Mr Sea's Fish and Chip Shop in Amber Valley

Well that was the best fish and chips I have had in ages. Fish was freshly cooked and the chips are perfection. 10 out of 10 we will return.

Lived in the village for years but first visit and definitely will not be the last The fish was so fresh and chips was amazing one of the best fish dinners I have had

The fish and chips are lovely really top quality and that's chips as well as fish but they are hardly ever open, don't believe the web site when it says open from 12 on a Friday because it aint.

Although the staff are all lovely I'm sorry to say this was not a good experience. Chips were soggy, greasy and under cooked and the prices are extortionate. I sadly won't be rushing back. I wouldn't normally give a poor review but the quality is now rock bottom and certainly not worth the price I was charged sorry!

I must say that's the best fish and chips I've ever had from a chip shop. Restaurant quality food from a takeaway cooked to perfection. Easy ordering and payment process. I don't normally like chips from a chip shop but these guys have converted me. A must try and my new regular

This is the only place i go for a takeaway everything is cooked to perfection staff friendly nothing is to much for them portion size are massive.

Used the phone and collect service about three weeks ago and weekly ever since. What a well organised family business. Ring through your order and you are given a time to collect. Everything is super efficient . Well done to you all, and by the way the fish and chips are superb.!Thank you for providing this service in difficult times

Now I know why people have a chippy tea,the best tasting chips I’ve ever had with a small fish which still fills the plate,the large fish could feed three of you,we got a box of chips which could have fed the 5000 lol with a carton of beans and peas. I’ve heard people travel 25mins to come here,enough said. Do not miss this great wee chippy.

Placed an order for 11 people. The best fish n chips for miles, can't even get them like this at the seaside. Totally delicious.

Mrs Seas in Loscoe ‘IS’ consistently cooking food to perfection and a high standard. I have eaten here personally on many occasion, and loved it so have my family and they never can do enough for you x im also on the PTA of my sons school and they help out with donations to the school for the summer fayre and xmas fayre and also provide us with chips at our bingo and chips event we have for 100 people at the school! They go out of their way to please their customers x top chip shop cant fault it xxx

This has got to be THE BEST chipshop in derbyshire the food is just amazing so fresh the staff go above and behond to make sure you get just what you want. Very very highly recommended.

My usual chippy was closed. But to the occasion Mrs Sea’s rose. I can only flatter On their crispy light batter. The chips were fantastic (wish my belt was elastic...) I’d simply be insane Not to frequent here again. Friendly, fresh, faultless, fantastic.

this is a little chippy on the corner of a main road.after a busy day we decided we didn't want to cook so popped in.the staff are very friendly,service was quick and efficient and the food was lovely.we will be back

This restaurant used to be a pub. It is now a really up market fish and chip shop. Not only are the owners really friendly they also support local charities. The menu is a traditional fish and chip shop menu and the restaurant side is a beautiful place to eat. It reminds me of a really lovely seaside restaurant. There is also outdoor seating. They are able to deal with large parties efficiently as the staff are hard working and efficient. I've eaten here several times and the food and service has always been top notch.

I've not been in here for a good few years when it was under the old ownership,it was good then and still is.Very friendly and efficient staff,and terrific fish and chips.It certainly won't be as long before I call again.

We've had a "chippy tea" from here on several occasions and it's never been a disappointment. The food is piping hot, very tasty and the batter on the fish is beautiful, very light and crisp. Portion sizes are very generous and it's very reasonably priced. It's a tiny little shop but like they say, good things come in small packages! A proper little gem of a chippy!! Would highly recommend!

Good quality fish and chips, lovely owners and service. Only open until 9pm so don't go to late. Always enjoy them .
