. Food was good, but confused for us if punching for a Michelin star. Menu very similar, if not the same for some courses. Large beetroot bread roll, no beetroot flavour but great bread… size large to start filling you up. Next 2 amuse bouche , starters v good. Roast beef main course, hearty and pleasant, but seems at odds as hearty as I say rather than michelin, plenty of local pubs do as good or better. Two desserts attempting to be back on michelin spectrum but too similar…. Just nothing stand out. This time we used a voucher, so rather resent having to pay a service charge then on its gift value, but we didn’t quibble. Drinks expensive, so for the total price of the meal and drinks we weren’t convinced this was value for money, would prefer to spend elsewhere, so may not return in the near future. Still a lovely setting.

Stopped by this place whilst in the area so glad we found it. Not your typical cafe decor but well worth a visit. Food itself , was a very generous potion , hot & freshly prepared with local ingredients . One of the best full English I've had and excellent value , could not fault it .....

Quirky intimate restaurant, Exceptional food and great service...will definitely go there again, God willing...

Absolutely fantastic spot in East Bristol. I opted for the medium breakfast which was great. Good value, very fast and polite service. No complaints.

Dog and human friendly. Scones to die for and lots of delicious sweet and savoury options. Parking opposite side of bridge.
